Stayed for two nights, staff were excellent. Very nice room overlooking the front. Great swimming pool, nieces touches, keep serving you cool water and fresh fruit in the room. Beautiful bathroom. Would love to come back.

We stayed three nights here incjuding NYE. The experience overall was excellent - the attention to detail, level of surface and overall comfort in the middle of a hot and busy city. Although an older hotel, it’s highly maintained and the rooms very comfortable.

Colonial splendor”
This is our fourth year of spending time at Raffles and it still takes its place as our favourite place to stay. It is so relaxing as soon as you walk through the entrance and oozes understated luxury. The lobby gives a colonial feel that is echoed throughout with high ceilings, long drapes and beautiful antique statues and decoration. The rooms are comfortable and the elelphant bar is a fabulous place to relax and catch up with friends. Please bring back the draft beer in the mini yard glasses....they are so unique :)

A taste of luxury and history. This hotel boasts of its heritage which was worth every buck you spend. Although on the expensive side, one will definitely experience quiet relaxation while staying in this wonderful hotel. Staff were very hospitable and will definitely attend to your needs. Rooms were spacious with luxurious amenities and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was good but not exceptional.

Dated but the charm carries it through”
Stayed 3 nights, the place is run down and the bathroom shower leaked water as well as not draining properly. The whole place needs some serious capital investing to bring it back into shape. That said it still has the colonial charm and lovely staff. The breakfast is ok except for the annoying small black flies which is simply fixed by putting more fly gel trays out on evenings after closing to break the breeding cycle. I would stay again.
