Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean studio room had everything we needed. Slept very well. We absolutely enjoyed our massage from Alex definitely one of the best we've had. Enjoyed the location had a lovely walk down to the lakes edge. Friendly people very welcoming. Highly recommended for sure :)

Absolutely loved staying at Peak-Sportchalet! We had everything we needed for our short stay; eco store body products, a small but well equipped kitchenette, and information on nearby attractions. All just a short drive from the center of Wānaka! Our hosts were lovely and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

We were meet by the owners on arrival and given local suggestions of things to do considering the inclement weather. The fire place was cozy to sit next to at night and the heating in the bathroom was exceptional with a little added indulgence of warmed tiles. Highly recommended.

Alex, the host has been wonderful. His establishment would set the standard for all to follow.... We were very impressed with all the facilities and privacy provided by him. The chalet is worth every penny, I must say. Thank you Alex for sharing your home with us. Should we ever come back this way, we would certainly take up you place any day.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. You can choose their breakfast (nice hot coffee and homemade bread and spreads, cereal, yogurt and variety of fruits) if you are lazy to go out.

Charming cozy unit”
This accommodation is located in quiet residential area, a short drive to town center and lake wanaka. The unit was clean, equipped with hot plate for cooking, microwave, fridge and books if you would like to read. Owners were welcoming and provided us with information for wanaka.

Great stop off for us en route to Queenstown ”
Very clean and comfortable stay in Wanaka to break up the journey from Franz Josef to Queenstown. Very friendly and welcoming hosts with basic supplies and some delicious home made banana bread. The driveway is tight and the accommodation cosy for four people. No washing facilities and the toilet blocks access for 2nd bedroom to lounge/kitchen when in use. On the whole a comfortable nights stay and great hosts. Couldn't believe how busy the town was, but now we've seen Queenstown maybe it wasn't. I think we've been spoilt on our journey down from the north so far. Recommended place to stay though, scenery is spectacular.

Very cosy home, hosted by warm and helpful owners! Clean and beautiful to live in. Hosts are sports avid, provides good advice for trekking and biking! better to be driving up, 2.4KM from heart of town. But the walk along the lake home is scenic. #worth
