“Not-So-Nice Beach Bungalows”
Well, where to start? We had booked one of the three bungalows with sea view. The price was rather high, we figured because of the supposedly nice view. It turned out that the sea was rather far away and the view we could enjoy was the huge number of tents that were installed right before our porch. It seemed like the resort was more interested in those tents and the paying backpackers that stayed in them. While tents were made every day, our bungalow wasn't even swept once during the three nights we stayed. That was honestly also never done in any other place we stayed in SEA in two months, but here we found it a bit funny because it was stated in the description. The bungalow itself was nice and spacious, but nothing remarkable considering the high price. There was a light bulb right before our bungalow to lighten up the tent area that was so bright that we effectively never used our porch when it was dark. They have a generator running at night for the power supply which makes sleeping difficult, even when using ear plugs. There are many cashew trees growing in the resort, which are nice to look at, but make for an unpleasant smell of rotting fruit and resulting in so many fruit flies all over the place that you better made sure not to leave any food anywhere. The nicest thing to say about the staff is that they were indifferent. There was never a hint of a smile though and orders in the restaurant were regularly mixed up. The food you order for dinner and lunch was very basic, rather tasteless and certainly not worth the elevated prices. We'd recommend eating at either of the two restaurants just past the Coconut Beach Resort where food is as pricey but better and people are actually really nice. Nice Beach Bungalows is the only place that offers WiFi on Coconut Beach and the connection is actually very good. This, however, makes for a not-so-chatty atmosphere on the beach as all the Facebook-addicted backpackers are so busy staring into their smartphones rather

“Best value for money when sleeping in a tent.”
Great location on Coconut beach with nice area to hangout. In my opinion the best place in the area if you want to sleep in a tent and wake up on the beach with the sound of the ocean. Staff is also very friendly. The beach itself is nice (and I think this place has the best part right in front of them), but there is not much to do here. Nice place to chill out though!

“Picture perfect location ”
Located on a beautiful beach with plenty of comfy beach chairs on the shade so you can relax right on the beach. Sea view bungalow was fantastic value for money. Only downside was they had no record of our booking through Agoda and this seemed to happen to a few other people who arrived during our stay resulting in over bookings. Family run business is very nice but need to be more organised. Otherwise a wonderful stay.

“Awful place. Avoid coconut beach like the plague”
And definitely avoid 'nice' beach bungalows. The beach needs cleaning, it's so remote it's hard to get to and hard to get away when you want to leave. We left a day early because it was awful. The tents are nothing like the pictures, they are all on top of one another. There are no sun loungers on the beach and none in the surrounding area. There are a few soft chairs but not enough for everyone at the resort. We have stayed at much nicer beaches and would defo avoid this one. It costs $20 each way for a long tail boat from the main pier on the island, and they still try to rip you off!!! Don't go, go to Phu Quoc instead

“nice beach bungalow”
I love this place, but the food menu is very limited and take time. I think they need more staff who can speak English a bit. because when our boat couldn't depart in the pier because of the weather, they didn't help us to go to another pier....nobody speak English...not even a sign...so how we could find another pier? i know the owner was busy to handle another guests...I understand that...I hope they can be better with their service. and they need more bathroom :)

“It was OK”
My stay was okay, but I felt the price expensive for just a tent on the beach. Coconut Beach itself is amazing and I loved it here. But there is very little communication about getting here, and about leaving. My tent was comfortable but I felt very unsafe when one of the guys came into my tent at 11pm when I was laying there, indecent, with no warning! I had to YELL before he left me to cover myself appropriately and find out what he wanted! No apologies or even awareness from the staff about how rude, disrespectful and inappropriate it was to just go into my tent! There are also only 2 bathrooms, each with a shower. My second night they added more tents and the next morning I waited an hour to use the toilet. Ordering food felt like I was being a nuisance or a bother, and the second night the entire beach was so full of locals who descended from nowhere that barely any food was left and no service was to be had whatsoever. I suggest a different island for your pristine getaway.

“Sleeping in the tent.”
We stayed for couple of nights there and were sleeping in the big tent. First night was raining,so part of our mattress got wer from the floor, but it wasn't dramatic as you won't avoid humidity in the tent by the sea anyway. The shared shower and toilet was clean, really no problem. The place itself is really nice, beach is paradise!! You open your eyes in the morning and you see palm trees and crystal clear water like 20meters away from your tent. The tent was big, covered from the rain, had fan inside and even you can use light! In coconut beach isn't much to do,so I would say 2-3nighs is enough cuz later would be boring. Stresless place tho, without tourists annoying sellers. Loved it! Take a boat trip where they bring you to long beach-rated as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!! It's untouched paradise on earth:)

“Perfect island life”
We stayed in a tent for 3 nights. Originally could not make the dates of the booking as we were struck by food poisoning and unfit to go on a boat. They were more than happy to rearrange the booking for us. Sleeping in the tent was honestly the best sleep we had since our travels. The meals were cheap and deliciously cooked - home style. The family that run the place are very nice. Coconut beach itself is wonderful if looking to escape from tourist, only 3 other resorts and "restaurants" on the beach.
