Das Hotel war zwar ganz zufriedenstellend. Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr zentral (gleich neben dem Taksim-Platz) und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl wir mitten in der Nacht gelandet sind und noch nie zuvor in Istanbul waren, haben wir uns gut zurecht gefunden. Die Stadt ist gut organisiert was den Flughafentransfer betrifft. Es gibt einen Bus vom Flughafen ins Stadtzentrum (fährt zum Taksim-Platz, Kosten 12 türkische Lira). Das Zimmer war beim Eintreffen sehr sauber, aber leider hielt sich die Sauberketi nicht so perfekt. Obwohl das Hotel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhltnis aufweist, würde ich es nicht nochmal buchen. Das lieget aber daran, dass ich mir das nächste Mal ein Hotel mit Wellness-Bereich suchen würde. Das Hotel Nippon ist eher ein Buisness-Hotel. Es finden dort viele Tagungen statt und der Hauptteil der Gäste sind Geschäftsleute. Zur Verpflegung und sonstigen leistungen kann ich mich nicht äussern, da wir nur Übernachtungen gebucht haben und uns ausserhalb des Hotels verpflegt haben.

Everything is perfect here. Rooms are clean & spacious. Staff really wants to take care of you. I think one should not look for another hotel. It was the best hotel I ever stayed in my travelling.

Rude front desk staff and unjustified additional charges ”
This is my second stay in this hotel which was totally different than the first. Now they have new untrained staff, unprofessional front desk staff with so rude behavior, housekeeping will knock the door once and directly open the door, I requested a double bed but they gave me two single beds attached to each other which harmed my back, the hotel and the rooms are not sound proofed which makes you hear all other rooms and every one walk or talk in the corridors which was OK if there are not that much people keep talking and selebrating in the corridors in front of my door, they tried to charge me unjustified additional charges which I rejected. Breifly, if you look to ruine your holiday, this hotel is the best choice. Unfortunately, it was totally different efore two years but as usual it is all about management.

Good location with highly service staffs”
I have stayed for 3 night meeting. Location is very convenient. However everything is expensive in Taksim. The staffs are really nice with me . Nancy lend me a Istanbul kart to use. But when I ask to buy, one male staff overprice me for 20 trl immediately. Actually I do not like the overpricing here which occur frequently especially in airport and Taksim. Pls care your tourists.

Stayed 2 nights there. It was worth staying there. The location is excellent, the room was nice and clean, the gym was super nice, staff was very supportive and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Please Do Not chice this Hotel. Horrible and Rude staff. The do not listen to any request. I had booked from AGODA for two people. On check inn a Lady named Sulen told me that i have a booking for 1 person so thay wanted to charge me for my wife stay but when i showed her the copy then she kept quiet and issued me the key cards . When the could not the get extra money they gave me a horrible room and a non smoking room which i had not requsted. Daily free Mini was not given against repeated requested . I had no choice as i had booked a non-refundable booking even i had called Agoda for help but they could not do anythig. Leave this hotel and spend your money somewhere else

This is 2rd time for me to stay with Nippon hotel, just for 1 night for transit going back to Bangkok, the staff always nice , breakfast very good ,if you have metro card you want to return and get your deposit money back, you can give it to reception they will give you deposit money back. the room was nice big bed, very clean very organize. i am very happy with Nippon hotel , and for sure ,If i travel to Istanbul again i will choose Nippon hotel, and if i see Nippon hotel in any where while i travel i will pick Nippon hotel as my second home.
Visiting Istanbul Taksim area ”
It was very good hotel in the right center of Istanbul easy to find food, night light pubs bars and restaurants, and day time tours , the hotel look nice and clean the fitness fully good equipments. All staffs were nice polite, very good breakfast.
Hotel staff was not very helpful and tried to take advantage of you every chance they got. Management really need to hire new staff or retrain the current one because it is not right to treat hotel guests as opportunities to make a few bucks, even if it is is slow season now.

Nippon Hotel is located near Taksim Square within walking distance to the Metro station. Rooms were more than adequate, e.g., spacious, has a mini fridge, good bath/shower, free wifi, The only negative that I had was that the staffs at front desk tried to rip me off every chance they got. I did not know where to buy the Metro card (the ones that could be recharged as they are cheaper than buying single pass tickets), and asked the front desk. The staff told me they could buy one for me and asked for 25 liras (10 for the card, 10 for credits and 5 as a deposit to be refunded when I return the card). It turns out that the card only costs 10 liras (6 for the card, with 4 liras as credit). I ust needed to know where to buy the card, and did not need the hotel to buy one for me, but they refused to answer my question. Also, when I asked how much it costs for taxis to go to airport, again, they refused to answer my question and quoted me a price for a private car for 90 euros (it turns our taxis costs about 40-50 liras depending on traffic). Management needs to provide training to the staff to ensure that hotel guests are treated valued guests, and not opportunities for the staffs to make a buck. Other than this, no other complaints. So if you are one that is able to find all information about traveling in Istanbul on your own, such as through the internet, this should not be a problem for you and I would highly recommend the hotel. If you are, like me, a first time visitor to Istanbul and need the hotel staff to help provide a few pointers, I highly suggest you choose a different hotel.
Good location, spacious room, walls not soundproof”
The room is spacious, housekeeping is excellent but walls are not sound proof you can be disturbed by the noise from outside your door or next to your room especially if they are noisy. Otherwise, we will use the hotel in future.
Great Recommended Hotel”
Nippon is highly recommended for business travellers, it offers free internet, free business center, the staff speaks good english, the breakfast is amazing, and the beds are super comfy. I really recommend this hotel, it's 2 min away from Havtas, the airport shuttle, and 5 min away from Taksim Metro station.
