Valentine's day escape
The hotel was amazing! Beautifully decorated, very clean, very high standards, the staffs was extremely nice and respectful. The only drawback was the shuttle between the airport and the hotel. Although it was very nice to have it, it comes only at precise times, so you might have a lot of waiting.

Lovely Hotel but too Far
The hotel trikingly designed and furnished. .it is a new building inside the shell of an old factory, terrible non-views of a yet to be refurbished factroy surrounded by rubble were compensated by the electic skylight in the room. The hotel is located on Murano which is a lovely, quiet island but it is far from the centre of Venice and hard to get to, even though the hotel staff assure you it will only take ten minutes to get to San Marco. This is only partly the case, if you fight your way through the the intense tourist crowds in the busiest part of town. The hotel is also supposed to have its own taxi but we found this hard to book as it can only take six people. When we did succeed in booking it to get to Santa Lucia station to get a train early one morning, the route was circuitious and we were deposited in an odd spot that required crossing a bridge with luggage, not exactly door-to-door service. The breakfast service at the hotel was disappointing too, with a stroppy maitre'd who seemed to think we were his subordinates rather than guests. The serving staff were rushed off their feet, there was a general air of impending doom in the breakfast room so we skipped it on the second morning of our stay.

Don't book for the gym facilities
The hotel advertises a gym if you believe one running machine and a few weights constitutes a gym then that's it! The gym is only open from 7-10am in the morning and in the evening from 7-9pm which you have to book. You are also charged 10 euros to use the facilities in the evening. This was a disappointment as my partner uses the gym daily. The rooms are lovely and clean however the aircon doesn't appear to work and the rooms are very warm. Having opened the doors to the room this resulted in my partner and I getting bitten by mostquitos. The area is quite however this worked perfectly for my husband and I. The river shuttle runs regularly from the hotel to Venice however be aware that you need to book the shuttle to avoid disappointed.

Beautiful and peaceful
Free shuttle was a great service. Rooms and staff were excellent. Nice sauna and steam room. Opt for the breakfast when booking. Meals are expensive in the resturant, as they are in Italy generally. Lovely little gelato spot less than 2 mins away. It was luxurious and my partner and I were sad to leave. I would return!

The room was smaller than what we expected, we paid 190 euro per night but breakfast was not included. A bit far from Venice, was a bit tiring to travel back and forth by ferry everyday.We regret that we did not pick a hotel in Venice. We had a coffee in their cafe just in front of the hotel and it was horrible, very watery. I thought I was drinking just milk mixed with water.The worst coffee ever! And the attitude of one of Indian waiter was also horrible, he was not smiling at all, just felt like we were bothering him. They have sky TV in the room which has a few of English channels and I think this is the only good thing about this hotel.

La Gare Hotel Murano
Beautiful Hotel, plenty of lounges and quiet rooms.
Very pleased with the stay. We were automatically upgraded to an exec room which was a real treat. Great to have the launch but you will need to book in advance for transfers etc.

Best hotel in Murano!!
Fantastic location, brilliant staff and the hotel boat service is #1. You are made to feel like rock stars. Hotel is extremely clean and ultra comfortable
Our stay was fantastic. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and very friendly. Our room is perfect and very comfortable. The wifi is an added bonus to an already fantastic hotel. The hotel speed boat...what a way to travel but in great style - we feel like rock stars. The drivers are very polite and look after you extremely well. The buffet breakfast goes beyond our expectations and the dining experience in the out door pavilion just adds to the positive experience. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Hotel
transportation, location and staff
It was an excellent stay esp for those who prefer to be away from the crowd at grand canal. This hotel is located at an island call Murano. The ferry to main island of venice is right at the foot of the hotel(Museo ferry Station). Breakfast is alright. We get the best of Murano which is known for the top quality glass productions. Transportation aft 8pm to the hotel is a bit tricky so be sure to find out from the staff coz we end up walking in the silent street past midnight. Overall we enjoyed the stay in this hotel. They even provide us with a water taxi ride to the airport. Wonderful experience.
