Gutes Hostel in perfekter Lage”

Die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind in Ordnung. Im Zimmer fehlt jedoch eine Ablagemöglichkeit. Für den Preis ist es jedoch ein sehr gutes Hostel und das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist hervorragend!

Das Hostel ist in der Seitenstraße in China Town wo abends der Nachtmarkt stattfindet. Dennoch ist das Hostel in einer ruhigen Lage. Attraktionen sind schnell zu Fuß oder Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zu erreichen. Das Hostel selber ist sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Nur beim buchen von einem Bus hatten wir kleine Schwierigkeiten. Generell kann ich dieses Hostel nur weiter empfehlen.

Tolle Lage im Zentrum. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer. Leider waren vor meinem Fenster die Klimaanlagen der andere Räume, wodurch es sehr laut und dunkel war.

Es war ok”

Also es war ok. Ich war in einem Zweibettzimmer und es war gut zum schlafen, mehr aber auch nicht. Einrichtung eher minimalistisch gehalten, Frühstück ist vorhanden: zwei toastscheiben mit Butter und Marmelade. Café gibt es auch. Sie haben einen Wasserspener, hier kann man sich umsonst was zu trinken holen. Im Kühlschrank gibt es wahlweise sprite/Cola für 1000 kjat oder Wasser für 500. 20 dollar sind trotzdem etwas viel für ein hostel. Nichtsdestotrotz gibt es hier sehr freundliches Personal das teilweise ganz gut Englisch spricht (und teilweise kaum) und die Lage in China town bei den ganzen essensständen ist gut, auch wenn die strasse eher wie eine hinterhofgasse aussieht.

Bad communication”

The hostel was closed for renovations and I had two bookings! I arrived at 11.30pm and had to try and find alternative accommodation. I had no communication they were closed.

Quite disappointing”

The whole place smells mouldy. Fungi are growing in the toilet. There was no window in our room (I guess that counts for most rooms) and rubbish underneath the bed. TV was there but not working. Breakfast was shorter then displayed and consisted of toast, 1 egg and smelly butter. Would not go there again.

Smelly and moist room ”

We instantly left after we saw the room. It was small, dark, moist and smelly with no window. There’s a really unhealthy smell in the whole hotel, probably mold from the moist. The door and ceiling in our room where just really wet! The bed sheets were also kind of moist. We get our money back after a lot of trouble. We had to reach out to agoda because the booking was non refundable, but eventually we got it back. The staff is really nice though and the location is good, but I would recommend spending a little bit more money for a better hotel.

Too dirty”

We stayed there for 2 nights. Don't do that. The room was very small, with no window (so no airflow, it's smelled bad), the shared bathroom was dirty and there where A LOT of mosquitoes (and no mosquito net). I don't get the rate this place got on Agoda. Yes it's cheap but for me it's not a good place to stay even for one night. But the staff was kind and helpful.

The 20th street hostel is very well located in the center, the breakfast is ok and the toilets also. The staff is really friendly and helpful, difficult to find better than that. By the way the rooms are not much airated so they can be humid during the night. We recommend this hostel anyway.

Absolutely Gross, room not clean in years”

I have very basic needs when it comes to accommodation. I never leave bad reviews. Only good ones for the properties I liked. But this place requires me to warn others. Under the bed there was literally an inch of dust. My partner closed the curtains and got a face full of dust, all in her eyes. The Air conditioner smells of mold and mildew and needs to be serviced. The staff was nice but obviously don't do their jobs properly. I recommend everyone avoids it. There are other properties with similar price and amenities in the area. This place looks nothing like the photos on any of the booking sites. I recommend Agoda to take them off their website. I usually use booking.com and will continue. I want a refund from Agoda, for false advertising.

Really nice staff but that unfortunately does not change the fact that the place is dirty. Mould smell in my room (double bed) and stained sheets.

Worst place imn Myanmar”

This was the worst place we ve stayed as far un myanmar. Not cheap for myanmar standards and it was really: the shared bathroom with rooms attached to it, no windows in any room, very humid and dirty. No information or what so ever not for visiting the city, niether for train timetables. We came down the first day for breakfast, it was awful, they just went across the street to buy some chicken stuffed ball amd it was the worst. They offered us to stay an extra night for free... but... thank you but no thanks.

cheap stay with shared bathroom”

don't expect too much, just a cheap stay. Shared bathroom was disgusting. Male staff cleaning just superficial. Bed was ok. location good if you want enjoy the eateries and street food at China town
