Convenient. Just one stop from Shinkuku and 5-10 min walk from either Okubu or Shin Okubu station. The room is room and well-designed. The only problem is that there’s no elevator. Easy self check in and check out and finding the key (very clear instructions given).

Comfortable twin room that provides 2 single beds, heating/air-con, kitchenware, washing machine, like all japan accommodation that it also has a bathtub in the room. Friendly staff and easy access to okubo station.

Simple, minimalist boutique hotel in Tokyo’s Koreatown”

It’s kind of a small room but it’s very cozy with a nice balcony and spacious bathroom so you’re all good. Wifi’s very fast. Great location in Koreatown too. Loved all the action nearby. Shin Okubo and Okubo train stations were also very near. Cheers.

Clean & Nice concept place”

We had a four nights stay here & we did not have any bad impression for this place. The only thing we wish was better is the bed. The queen bed is smaller than the usual standard queen sized bed. If you are a bit big-sized, the bed might not be suitable for two person. Overall we had a good stay here.

BMJ located in shin okubo korean town,you can find yoshinoya, mc donald's , 2 supermarket,don qi shop,100 yen shop nearby (walking distance).Located in quiet neighbourhood the motel is spotless and it has everything we need even it has washing machine and microwave.Check in was easy, did not meet the owner but they are easily contacted via email.thank you..value for money!

Very Clean and Nice”

Clean, comfortable, quiet, economical and although it's located in a residential area, with a nearby convenience store, it's just is a 6-min. walk to the Shin Okubo train station. This place has a nice and friendly staff and is excellent to stay in for travellers who are busy exploring the nearby areas, as Shin Okubo (Koreatown) is one train-ride from Shinjuku, which also makes it very near Yoyogi, Harajuku, Shibuya and Tokyo Central.

Residential area and close to Okubo station ”

Friendly staff and comfortable stay. The room is adequate enough for twin sharing with 2 single beds and a washing machine. It’s a pity that it doesn’t have a lift.

Friendly host”

The host is active keeping in touch of our arrival and even recommended the best Wagyu beef dinner. The beds are so comfy as well. Only down point is that we had 3 rooms and my room had a bad smell from the toilet. other than that, i was perfect.

The place was excellent. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Very clean and comfortable beds. Made me feel at home and well rested after every day of my adventures.

Typical Japanese Studio - Authentic Modern Japanese Lifestyle”

The place is a typical Japanese studio with a washer, separated bathroom and restroom, and balcony to hang laundry. So you can truely experience a typical and authentic modern Japanese lifestyle. (I highly recommend you to try a washer and taking a bath.) The place was very clean and looked pretty new. I interacted with two staff and both of them were very friendly and professional. They were fluent in Japanese and English (and Korean). The location is very convenient. It's only a few minutes walk from either Shin-Okubo Station or Okubo Station, but I would recommend using Shin-Okubo because it is Yamanote Line, which comes every 2-3 minutes. Despite the proximity to the stations, the neighborhood is a quiet residential area - you can enjoy another authentic, old-fashioned (in a good way), Japanese neighborhood. There are a couple of convenience stores on the way from Shin-Okubo St. but they are extremely tiny. So I would recommend to go to Lawson on the other side. If you don't feel comfortable with hang dry your laundry, there is a pretty clean laundromat within two-minute walk. I used its dryer and all dryers were 100 yen per 10 minutes. I was able to stay at extremely reasonable price because of the covid situation. I'm not sure if I would pay the regular price for an extended stay. But if you want to experience an authentic modern Japanese studio lifestyle, this is a very good place!

The room is clean and in a good location which 5 mins walking to the metro. The space is big compare with others in Tokyo. Nice stay.

Overall good stay”

Room is relatively small so with 2 big luggage is a bit tight. Floor is a bit dusty so hope can improve on cleaning. Bed is comfortable and apartment is well maintained. Overall stay was good.

Exzellent”

We absolutely loved our stay at bmj Shinjuku Okubo. The room is spacious and fully equipped with everything you might need for a stay in Tokyo. The neighborhood itself is quite vibrant, with a 24-hour Donki, 7-11, Family Mart, and Torikizoku. It is centrally located between the Chuo-sobu line and the Yamanote line, which makes it easy to get to most places! There are a lot of little restaurants in the neighborhood that serve Persian and Korean food. MJ at the office was also very friendly and helped us check in right away. The only drawback was that when we turned on the airconditioning it emitted a smell which eventually was gone after a few minutes. Otherwise, I would love to stay at bmj Shinjuku Okubo on my next trip to Tokyo.

Nice location in a happening area ”

I really enjoyed my stay at BMJ Shinjuku okubo as it takes about 7minutes to Shin-okubo station(JR line) and 3 minutes Okubo station(JR line). The area are surrounding by convenient stores, fastfood, 24 hours restaurant and shops. The staff are very helpful and they did provide us the very clear instructions during our check in time. Definitely will come back again in the future.

民宿类型，设备齐全，有洗衣机、微波炉、电热水器、浴缸等，有阳台晒衣服，如果行李多的话建议1楼，2、3楼电梯。床和枕头挺舒服。唯一有点不足的是夜晚走进去的路有点怕怕的，离大久保站不远，但是要去新宿的话要坐地铁。附近韩国人非常多，应该是韩国一条街。一句话总结：地段一般，设施齐全。
