Gastfreundlicher Empfang für Farang”
Persönliche Begrüßung, ein sehr besorgter Host, und alles was ein Tourist braucht, nämlich ein Bier und supernette Leute um dich herum. Schreibe diese Bewertung am ersten Tag da ich dazu aufgefordert wurde, denke aber alles kann sich nur noch verbessern. Zum Umfeld kann ich nur sagen, bin jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und Bao Bang hat einen eigenen Charm, weit weg von Phuket und Pattaya.(nicht nur geographisch) Zum Preis Leistungsgefüge................kann nicht besser sein! Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Süden der Insel”
Ich habe 2 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft verbracht und war rundum zufrieden. Es find an mit dem super herzlichen Empfang durch die Besitzerin und ihren Verlobten. Die Bungalows sind wirklich schön eingerichtet und insgesamt sehr sauber. Die Anlage besitzt einen kleinen Pool. Der Pier befindet sich ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft entfernt. Es wird Frühstück zu akzeptablen Preisen angeboten beispielsweise kostet Rührei mit Toast 100 Baht. Insgesamt muss man besonders die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Besitzer hervor heben! Ich komme gerne wieder.

Schöne Anlage in sehr ruhiger Gegend”
Positiv: Die Bungalowanlage ist sehr schön. Der Pool sieht sehr gut und sauber aus. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Besitzer der Anlage Jill und Egon sind wahre Schätze. Super freundlich & hilfsbereit. Sie bieten vieles an: Rollervermietung, Laundry Service uvm. Negativ: Leider wurde unser Zimmer (3N) kein einziges Mal gereinigt (auch kein Handtuchwechsel). Wir hatten ein Bungalow mit Ventilator. Wir bekamen Besuch von Ameisen, Geckos & Tausendfüßler (aber ich denke das ist normal in Thailand / Mitten in der Natur ) :) Wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit: die Anlage über dem Waschenecken ist unvorteilhaft angebracht da man sich schwer waschen kann. Trotzdem würden wir es weiterempfehlen, aber eher ein Bungalow mit AC. Und einen Roller sollte man sich auf jeden Fall mieten. Im Süden ist nicht all zu viel zu sehen .

Happy Patty, Jill und Egon sind immer gut gelaunt und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr sauber. Schöne Terrasse. Restaurants, Strand, Pier und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, alles gut erreichbar.

This place made our stay!”
While we stayed at the Coconut Garden, pretty much every guest here extended their stay, including ourselves. That in itself should tell you just how great this place is. We had booked four nights and stayed for a week (but could well have stayed longer). Jill and Egon, the Dutch owners are recently friendly, open and energetic, always with a smile and a laugh and would immediately see to all our wishes. Their Thai manager, Patty, is a darling, as well, and between those three no requests or wishes were left open. The accommodation, although only open for six months, does not have the feeling of a work in progress. The bungalows are very comfy (the beds are a tad hard, but that's the same in all of Thailand), the recently installed pool is great and good place to hang out in the evening, and the whole place has a peaceful quality to it. Coconut Garden is situated at the southern end of Koh Chang, so expect the songthaew (shared "taxi") that takes you there from the ferry to charge a bit more (150 Baht/person). Apart from heavier traffic between 08:00 and 09:00 a.m. due to all the diving and snorkelling tours leaving from the pier down South, it's very peaceful here. There's a cheap restaurant and a great sunset spot around the corner, as well as Tranquillity Beach, which we preferred to Lonely Beach or any beach further north.

Perfect stay!!! ”
We really enjoyed our stay in „small Our little house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the jungle noises in the night, delicious breakfast,.. Jill and Egon were the best hosts: always friendly, interested and helpful! Ist was a pleasure meeting them. First we wanted to stay 3 nights. In the end it was sad leaving after 6 nights.

Exzellent”
Planned to stay there for one day, but decided to take extra day. Owners are extremely friendly and from the very beginning you feel welcomed. They have managed to arrange trips and speed boat transfer to another island. Rooms are clean and cozy, they have an amazing swimming pool. Would come back once again definitely. The best accomodation on Koh Chang”
Absolutely the best accomodation that you can go to in Koh Chang! The friendly, open-minded and lovely hosts Jill and Egon made our stay there perfect. I can totally recommend to stay at Coconut Garden! The pool is really nice and the rooms beautiful and very clean.

Just wonderfull”
We have spend the covid time there. What'a perfect place to stay sticks in ! Swimming pool, pool table, pecfect bungalows... And the owner are very flexible and friendly. We felt like at home in better 😊. Kiss the dogs for us ones you her there and enjoy !

An island gem!”
A wonderful gem in an ideal location, only a 20 minute walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants and shops. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and make delicious food on site. Just wish I could have stayed longer! Many thanks from Canada :)

Lovely Retreat, Lovely Couple ”
Hosts Egon and Jill will take care of you at Coconut Garden. They both really make you feel welcome and their hospitality shines as you begin to get settled in. They both went out of their way to answer any questions and they provided solid advice on how to maximize your time on the island. There are so many things to do. Koh Chang is an intriguing island and you won’t go wrong staying with Egon and Jill. Without hesitation we would recommend CG and hope to stay here again.

Home away from home”
If you are looking for a friendly staff, a nice location away from the busy party beaches, and good vibes just go for it! We booked for 3 nights but ended up stayed for 7 nights 😊 Jill and Egon are building a really nice place and the restaurant is now open. Just go for it

I really enjoyed my stay at Coconut Garden. Everyone was super friendly, relaxed and welcoming, i really felt at home.. It’s in a quiet area away from all the crowds, but with a scooter you are within 5-10 minutes ride from several nice beaches. It’s also walking distance from bang bao pier and a handful of restaurants with cheap, tasty food.

Personal warm hosts”
Our two families with young kids enjoyed our 4 days stay. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and also give guests space. We enjoyed the pool and the community space and the mini porches on the cabins. We also appreciated that they gave one round of bottles in the rooms and offered free water from large containers to minimise plastic consumption. We could order Breakfast which started at 8:30 am and was delicious. Highly recommends his place for simple accommodation, quality for your “dollar” and a memory experience.

Nice people, smiling, helping taking care. Nice place if you look for a quiet place in the Island, except the wild dogs no noise at all. The staff is always smiling and the breakfast is good.

Très bon accueil, endroit tranquille ”
L’accueil par le couple à qui appartient les petites chambres sur pilotis est très sympa. Ils sont serviables et on sent une bonne ambiance général. Les chambres sont simples et les lits ont des moustiquaires. La piscine est un plus. La seule chose qui manque est peut être un petit frigo dans la chambre.
