I had been initially worried about the distance from the Pub Street, but it turned out to be the best choice because Pub Street is loud all night. Here in this clean hotel you can expect a good night sleep. Besides, the local transportation Tuktuk is cheap (2 dollars) and the hotel would treat you the first leg of the trip to the town centre. The restaurant where we dined three times offered reliable comfort food of Cambodia. My personal favorite was the morning noodle and the fried spring rolls. You can also receive good treatments inside the spa room. The spa staff would come from the city centre if you booked 4 hours in advance. Everyone from the reception were attentive that made our visit memorable.最初はパブ通りから遠いので心配していましたが地元の交通手段のTuktukは2ドルと安いし、片道はホテルが無料で提供してくれます。結果的には夜通しうるさいパブ通りから離れた分静かに眠れました。とても清潔でしたし、レストランで3回食事しましたが春巻きはリピートしましたし朝食の麺も私は気に入りました。スパがホテル内で受けられるのですが、街中にある人気スパから出張でスタッフが来てくれるのでレベル高いマッサージがホテルをでることなく受けられたのはポイント高しです。受付係の人達の一生懸命なアテンドを受けて素晴らしい滞在になりました

Beautiful, thoroughly enjoyable stay”
When we first arrived to check in, we were given a refreshing welcome drink along with a bowl of yummy banana chips and asked to sit on their comfortable settee in the lobby area. The people who work here are so incredibly friendly, especially Kim, who went out of her way to make our stay the best possible. Because it was our honeymoon, she kindly upgraded us to the beautiful Junior Suite and then she walked us to our room. She brought us in and we saw there was a curtain drawn to divide the room, upon opening it, we saw a stunning display of flower decorations all over the bed, with two towel swans meeting beak to beak creating a heart shape - it was spectacular and we were in awe of the efforts they took to make us feel welcomed and special. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and spacious. For breakfast, we had two vegetarian plates made especially for us because we are both vegan, so that was wonderful too. Everyone there is so kind and helpful, sharing a large smile each time you pass. The night before we left, Kim said she wouldn't see us the next day since we're leaving in the morning so told us she wanted to give us something. She then presented us with a traditional Khmer scarf that represents good fortune and happiness - what an extraordinary human being! Thank you, to Kim, Peter and all of the lovely staff at Popular Residence that truly made our stay special. We hope to return in the future!

Perfect Stay”
Our 4D3N stay at this hotel went by so quickly. Our cabana room was so beautiful, so fresh, and so clean! It was perfect. Everything in our stay was perfect. If we had a choice, we wouldn't have left but that would mean missing the beauty of Siem Reap temples. Very tempting. The best part of our accommodation (ans my husband agrees) is not the room though. It was the staff. They were all so warm and welcoming. They always greet people with smile, they were very attentive, they always ask if there is something that we need or if we have complaints, they were honest... They care about the comfort of their guests. They care too much that they probably are the most hospitable hotel staff we've ever encountered. It felt homey with the perks of luxurious service. We'll surely head back here if we go visit Siem Reap again. To Net and everybody else, we greatly appreciate your top of the line service. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable. Hope we will see you all again soon.

The staff really care”
This is a brilliant hotel; the rooms are large and the bed was so nice I drifted off and slept wonderfully. The reception staff really care; when I was coming down to dinner, I fell on the stairs and sprained my ankle. The young ladies at the front rushed to my aid and fetched ice and towels and did everything they could for me. They were apologetic even though it was my fault. I said, no, it's my fault I missed the step! (My new boots had slippery soles.) They even took my arms on their shoulders and helped me hop to the lounge and made sure that I was able to rest my ankle comfortably. Even though it was strained and not broken they were very concerned. They kept checking on me every few minutes for twenty minutes or so while I rested and iced my ankle. The next day I was walking much better, no doubt helped by a bit of stretching in the pool and a good night's sleep. The Popular Residence staff are so kind and helpful. The best hotel in the country, in my opinion.

The excellent hotelier”
We’ve been to a different hotels in SEA(Southeast Asia) but our recent hotel accommodations is beyond excellent or exemplary. I booked this hotel a month before our Siem Reap travel because of the reviews. And tried to booked 2nd 4star hotel in the area to make sure we are much more comfortable but the I decided to cancel the 2nd hotel because of the review. I stick to Populat residence hotel and It was all true that this hotel serves more than a 5 star hotels in the area and even the best hotel I’ve been too can get the best management and the customer service was beyond our expectations. We usually go by 3-5 star hotel bookings and usually we DIY and not to care the hotel staff and management as long as the room was fine. I worked before in a hospitality and customer service company but this hotel is a reflection of best CSAT or best Customer Satisfactions. We thank the hotel for the warmth accomdations and specially to the staff Net one of the staff who personally caters our needs in the hotel and gives us info in our tours and places to go around which helps us in our tour. She make sure our needs was taken care of. Like we havent pickup in the airport due to my email wasnt sent to them because of my mistake. The hotel provides us an early check in because we arrived early like 9:30am which is the hotel check-in at 2pm. They provide us breakfast food during our early sunrise of Angkor Wat just let them know. If you havent book your tour best is to settle with the hotel for more savings and no extra charges along the way(info@populartesidence.com).They provide us free tuktuk service back to airport as we missed the pickup due my email.(email was wrongly sent to other hotel which is my bad haha). We thank the hotel management and staff specially to Net who help us and give us the best hotelier experience in Siem Reap and to the surprise scarf. For us it makes the travel worth while not because of the places we’ve been to but the people in this hotel who is there

