Pukha Nanfa Hotel
Fabulous Traditional Hotel”
This hotel is a wonderful place for any stay in nan. It is sparkling clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated. The service is excellent, helpful and very friendly. We will be a returning customer this next year.
Good decoration inside.”
If you like to stay in wood house I will recommend this hotel. Feel Lanna style here. My room is small and compact but it has everything that I want. There has a lot of good books in library room. You can order a la carte breakfast from staff. Delicious one. The morning market just across the road! Borrow bicycle from hotel to explore this town is a good option too.
Very nice hotel”
Lovely looking hotel and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel at home. It's a small place and the rooms are nice but cozy. Good beds and good wi fi and the breakfast was ok but suited Asian visitors a bit more but glad we stayed.
A classic hotel with an interesting background. Once an old hotel, renovated to today's comfort, but still keep the old style feeling which is perfect for Nan city. I always stay at this hotel every time I go to Nan. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location. A little pricey but understandable as it is a quiet place. Breakfast is adequate; for the price it could have been better though.
Beautiful wooden hotel in the center of Nan”
We stayed three nights to do day trips around Nan province. The hotel is really beautiful and the bed comfortable. Breakfast choices are limited, but there are plenty of other places close to the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location, but small rooms and high price”
Great location, nice traditional designs, good food, but small rooms and high price. Rest room is very tiny, esp the shower area; you can hardly move around. Service in the restaurant is very good, but at the front desk is so-so, not impressive at all compared to the price I paid. Receptionists didn't even come out to say good bye to me at my car which was parked right in front of the lobby when I checked out even my family and I stayed there for 4 nights, occupying 2 rooms. There are many other nice hotels in the city centre where you can pay much less! No need to pay more to stay at this hotel unless you are really fond of traditional designs!
Beautiful teak buildings, nice local breakfast, but pricy ”
If you're looking for the place to bring you back to the old time, this is the place you have to stay. I did love the overall atmosphere of this old teak house as well as the decorations. The hotel offered savoury local breakfast which I really enjoyed. The price sounds a bit too high for me, but I would recommend you to try and hope you'll get good experience. :)
Spacious room, good staff, very good breakfast”
Vintage style building with Traditional interior. Well trained staff provides the impressive welcome
Valuable historical place but not pleasant staff”
Good location, nice and traditional place. Welcomed staff is not well professional and some staff is not so friendly. Staffs at the restaurant are so helpful. Telephone is not shown with internal dial number and the place is without elevator and you can imagine how we could communicate with hotel during our stay. We can see dusts on the telephone. Sorry to mention this but we are paying more than 4,000bht per night and of course, we expect some excellent services.
Varieties of choice for breakfast, superb service staff, lack of parking. Good for people looking for superior bed and breakfast.
last minutes booking and cheap but if I have more time would pay more for the other room..staff nice smile and of course the manager was lovely and too kind, very nice the other staff..in average , I may need more smiling... all in all good..
Two days at the Pukha Nanfa”
Our stay was enjoyable and we appreciated the traditional dark wood interior dating from about 100 years ago - it has been renovated. The senior desk person spoke excellent English and was very helpful, not much English spoken by other staff although they were all very welcoming. Coming in from the heat in late afternoon we would have liked a beer in the bar, but there didn't seem to be one open and we went to the Dheveraj hotel next door.
I like it but the room is too small.”
We enjoyed our stay here. The location is very good, close to the morning market and other interesting places. Our room is too small to be comfortable.Breakfast is fine but not extraordinary. No elevator therefore elderly people with knee problem may not like it. Anyway we like the atmosphere and may come back again.
Modern Hotel in ncient and well renovated house”
15 years ago we had last been to Nan and to this hotel. What a change! It has been renovated throughout, keeping the lovely atmosphere of the old times. We had all we needed, the rooms were clean and well appointed. And we were well taken care off by the staff who recommended restaurants, spas etc. All together it was a delightful break and we will be back.
Although the proper restroom in Nan was not easy to find, dropping by the hotel whenever you wish was a great benefit. Moreover, spare some times in the mini-library - lots of books and novel are waiting for you!
Beautiful, historic boutique hotel in town ”
this is truly one of the very best historic boutique hotels in northern thailand. the character of the 80-year old hotel has been retained, with added modern amenities. decor is lanna inspired and beautiful. service could not be better. located in the heart of the old town, just a block from the bustling morning market. breakfast is great ... but it would be nice if the restaurant were open for afternoon tea/coffee. an excellent experience.
Very charming hotel with smiling service”
Being in Nan for a few day stay, this hotel was a real surprise. Totally made of wood, the building is exceptionnally well maintained and clean. The breakfast is generous , with a wonderful service Parking is easy , in front or in a large parking on the backyard.
Beautiful old Thai style hotel”
The hotel has been renovated in 2011 and has truly captured the feeling of an old, classic Thai house. The owners did a great job keeping the traditional style alive. Very pleasant indeed and unexpected in such a remote area of Thailand. As I was the only person in the hotel the first night, they didn't put out the breakfast buffet, understandable, but let me choose whatever I wanted. The second breakfast was a small but sufficient breakfast. Because of the solar water heating system, it took a while for the hot water to come through. Overal this hotel at least deserves a visit, if you decide to stay elsewhere.
good heritage hotel and best service mind”
room had heritage style suit for couple and rest room separate between wet and dry so cute for design feel good to stay here is seem like home ka all staff have service mind can help customer in every thing that customer need. very good ka
newly renovated heritage hotel ”
The Hotel seem offering a most expensive room rate in the city though found the value not as worth. With limited on inhouse facilities compare to what the hotel promoted itself as a 4.5 property except a quiet reading corner and internet access. Car parking though is avaiable but most of time occupied by hotel vehicles so need to park it either along the street else where or next door hotel parking at Dhevaraj Hotel. Showered in cold water at all time though was told by the reception as the hotel apply use of solar heating system and may take a while, but honestly not reasonable after a 5 minutes running ans still never get any warm. Less choices for breakfast with little portion though found a straw nearby market a good fulfilling alternative. Most of all impress with what they have done to an old teak building but coming again to stay, would rather say no.
