The Best Place We Stayed During Our Vacation”
Of the three properties we stayed at during our vacation, the Railay Village Resort was absolutely the best. The location is excellent. There are no roads to Railay, so you must take a boat from one of the nearby piers. I made my transportation arrangements through the hotel, so they took care of the car and boat. I highly recommend doing that for ease. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Both pools are also beautiful, clean, and cool. The on-site restaurant has a nice variety of foods (mostly Thai with some western cuisine) and is very good. The breakfast buffet was also very good and had a nice variety of foods that rotated throughout the week. There are several other restaurants in short walking distance if you want something else. The sunsets and beaches are gorgeous. The hotel can arrange island tours and other recreational activities for you. I highly recommend a stay here!

Beautiful hotel steps from beach”
Would stay here again!! Our room was beautiful (pool access room, which was towards back of resort-farthest from beach, but around a huge beautiful pool). Huge bathroom and lots of towels. AC worked well. Problem with the hot water in our room on last day, but it was so hot we did not really care. Staff were very nice and polite, seemed happy whenever we encountered them. Breakfast has real espresso! Not always a thing in Thailand. And an omelet /egg station. Was perfect for us as we like to drink coffee and have a bit of breakfast while staring at the amazing Railay beach. Restaurant in front of beach. We did not eat there other than breakfast. They do not serve alcohol, but you can buy drinks from walking street steps away and bring with you. As far as picking a room, towards the back the pool is amazing, has an actual deep end and jets intermittently come on near some benches in pool. Either pool view (upstairs) or pool access would be fine. Our rooms connected with friends room next store with a lockable door. Only complaint is the bed was really firm, not unusual in Thailand, but one of the hardest of our 3 week trip.

Magnificent view from balcony of beautifully manicured garden pool, Thai style bungalow villas, and mountains. This was my favorite. The host was warm, very friendly, with nice hospitality. The room was spacious with nice Thai accents. I loved that there was both a shower and a bathtub. And you are just a few minutes’ walk down a lovely tropical garden path to the beach. Convenient access to the walking street with bars, restaurants, and massages, as well as the Railay East pier. Restaurant was nicely situated overlooking the beach and the ocean. It’s nice to watch the long tail boats come in each morning over breakfast. Just a nice setting. Breakfast buffet was a good effort with a good selection of both Thai and Western halal dishes. Try the Thai boat noodle soup, you’ll be glad you did! Based on other reviews, I almost didn’t come here, but I’m really happy I did. I think the hotel staff have really made an effort to improve service and the rooms. I would definitely stay here again

pros. walking street right next door, lots of stores,bars restaurants, easy access to speed boats on beach or dock 5 mins across island. you can walk anywhere to see sites. caves amazing views of rock cliffs,beach. rooms are big, nice shower bathroom, beds are firm..no soft beds here but slept good .deluxe pool room gives you a great swimming..relaxing area with lounger right outside your room.path to beach is jungle lush plant surroundings.staff is great,they all want to learn.more english so surprisingly they want you to speak more English than hearing you try to speak thai. cons: nothing really, breakfast is so so, but has enough to fill you up, omelets, pancakes,thai dishes,fruit and coffee cappuccino, ate at walking street every night, skunk bar had good food with a second story view, mangrove was the go to place, baked fish tuna snapper 350 baht was great, shrimp chick kabobs for 100 baht with salad. all good prices. india place across st great too #68 and flat bread try

Right on Railay”
We booked our transportation from the airport via the hotel and everything went smoothly. They were always detailed and responsive when we communicated via email. Our driver was waiting for us at the airport. He was patient, polite, and concise. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is right on the beach and the well maintained pool is a perfect alternative. Our room had the enclosed jacuzzi and it was fantastic. The only suggestion is the tv by the jacuzzi has no cable service. There is a DVD player, so a few random movie options would be a nice addition. The rooms are clean and the shower water is pleasantly hot. We definitely recommend Railay Village Resort.

