good location
Hotel name is difference as we booked. Like the location, convenience and many shops and restaurant around. Cleanliness still need to improve.

Good rooms, bad service and the hotel is still under development
First of all, one needs to realize that this hotel is basically still under development, especially the restaurant part and other small hiccups. Secondly I am a foreigner living in India since last 16 years so I am used to loads of stuff and am not picky. The rooms are good and I went for the Super Deluxe room with breakfast. Reception staff hardly looks at you and gives you a smile. Upon arrival there were no bath towels in the room so I requested some. After 4 hours still no towels. Had to go down to the reception to request once more. Why I had to go down? There was no instruction book in the room how to contact the reception nor there was a menu card. Two basics for every hotel in the world. Also there were no tea or coffee provisions in the room along with a water kettle. A requirement for a deluxe room nowadays. Most awful for 2 days there was no warm water! And since its monsoon the water is freaking cold. The second day I ended up taking bucket bad with warm water provided from the kitchen. Super Deluxe room with bucket bath ;) Thanks to the staff to provide at least warm water somehow. After the second day I put up the sign for my room to be cleaned after I left for the day. After returning the room was not cleaned. The restaurant area is not finished and I was sitting all alone having breakfast in a rather sad environment. The breakfast timings are from 8 to 10 AM but when I reached by 9.45 AM the whole place was already cleaned up and there was no staff visible. The manager shouted something and the process started. Was having burned toast that day. Every day there are power cuts, as in up-to 4 or 5. They do have a generator which switched on immediately but the Videocon cable needs to restart each time. Another thing is that they kept calling me to order for dinner around 10 PM. If I wanted to order I would call myself isn't it? So overall it seems to me that the first hotel, as in the original 'The Metropole' is more successf

We booked two rooms for 3 nights.We were pleasantly surprised by the qaulity of room and services . It is centrally located. Would highly recommend.

A leisure Family trip...
The Stay was comfortable.. Need to look into cleanliness and hygiene aspect. South Indian food should also be a part of dinner menu. In all, great stay - Value for money.

Nice Stay
The new building of Phase II was excellent accommodation - both space and comfort. Staff in general was nice. However, the front desk was hostile. They started explaining to the guest about payment issues between Agoda and the hotel, which should have been avoided. It appeared that the front desk manager felt like each customer is giving him trouble by landing there. No smile, always busy, confused or tense, keeping people wait and arrogant in expression. Otherwise every thing was excellent.
