Rooms too dark ,food just ok ,resturant service poor , walked out of Michelin Star resturant ”

Grounds are beautiful and so is pool area, service there was good . Out door bar area you needed to hunt down someone for service , breakfast needed hot option for a 5 star resort . ( scrabbled eggs on buffet looked like soup .Told them 3times it was my daughter birthday and they did nothing . Asked for cake at dinner it did not happen , we poured our own wine at dinner ? Asked concierge to book off rod wine tour and at first she said yes and then told us we had to drive 45 minutes to get there ? Really. After a strong email we were magically able to have someone pick us up as previously negotiated . Rooms were nice but needed more lights . This could be a fantastic resort but need to work on service . Spa treatments were good but we had to ask for a tour of the facilities which were nice but needs attention , old water bottles sitting around hot tub area . All things considered a bit disappointing for my daughters bd and the price . I would not say it is 5 star

An excellent spa experience with programs . It was lovely to do a regime based on such sound principles in such glorious luxurious surroundings but i wanted to stay another week to eat all the great food on the main hotel restaurant menus .this is truly one of the leading hotels of the world and i recommend it thoroughly.
