Great location and facilities”

Great apartments with short drive into Wanaka central and Cardrona Ski Resort. Excellent pools and hot tubs, quality restaurant meals and apartment servicing, loved the Spa massage and helpful reception staff.

Exzellent”

The staff were friendly and caring. lovely room with everything you could ask for. Great heating for winter. Love the pools and spa the reason I return to Oakridge nearly every time for over the past 10 years. My only negative is the lack of ambience in the restaurant and bar. Shame they closed the upstairs. Just add a fireplace and some lounges. It would make such a difference. Perhaps the house guests might be more inclined to spend their $ instead of going down the road. Pina colada was good.

Fabulous and fantastic”

Everything was amazing- we stayed here over Christmas. The stove/oven was an added bonus so we could cook Christmas supper. The staff were helpful, the rooms were impeccably clean and the hot pools were an added bonus. Would stay again no questions asked!

Home away from home ”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mecure! It was a definite bonus having our own vehicle as the hotel is not close to the core area. However, the hotel was absolutely perfect! Having the kitchen facilities- with a full oven was a huge bonus for cooking Christmas dinner. The hotel room was clean and the hot tub pools were an added bonus after long days of hiking. We would definitely stay here again! Pros: - clean, spacious rooms - kitchen facilities - great outdoor space - pool - laundry facilities in room!!! Cons: - no air con - limited TV channels - if that matters - no wifi without $$, which I've learned is a NZ thing

Excellent hotel for Couples”

the hotel room is big and clean with a nice balcony for chillout. the best feature of the hotel is hot pools. there are 2 heated pools and there are about 5 private hot tubs. excellent for us since we spent our days snowboarding in cardrona and returned with sore muscles.

Great Hotel even though a bit far from the Lake”

Nice room with a nice view toward the mountains. Room is clean, heating equipment is complete. Really like enjoying a five star hotel for a 3 star hotel price. The only weaknesses of the hotel is the location is 3 km from the Wanaka Lake, so you will not be able to enjoy the lake view which is the main icon of the city.

Lovely modern hotel”

the hotel has a nice view and provides everything you need. the room is also very clean and quite big. if you are lucky, you will get a nice view of the lake. it's also very convenient to go anywhere from the hotel.

Old and ramshackle ”

The once nice resort has aged and is not clean. Black mould is creeping up the tiles in the bathroom. Bedroom wasn‘t made and towels had not been changed on our second day when we returned sticky from tramping in the afternoon. Had to claim it at reception. After having dinner in their restaurant we awoke both with diarreha. Sorry, can not recommend it.

Glassy door without curtain”

The door of the room is made of glass. Though people can't see us from outside. Outdoor light passed through it and so we couldn't get into sleep. If there were thick curtain blocking the light, it would be much better.

Great accomodation and facilities. ”

Very nice room. Comfortable, large bed with good shower room. Very nice staff that were accomodating to us being their early. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and found the drinks very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Wanaka.

A lovely short stay in Wanaka ”

A wonderful complex of apartments, immaculately kept, and with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. A little too far to walk into town, but just a short 5 minute drive, this hotel provided us with the perfect respite that we needed after hiking around the beautiful trails in Wanaka. Thank you to all!

Fantastisch”

Did miss having air con in the room. And real coffee facilities like a plunger. For the price and the distance from town. (not walking distance!) I expected that. But the swimmingpool and sauna made up for it.

Lovely place to stay”

We loved the spacious suit. All very clean and every detail was thought of. We also loved the warm pools and outside spa's. They were so relaxing after a long days driving. The receiption staff were very friends. A pleasure to deal with.

Exzellent”

This is a lovely motel in an excellent location. Our only problem was with the WiFi which did not work well. Also our room phone was not working and when we reported it we were told someone would look at it the next day. Then a friend tried to contact us urgently and we were not given any message.

Ok for what you pay”

We loved the hot pools and spa pools. The staff on arrival and bar staff were helpful and friendly. Location was quite far out, would only recommend staying if you have a car. The walls in our room ("Guest Room") were paper thin. We could hear EVERYTHING our neighbours were doing. The room was fairly clean, hotel grounds were clean and well kept.

OK”

Room wasn't as good as we expected. TV was placed in a strange spot, no cable TV, had to pay for wifi. Restaurant food was average, restaurant service excellent staff were wonderful throughout the hotel, it is in a convenient location and has a fantastic pool area equipped with a number of spas which are nice and hot!

Stay was great ”

After we were upgraded... The staff seem to be aware of the faults in some of the rooms but we're very helpful in sorting out another room. For a good experience book a minimum of King one bedroom apartment.

Would have scored more for cleanliness except for a discarded takeaway food carton & some contents outside our room staircase access still there on Sunday when we left after being dropped on Friday night.

Slightly away from the centre of town”

Hotel is away from the main street. The area around the hotel is quiet but you need to drive to the town's restaurants. The rooms don't have free wifi but you can get limited free internet access at the reception area.

In Wanaka for a wedding ”

Fabulous. We were able to get a late check out at short notice, we were upgraded at no cost and checking in and out was hassle free. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.
