Booked superior rooms, while we booked superior ocean view rooms, we were given standard rooms. I want agoda to pay my money back for spoiling our vacation n even listing such crooks on their site. When checking out, we were told we do not have breakfast as a part of the deal while agoda website states otherwise. The hotel even refused to accept that the pictures shown on Agoda are true. I think this speaks volume about credibility of agoda.

Disappointing - ”
We had booked 3 rooms as we were travelling with parents and in laws.. This is the 3rd time i am staying in Mascot, never i faced such bitter experience. While we were checking in, they said, they had only 2 rooms available and the 3rd one is getting ready and we moved our luggage to both the rooms. After 4pm, we did not get the 3rd room, to our shock, the owner Mr.Jitendra told us that there are no rooms available now, the hotel is overbooked.. Now, what are we supposed to tell this guy, he had the audacity to tell us literally to go and sleep in the car or find another hotel. Everyone who checked in on 24-June-2017 would have faced one or the other issue. After lot of discussion, they gave as a room on the first floor, and the next day we shifted to ground floor. The owner was not even speaking to us in a good manner, zero customer service, the staff were a bit better.. Besides that, the room number 404, the last room in the ocean view section had a nasty stink of drainage.. wonder what it was, but avoid checking in to that room. pathetic. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained, its aged, needs renovation.. doesnt justify the pricing with the condition of the room. I would not recommend this place to anyone.. if anyone wants only the view from the room, then go for it.. a few good things about the hotel, is its location and the view from the benches.. There may be better places nearby.. not sure.. but this place is not unique.. A word for the owner, please understand that we paid to you and are not asking to stay for free at your home.. the way you treated us and others were very unprofessional. You may have a big bungalow nearby and have lots of money, but learn to speak to your guests... If you are there, this would be Mascot Beach Lodge pretty soon.. Leave it to the staff, they can handle it.. Good bye Mascot Lodge... it was a pity that i chose to stay here. Show less Room Tip: Avoid Room number 404 - Drainage stink..

very grt n refreshing location, just on a cliff n u can hear waves hitting t shore, rooms nice n spacious. staff is ok but restaurant service is really slow and bad.

Excellent location and well maintained Resort”
It's a well maintained properly located within Defense area. Situated on an elevation, overlooking Arabian Sea, the resort is close to most of the attractions like St. Angelo Fort, Payyambalam Beach and Light House. Food served in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. They also encourage candle lit dinner at the open area outside, facing the sea, at no extra cost. Polite staff, good room service and clean environment make this Resort very special. Worth a second visit.

Great Stay with some bad experiences.Still need some improvements”
Been to this resort last week for a bachelor party of my friend.We were a group of 10.There was an unexpected strike the day we reached kannur .Still managed to get to hotel by auto.We booked 3 Deluxe rooms with extra beds.Our room was not ready when we reached and they gave us a temporary room with sea view.They promised to give us our room after 3 hours.As it was strike we planned spend the day in resort itself.Room was clean and provided with tea maker, Mineral water and bathroom toiletries.swimming pool is well sited with a lone cashew tree giving it a great look with sea as a backdrop.we had a lot of fun in pool.After e came from pool our rooms were still not ready and it was very difficult for us to fresh up after coming from pool.Then we contacted Mr Karthik and he said it will be ready in an hour.Till then he asked us to use another temporary room.We did not accept that and asked for our booked rooms.After some argument and 15 min later our rooms were ready.rooms were ok but not very spacious.At the night we had to call house keeping for our extra beds.This should have provided earlier.The best part of the hotel is, perhaps, the pool. My friends and I made full use of it to relax.The resort location is such that all places of interest like fort and beaches are easily accessible.it is not actually a beach like you would think, you cannot access it, because the hotel is sitting on a cliff above the rocks that beach the sea. you can climb down if you are daring, but it is dangerous and not safe for swimming.Please improve the menu.The staff in general were very friendly and helpful, although there was some communication problems, it was OK.

Excellent Experience”
Amazing location where you can spent your weekend. Located at the Baby beach, Friendly staff, good food and facilities like pool with kids pool. Very close to other attractions like light house, park and payyambalam beach. Food lovers can freak out in near by restaurants like Ondens Hotel (Or Odhens Hotel), Shahib's Grill Kitchen and Cita Pani.

Locatoin is AWESOME. Resturant food WASTE, less menu and HIGHLY priced. ”
1. Hotel Location is AWESOME 2. Food is less BELOW average & very less options for veg/non veg. Food quality & price is also not at all acceptable. 3. Nice clean swimming pool. 4. All sea view rooms are not as excepted. Sea view rooms near restaurant takes away your privacy during day time and as well as evening with annoying exhaust and generator sound. 5. Rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with all needed interiors. 6. Prompt staff & reception.
