Ruhiges und sauberes Hostel mit sehr netten Personal”

Das Hostel liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, man kann aber alles in maximal 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichen oder noch schneller mit den kostenlosen Fahrrädern. Das Personal ist sehr nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wenn man mit dem Nachtbus ankommt und ein Bett frei ist, kann man auch schon früher einchecken. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen :)

Ruhig gelegen aber recht weit außerhalb (mückengefahr?) Zimmer sind super klein und stickig Bad sah bestimmt mal toll aus, wird aber nicht wirklich gewartet. Gemeinschaftsbereich draußen - bei Regen bestimmt doof, bei zu viel Sonne halfen die schirme auch nicht so viel... Mitarbeiter sind aber sehr lieb und das Frühstück ist toll! Für den Preis aber definitiv ok.

Disappointing animal welfare ”

After a long overnight bus journey I was delighted when they offered me a bed at 6am it was much appreciated. Unfortunately after that my stay wasn’t so pleasant. I found the manager to be very aggressive with another customer over the rental of a scooter. Another guest told me when she checked in he also said that if she wanted to leave to get another hostel she could after she woke him on arrival from another overnight bus journey. I then went upstairs breakfast is offered but there is 1 item per day. When I was upstairs I found an emaciated dog I asked the manager who owned this dog and he said the hostel with a proud smile. I then advised him she was extremely thin and possibly sick he told me she just had pups which was even more worrying. He didn’t seem happy I was enquiring about the dogs welfare. The other staff made a point of feeding her in front of me later that day. I fed the dog meat but I don’t expect her or her pups will survive much longer. I can’t condone this!!!

Free bicycles, water and cigars. Located just a five minute bicycle ride over the bridge outside town in a peaceful area surrounded by nature and local villages. Staff were extremely helpful and the rooftop area is a great place to chill. All they need is some hammocks!

Very nice hostel for the price, good breakfast and nice roof top. Located a bit outside of the city center but you will reach it in few min with the free bicycles you can use or walking. Very calm area, very simple room but comfortable and nice staff

Breakfast was really good and included in price. Free coffee, tea and cigars at all times. Power went out once but they got a generator going right away. Cons- bad wifi

A very basic hostel ”

I really didn't understand how this hostel got the traveller rating it has. It is quite basic, OK for the price, but I stayed at better hostels in Myanmar for the same price. The manager as well as the staff don't understand or speak English, so even basic communication is a problem. They don't have any common area to sit or work. Well there is a rooftop bar, but you can not sit there in the hot afternoon. Only the toilets get cleaned every day. The rooms don't get cleaned - not during my 3 night stay. Breakfast is very basic too, so I got only bread and jam as I don't eat eggs. The funniest was the bathroom. In the size of a toilet, you had both toilet and shower. On the good side, the attitude of the staff is very helping. They try to help you in whatever way they can. Another plus is free bicycles.

This hostel was just amazing! Everything was good, but the best thing about the hostel is the staff. The guys from the reception are always super nice but the real MVP Ist THe manager. He definitely know how to make his customers happy! Shout-out to you brother! I wish you all the best for your future!

Pro - location about 10mins walk from city centre, but free bike is available to use. Surrounding by quiet atmosphere, roof top has a nice view. Breakfast menu is different for everyday and taste nice. Hair dryer attached at every basin. Soap available to use. Laundry service is available at 200mmk per piece. Bus ticket booking service is available. I joined the Inle Lake boat tour, including sunset and sunrise, worth for it. Bed is clean and comfy, every bed attached a socket and light. The staff are friendly and helpful, initiate to help all kinds of problems. Cons : the floor felt a bit sandy.

The manager is absolutely rude and unprofessional”

it is super far from center,you need to walk half hour from the center to the hostel,and whole road is dusty and full of rocks,the bed is no curtain,you will wake up at 5am in the morning,because of the sun light,poor breakfast,no AC,super hot,and wifi is basically not exist,super slow.but anyway compare with this price is ok,only 5 bucks. but most horrible part is the manager,the fat guy,always acting so rude,talking rude,a money hunger,totally unprofessional,I dont know why this kind of people can be a manager,I booked a tour from him,I paid 10000 MMK,but when I met peoples from the boat,everybodypaid 6000 MMK,I paid almost two times more,which totally unfair,I come back the hostel tried to argue with him,he suddenly became so angry and yelled to me,because he lied now he is anxious。 anyway

Great hostel with amazing staff”

It's a great hostel just outside of the town but they give you bicycle for free. The breakfast, which is different every day, is really good and it is served on the rooftop with a really nice view. The staff, although they cannot speak perfect English, are great and always here to help, and Ko Saï, the manager, is the best. I had a great time staying there! They really make you feel like part of a family!

Ko Sai, the hostel manager (and the other staff) are very friendly and go above and beyond to help and make you feel welcome. Ko Sai was kind enough to drop me to the train station very early in the morning free of charge and help with a problem with the ticket. The hostel is modern for Myanmar with decent bathrooms, power and light by each bunk and storage for luggage. There is a nice rooftop with great sunset views and the breakfast is delicious. Although it is a little out of the centre, there are free bikes to use which is very handy.

Bus tickets are usually 2,000 more expensive than those in other hostels. Need to pay at least 7,000 to rent a boat but a few hunderd meters away at the ferry, 5 people can share one boat and 4,000 each. Toilet papar always missing and wet. If you arrive at midnight, could be followed and barked by lots of dogs nearby.

The staffs are amazing! Very friendly and speaking good English. They were the main reason I stayed here for almost 2 weeks! We went to festivals near night market. We had lunch and dinner together. We exchanged languages. Great location, 10 minutes walk to the town, without the crowds and noises. Excellent breakfast and snack. Cosy beds with personal plug and light. I cancelled my original plans and extending my stay here. Too hard to leave this place. You will love them too!

Ok, it’s not a huge histel and not in the center, but you can rent a bike which I would recommend and with that you can get to the city in 3 minutes. The staff was super nice and helpful and funny. They took the luggage out of the car, wouldn’t let me to take in our out. There is alaays tea and coffee and free snacks at around 4 (I can’t remember the exact time) Helped us to plan what to do, they can organize a tour on the lake and tell you what to see on a shorter day. They were playing with us infront of the buliding and we could listen to our music meanwhile. Amazing little place! I loved it!!