I have never been to a hotel that check in procedure so detail, receptionist is so friendly and nice. He explained antbirds the city, the offer from the hotel and even access the room to explain about the safe, fridge. It’s value for money when the hotel provide free pick up service, SIM card, Or one way to pub street. The chef is good too. Last day checked out Receptionist gave me a scarf as Birthday gift. Amazing to stay! Room is large, clean and filled with scenting (herb) very comfortable

Amazing Hotel”
My friends and I were so happy with our stay. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were so clean. They even arranged a car to pick us up at airport and drop us off at the bus terminal. We also loved the welcome drinks!!! The pool was so nice also, too bad we were not able to go swimming because of time constraint. But, we’ll surely recommend this hotel to my friends and would love to stay here when I visit Cambodia again. :)

Excellent, amazing staff and value ”
This was my husband and I’s favorite hotel experience since we started our travels 6 weeks ago. So much so, we extended twice. The front desk hospitality staff were beyond helpful, welcoming and easy to communicate with. We really appreciated Mr. Brown & Khim (who assisted us most) with arranging transportation. refilling our water bottles, & arranging our Angkor Archaeological Park tour. They also helped us with our Khmer :) Get the 3 day pass (which you have 10 days to use, so we took some days between “Temple Hopping” to relax at the hotel). We recommend touring by tuk-tuk everyday, especially if you are a travel couple or small friend groups of 4 or less. If you are thinking about it, go now. So much less tourist than normal. Mr. Brown, Khim and Tuk-Tuk driver, Punh, we highly recommend. Housekeeping was great and clean. The gym upstairs is super simple, but it’s a nice spot for the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was awesome, made to order off a fixed menu with small buffet.

I love the hotel, especially to their staff so approachable and most of all they accommodate us very well. Don't hesitate to contact them if you have some question before your visit they well respond thru email and messenger. Big thanks to Daniel (Skaly Meng on Facebook) maybe his the Manager of the hotel, they surprise me because that time is my birthday, I appreciate it very much. The rooms were clean and spacious. The tub was amazing! Never been in a more comfortable bathtub😊 Long enough and deep enough...I wanted to take it home! The location was just far enough from the hubbub of toqn and close enough to get to everything quickly. Staff were very friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Welcoming Oasis with standout customer service”
I spent 5 nights here and found it to be a wonderful spot away from the noise of Siem Reap tourist center but just a short and convenient drive away. The facilities and room were great for an enjoyable stay (including stable and fast WiFi). What stands out at this hotel is the amazing customer service. All staff are friendly and pleasant but I’d like to highly commend Kaim who was always very attentive, helpful and kind. She went beyond to ensure I had a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was great with selection of fruits and bread. They even made me cappuccino which made me very happy. My choice of breakfast was always noodle with vegetables and the server remembers it makes me feel like home! The staffs were always there to welcome me when I came back and ask me if there's any problem. I would stay here again.

My favourite!”
We spent 4 nights here and loved every one of them! Our room was very clean, relaxing, roomy and comfortable. We found the bed firm but comfy and the pillows were perfect.The pool was a welcome relief after a hot dusty day of touring, and we used it every day. Breakfast was basic, but tasty and served with a smile. We were warmly welcomed to the hotel upon every return with refreshing towels, and tea. Such a lovely touch and so very appreciated. But the single most amazing thing was the staff!!! Ever one of those young staff members were incredible. Friendly, engaging, helpful, and always smiling....always! Thank you to Nich, Nya, John, Kihm, Trainee (Sovan), and everyone else. You have raised the bar!

Good time in Popular Residence”
We had a nice stay in Popular Residence. You get a lot for a very good price. The rooms are very clean, have enough space and a minimal design with wood and concrete which we really liked. The best at the hotel is the super friendly stuff who is always willing to help you if you have a probleme or when you need something. The hotel manager speaks very good English and the other staff members at the reception got an acceptable English too. We had bad luck with the time we stayed at the hotel because of construction noizes. But most of the day we were on the way. The manager apologized a lot for the noizes and on our departure he gave us a present. Breakfast was okay.

I am glad that I have chosen this hotel even though it is a little away from the city but they provide a one way tuk tuk so it’s really convenient. Personnels are all exceptionally great and thanks to all the staff I’ve never been so welcomed before. Being in the service line myself, I’m utterly impressed with the patience and hospitality of the staff and I will definitely return and recommend this to everyone staying in Siem Reap!

The driver PanLee was awesome and professional on our template tour. He really made our stay here very enjoyable. We had a very nice room poolside at this hotel and from beginning to end the hotel staff was some of the most accommodating I have ever met they made the whole stay for us off the beaten track more quiet yet easy to get into town but like I said the staff was some of the best I’ve been encountered We had a late bus to Phnom Penh and so we went Sightseeing and then came back to the hotel packed up our luggage on the tuk tuk and took off and I forgot my favorite cashmere pillow I travel with about half a mile down the road the driver stopped and the front desk man was chasing us down the road with my pillow so you can’t beat that for customer service Would highly recommend this property

The hotel itself is always spotless, the rooms are spacious, and restaurant is excellent. However, the highlight is the staff. We dealt with Khim and Mr. Brown more than the rest of the staff, though they were wonderful too. Mr. Brown is sure to succeed in his Hospitality studies, and proved that every time I came into contact with him at Popular Residence Hotel. The next time in Siem Reap I will definitely be back to see him and stay at this hotel again. Khim was also excellent at her job, and arranged all of our onward travels perfectly. There are numerous other perks, such as a free tuk-tuk into town every night, good tour-making facilities, and a complete understanding of the area and all it has to offer.
