Value for money ”
This hotel is not too bad. Require for some maintenance as the room looks old and a lot of light cannot be on, aircon not cold, bathroom water leaking... And the service is a bit slow. Required some improvement. But the young and handsome manager can speak a very good English. So you will not facing any communication problem while you talking with him. He's helpful.
The hotel is located just in front of Night Market, so it is very good location, even though there is a night club (or karaoke) that have very loud voice until about 3 or 4 am, so if you looking for a nice and calm hotel to take a rest in 10 or 11 pm, you should consider this case. Actually the room and facilities is nice.
This hotel's location is very strategic, near to the night market, halal restaurant, Hard Rock Cafe (walking distance), riverside and basically everything. The staffs were very helpful, speaks english and attentive to my request. They allowed me to late check out. The room really comfortable and spacious. Just the toilet is open concept with no doors. Minus part is there is no lift, so need to lift our luggage to the room (staff help me to bring the luggage upstairs). I will definitely will be staying is this hotel again if i come back to Phnom Penh. Just simply loved it.
The hotel room has lots of termites and insects”
The hotel room has lots of termites and insects You need to use a flashlight to thoroughly check your room and bed. The corridor is dark ... The night market is next to the hotel - however, it should not be eaten here because it is very dirty The hotel does not have an elevator - you must carry the luggage on the stairs yourself Staff are a few friendly people, some people avoid, serving rooms is slow and lazy The only plus is that the hotel is centrally located, with a bus stop to Siem Reap and Sihanouvile next door (very cheap fares) Phong hotel có rất nhiều mối và côn trùng.
Too pricey at $30+ a night. Great location and friendly staff. Aircon is ok. Leaking shower, unstable pressure, not hot enough, a big minus. No shower gel, shampoo. WiFi at <2mbps another big minus. No lift but only 3 storeys.
Great location, great design, customer service is okay. But it's in a crowded location, there are music playing until midnight. So if you are looking for place to relax and sleep, please look somewhere else. But if you are traveler, and will be spending time out as night owl, it's a good place in prime location!
Right location ”
Good value for money and in the right location . Close to the nightmarket , restaurants and the riverside . Good bed and nice design . Down points , quite some noise from the bars till 4am . Hot water almost impossible to regulate .
Staying there three days, no refill of water, change of tower and clean the room or made up the bed. The hotel is next to market that every night have local singer performing. The premises is old and not well maintain.
Good hotel for short term”
The great location is #1 points caused it's next to the PP Night Martker where we could find some delicious local foods. It's easy to have a walk through some of landmarkable icon in PP such as Royal Palace, Wat Phnom and Nagaworld Complex Casino. Or we could chill in some pubs or bars around this area. The Wifi connection was not well cause sometimes automatically disconnected, I was on 2nd floor for this time. It's also hard for vistors can park bikes since we have guets visiting
The night shift staff cant compare to the morning staff. ”
Also, the sheets have hairs and the bath tub looked like it is going to get broken anytime. And the night shift staff only understands a few english and became a bit rude. But the location of the hotel was the best.
Problem when checking”
We arrived hotel yesterday about midnight for checking, but we cannot stay because hotel staff can not find any information about my booking number, even they were searching for email many times on their computer. I checked my Angoda app and I pretty sure that I did not cancel or received any notification about canceling, but an email tells me that my booking is confirmed and completed. They were offering us a room with a normal price that we can't afford so we left for another hotel that took us once again, searching time, walking time, in the middle of the night. Not happy at all because it affects my trip, my plans. I don't know where the problem was coming from the hotel or coming from Angoda's sever but I really need you guys to check it, take it seriously and make sure that it will not happen again for your valuable guests. My booking id is 349689265.
Lovely hotel, very nice rooms that were clean and well looked after. Staff were great, we had room service and the food was yummy. Only weird thing was that there was no door between bathroom and bedroom... and a little noisy from the night market nearby. Would have stayed longer but they were fully booked.
solid hotel for the price”
Room was clean, there isn't any "hot" water - lukewarm at best. The room we had, had a very strange layout with a step by the bed and one near the bathroom area - tough on small kids. Be aware there is no lift. And you go up a circular staircase - not the easiest to climb carrying luggage. I actually called and asked for help with the luggage when we left. Location is nice - your near the waterfront, across from the night market, next to the IBIS ticket office. Solid value for the money if your just looking for a clean place to sleep.
nice hotel but lack of good management”
in times to come this nice hotel will turn into another run down and tired hotel. As can be seen now water dripping from the ventilation hole on to the toilet area whenever there is a guest stay in the room one floor above, bidet spray dripping non stop, bathtub drainage too slow and there will be a pool of water whenever a shower is taken place. The management should take a serious look of all the rooms if they want to maintain some standard of the hotel , otherwise this nice hotel image will be fading soon.
Not at all what is advertised, do not expect what you see in the pictures”
Booked deluxe room with city view, wasn’t available when arrived, no apologies, instead tried to convince us we didn’t book a room with a view even though it was on confirmation, “welcome drink” is a non sealed bottle of water, no towels in room, was given dirty/stained/frayed towels or told to wait until 10pm for clean ones, water dripping from ceiling over toilet (from toilet on floor above?) I can’t believe this is an Agoda approved hotel, appalling!
Needs a lot of maintenance, but okay!”
Nice when you first enter the room! On inspection, there’s holes, screws, spider webs, floor panels missing! The socket layout is all over the place! Cold shower! Leaks around bath and near toilet! And a little dark - I presume to hide the cracks and spider webs! However, the basic facilities are fairly decent. Kettle, tea, coffee, water, fridge, hair dryer, toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrush, shaving kit etc. Air con! Good shower heads! There was no towels in my room. I had to go and get them myself! The room and bathroom is a fairly good size! Though music playing from bars next door until 3-4am! And you have to climb steep steps to get to your room!
Good hotel . ”
Good hotel . Pre , location , good bed , bath , nice people . Down points ... location as it is noisy with the market right in front and the girlie bars in the back . WiFi isn't reliable and goes off many times , temperature of the water is up and down all the time . Good if you like to go out but not perfect for families with kids .
Great design but flawed ”
This hotel is really well designed in terms of the rooms the facilities and the general look . The staff did their upmost to be helpful and friendly however the main problem is the noise Basically the hotel is next to a club which plays music till 4 AM pretty much every day . It’s a real shame as the hotel is wonderfully located and actually is a pleasant place to stay that is the noise pollution that will deprive you of sleep . In addition they do not have a left on the stairs are like climbing a ladder . If you are young and a deep sleeper this hotel is a really trendy place to stay Otherwise I suggest you stay away
I have booked room with balcony but they gave me a room with no balcony When I booked the room on the side saying with a welcome drink but they Didn’t offer any drinks also I booked the room with a breakfast but they asked me a five dollars a person
The hotel double booked ”
I was annoyed with De Art, the hotel I had booked with. Though I got there reasonably early I was told they didn't have a room for me, and they sent me on to another place, Paragon Hotel, where they first wanted to charge me more and there were problems with hot showers - but location was satisfactory and staff obliging.
