Amazing swim up room-adult only!!”
Great big room with steps into pool. Day bed on the deck between the room and the pool, with pillows. Perfect! Pool in the shade- a welcome relief to the hot sun especially in the afternoon. Room has coffee and cups. In hall outside room refillable water station with hot and cold water. They even provide tumblers with kids to use. Beach towels and tote bag provided. Ok breakfast with the usual stuff. Bar has happy hour from 5-830 at night with half price drinks! Can sit on grass with beanbags chairs if you like. Quiet room- no long tail boat noise here!! The bed is huge and comfortable, the best bed in 3 weeks of Asia travel. We love this place and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic and beautiful place to stay. Even as a solo traveler, I splurged on this place (a deluxe room) because it was my birthday. But compared to the other resorts in this area, this by far the best value. It was a short walk to West Railay Beach, the bars, and the food. I was hardly in my room as I was out on excursions or activities the whole time. The shower is amazing! If you are looking for a resort type place where you never leave the property, this isn’t the place. East Railay Beach is pretty, but not the stroll along the beach and sunbath pretty. I read a complaint about the pool, but who is going to be in the pool with such a beautiful beach nearby? The staff was impeccable and always greeted you with a smile. They had live music every night for entertainment but you could hear the music from the nearby ‘clubs’ going deep into the night. Not bothersome at all though. The resort was filled mostly with couples and families. I’m pretty sure I was the only solo traveler there Overall, I would highly recommend this place to everyone. I’ll be back.

Exceeded our expectations”
For the price we paid we weren't expecting such a nice hotel. We loved the balcony where we chilled most of the nights after a wonderful day in Railay. Railay is truly a magical place and we're so glad we kept on extending our stay. If you are going to visit Railay, don't think twice booking this great resort. The pool is great, staff is very hospitable and the rooms are very comfortable. You sometimes will even get treated with a show of the crazy monkey who hang around the area.

I'd make this my second home! ”
Absolutely loved the day bed and spacious balcony. Appreciate the thoughtful touches such as beach bag, beach towel, umbrellas, mosquito mat, and extendable clothes rack on the balcony. Location is great - in the middle of everything! Just a 7-min walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops along the same strip. I had breakfast on the last day and a few things can be improved: - Selection of the buffet could use more variety (it's currently only Western) - Staff should be more observant of when guests arrive; I got there and paid the buffet fee, then got a plate with some food and sat down. The staff then immediately cleared the buffet trays, which made it rushed for me to fully enjoy my meal. That was not great. All good otherwise!

Beautiful resort, great service ”
We opted for a room with pool access which was clean, well-decorated and had a very comfortable bed. The service of the staff was exceptional and made our stay here very pleasant. There was a power outage which affected the whole of railay but we are pleased with the way the staff handled the situation. We will definitely recommend the resort.

Great hotel, felt like it was an expensive resort”
Great location close to the pier, less than 10 minute walk to West Beach and to other nice beaches. The atmosphere is great. The facilities, including the pool, garden, outdoor bar with live music make it feel luxurious. The rooms have a nice terrace overlooking the pool, very cool vibe. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and new.

The hotel is well situaded right in the middle of the Island. It is located a few steps from the main pier and It is possible to do everything by foot or boat, of course. Some bars can be found in the same street, travel agencies, mini markets and massages spots. The food is excelente. There is a happy hour with special prices and live music. The pool is great and the hotel has a beautiful decoration. The Room is huge, bigger than I was specting. The bed is perfect and the Air conditioning saves lives in Railay. Breakfast is well sortes, fresh and delicious. I would definitelly come back.

This resort is the best in Krabi,Thailand. Here are some highlights. 1) When I first walked into my room, I met a monkey on my balcony. I fed him some watermelon. It made my day. 2) The music playlist that plays in the dinning area is superb and gives my ears a rest. Most places you go in Thailand play the top 20 radio from America in hopes of attracting foreigners. Those places make my ears bleed. This hotel, however, plays a wide variety of great music. 3) When I asked a man if I could purchase a coconut he was picking, the staff gave it to me for free, cut it open and straw included. They are so kind and personable. 4) We visited Ao Nang for a night, realized it sucked and decided to come back to Railay. Even though we payed for a standard room, upon seeing our return, they upgraded our room to a nicer one next to the pool, free of charge. Again, they are so kind. These are just a few stories to express how beyond the excellent amenities, beautiful location, and so on that can be gathered from the Agoda posting, that this is an excellent resort. Now onto the only negative that this resort has - the coffee sucks. I won't lie. It is nescafe instant coffee heated in a pot. It is disappointing. If you wake up early around 6am like me, you have to wait until 8am to go buy real coffee. I understand that including free, good coffee may be too costly for the hotel's free breakfast, but I would be happy to pay extra. However, I don't think they have an expresso machine. I may be wrong though. Anyways, enjoy your stay with Avatar!

Avatar in Railay offers everything you need for a great time in Railay. Perfectly located with adults only it provides an amazing vibe in order to enjoy your time. It‘s super clean and breakfast is amazing. Feels like a great boutique hotel due to it‘s limited number of rooms. I‘d love to come back!

Exceptional Services and Great Stay at Avatar”
We couldn't be more grateful as the staff service was incredible and sweet! The room was nice, and also was the pool access. If you're looking for a place to stay at Railay where is worthy your money, this is the one. Even though you have to walk to the beach, I still prefer this one to many others. For your consideration, breakfast was okay but I think it could be better. Thank you, Avatar!

Comfort, Luxury, Adult only”
This place was amazing. I stayed in two different rooms and one of them had a surprise private pool on my balcony. Both rooms were incredibly nice and clean and the staff were lovely. If you need to escape the sounds of children screaming in a pool then this is the place for you. Adults only!

We stayed 3 Days in the Avatar and it is a good place to stay. The Room is very humid, but this is normal. It is Clean and as we had the PoolAcceess Rom it was fun to have the chance to yump in the pool at night. The location is very good and i loved the daily evening music sasen at the open space at the restaurant. Very cool.. ! I would recomend the Hotel and i would stay there again next time.

We love Avatar Railay Resort. Great location, good food, clean room, nice pool, and we got a pretty good deal. The only downside is that it is not really 'adults only' as its name. There were a bunch of kids running around in the restuarant during dinner.

Beautiful Room, Amazing Location, Great Value”
Very happy with my stay at this hotel. The room was much better than I expected and the location was perfect for easy access to shops, music, and the beach. The staff were very friendly and offered a drink on arrival. The breakfast was very good and the overall ambiance of the hotel was very pleasing. I would definitely stay here again.

Worth it, definetly”
Apart from being in the amazing Railey Bay, the hotel is so good for the price given. The room is quite big and includes everything needed. Location is always good, as in Railey everything is near by. We have been in the Covid time and it was one of the few hotels open in the area, which means management is doing well. I feel very happy to have chosen this hotel for a week.

Prime location, serene energy”
This is the perfect lodging if you'd like a peaceful jungle hideaway with close proximity to the beach. The foliage here is insane. The green canopy that leads from the main entrance to the rooms is a portal to the relaxing getaway I was needing. HUGE rooms. HUGE beds. My balcony was a true sanctuary. I could've stayed there the entire time and been perfectly content. Can't wait to return :)

This hotel is great! The rooms are clean and the entire place is well maintained. So many of the hotels in Railay are not great value or aren’t clean -this isn’t one of them. We will certainly be back!
