Eine Karaokebar im Haus war für uns zu laut. ”

Alles war ok. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet, das Bad war europäischen Normen entsprechend überdurchschnittlich. Nur hat die Karaokebar in der 3. Etage ab ca. 21 Uhr bis ca. 24 Uhr zu laut gespielt. Darum musste der Aufenthalt nach 2 Nächten vorzeitig beendet werden. Sehr schade. Der Eigentümer ist ein deutscher Unternehmer, der sich vor Ort persönlich um alles kümmert. Darum war alles auch Pico bello... Bis auf die Karaokesache.

Fantastisch”

Spacious room and bathroom. No shelving in shower to hold soap. The room and bathroom were clean. No extra toilet paper and no facial tissues in the bathroom. Not for people with physical disabilities. They have no elevator. Room decor is quite nice.

Bad”

It says there is wifi but theres none. Given a wifi password but for what theres no wifi. Tried ordering breakfast but gas ran out so they can't cook. Had to eat downtown nalang. Heater sometimes work sometimes it doesnt. No tissue in the cr. Room though is okay.

lured in by nice pics on agoda, the location totally sucks. on top of a noisy 24h gas station, under a karaoke bar that's noisy till 2am. the offered wifi didn't work, there's no cell signal to speak of either. the food was ok-ish, but nothing special, half the menu was out of stock or too much hassle for them to prepare. for p2250 a night it's totally overpriced and not worth it.

great hotel but flawed”

this hotel could be fantastic but let down by small details. The room was large and very clean and well appointed, but no tv signal, the restaurant was good but had an incomplete menu especially for european food, the rooftop bar is excellent and the barman very helpful and the karaoke is fun. All the staff were good tho on occasion slow. On the first day we requested room service, and gave the room key as requested however on return the room was the same. The second day we asked the cleaner directly asnd she did a fabulous job. The location is a bit remote but serviced by regular filipino transport.

Pleasantly Surprised ”

Besides Citi Hotel being a great value and comfortable room, I found the best entertainment in Southern Leyte at a restaurant in Hilongos called Villa La Cocina. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights that will blow you away. Citi Hotel and Villa La Cocina made my trip a totally unexpected pleasure

Our stay was short but it had no unpleasant surprises. That is really saying something for the Philippines! I read the previous reviews before booking our room and all of them had good scores. The hotel and owner deserve a lot of credit for keeping the hotel up to western standards of comfort and quality. Good job and thanks for a nice stay.

Best place in town. romed around to find other alternative this one was the only one i would like to check into. and i enjoyed my stay its a very good hotel even by my standards.

NIce stay under tough circumstances”

Visitiing my gf parents in Bato -- we stayed here and had to extend due to the tropical storm which shut down the ferries to Cebu. Arnold and his family and the whole staff were absolutely terrific -- and the hotel was clean and modern with a beautiful rooftop restaurant. Service was best I've had from a small hotel ever -- with them helping us through the storm and even driving us two hours north to get the one ferry to Cebu after the storm passed. We'll be back for sure.

This hotel is the best for miles, super clean, spacious, luxurious and comfortable. Good value for money since hotels around are for similar price but nowhere near the quality

Hotel loud and poor staff”

I was not inpressed with the hotel. The location is so bad. The hotel is located in a gas staition complex, next to a highway, so very loud 24 hours a day ( Bring your ear plugs). Hotel staff for dining was poor. They real are not organized and are never around. They dont even have the basic coffee for breakfast(??) The hotel plays music at night and is so loud in the entire building until early in the morning. The room was clean and nice inside that is all I can positive.