We spent over 5 nights in Railay Village Resort and we had such an epic and wonderful experience that we will never forget. We went for our special occasion and we were very well looked after by Siriwan, Kantima, Fatima and the team. Please select the cottage with the Jacuzzi if you want to experience the luxury of staying in a cottage style villa and perhaps just do nothing after the nightfall. We highly recommend staying in this resort to get the best out of Railay Beach. The resort is next to the beach and a shopping and restaurant alley. If I had to redo my vacation I would choose no where but this resort. The team in the resort is super friendly and accommodating. I never met Siriwan face to face but I really wanted to thank her before I left as she was so prompt with her email responses and gave us a nice surprise with room decoration for our occasion. The team looked after us getting us the Kayaks and getting us to the boat on our last day. I am glad I chose the Krabi to Railay

Beautiful location!”
Very nice hotel. I was in a jacuzzi villa, which was VERY spacious. The staff was very nice, and helpful. The location is right next to the beach and right next to the start of Railay walking street. The only thing I will point out has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Railay Beach is beautiful, but since you can only get there by boat, you're limited in the choices of things to do spur of the moment. There are plenty of things there to keep you busy for a day or two, but after that, you could go a little stir crazy. UNLESS what you're looking for is someplace you can just relax and forget about the rest of the world. Then that could work well. Also, it's a mecca for rock climbers, a category I don't fit into, but you might.

Great hotel by Railay Beach!”
Excellent place. Our room was clean with pool access right outside the door. It was also very close to the beach where we rented our longtail for island hopping. The staff was very helpful. They can help book your island hopping. But here's a tip. Double check a private kiosk on the beach where we were able to hire and haggle a private excursion for less than what a group tour would have been.

Amazing ”
Amazing resort, wonderful staff and just a great place to stay. I read a lot of reviews and was quite concerned but the place and people are amazing. Behaviour breeds behaviour and if your friendly and kind so will the staff be. The pool is awesome and the room is superb. The amount of restaurants etc around is excellent. Day trips are easy to take from here. The resort can organise anything for you. Make sure you walk all of the tracks on the peninsula. It’s just amazing.

Beautiful Location”
The suite we booked was very nice with a private walk and the neighbors were not too close. Rooms are non-smoking, but they provide ash trays at the outside covered table. Overall everything was awesome, but there are a couple of things that could be improved. You only get one key and the AC takes about 2 hours to get the room cool. Either leave the key in the room unlocked or just deal with the heat when you get back. The main shower did not have hot water; the sink and the jacuzzi tub had great hot water, just not the main shower. While it was a rain maker style shower head, it appeared to be old (rusted? corroded?) it did not work very well and kind of dribbled out. More than enough to wash ones body, but for the price, I expected a bit more here. Again, overall it was a great room with awesome staff members who went out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. The 2 swimming pools are close to all the rooms and the sea is just a couple meters away.

I cannot take the credit on finding this fantastic resort, my husband sourced it. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised, the room, the resort was absolutely beautiful... the pool( towards the back of the resort) and the setting around it, gorgeous .. view from our balcony looking over to the cliffs and the daily visits from the local monkeys, loved it.. We didn't eat at the resort, due to the reviews, we just grabbed breakfast or brunch around the market area. All staff , always said good morning, all very friendly.....what more can I say, wonderful 4 days💖 Hopefully I will be back one day

Best Location with AMAZING views.”
We had an amazing trip here. We stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The staff was on point and so pleasant the whole time. We had issues with our aircon one evening and they were on top of it and had it fixed straight away. Breakfast was filling and we loved the restaurant at the hotel. There are other restaurants and snack shops very close by. The view and available activities here made it the perfect spot for our family.

We booked during the low season of end April. Room was spacious and clean, and excellent breach front. Breakfast was average at best but seems like the norm - might also be the low season where they dont have enough occupancy rates. Beautiful stay, will return.

Fantastic hotel, lovely staff and great location”
Last time I came to Railay beach it was 23yrs ago and there was no power after 6pm. And hardly anywhere to stay. I loved it then and loved it again. Obviously it’s much busier than it was but it still had a chilled feel and the surroundings are stunning. Sunsets amazing and the Railay Village reaper was perfect. Huge rooms, lovely restaurant, helpful staff and a little oasis in the midst of a lively little beach town. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous little hotel in the heart of Railey Beach. You basically have a private beach! Room was clean, air conditioner worked, really nice view from the room. Restaurant was okay. Would be nice it they served cheese at breakfast, but otherwise, our stay was really wonderful.

Awesome place if wanna be in Krabi especially if you are a couple, vibe round the resort is fab with ,local food,drinks and several cafe. The most special thing here was live music in several pubs around the resort. Also we comfortably managed to book all tours to the nearby islands from this place. A fun place to be in

Possibly the best hotel for us in Railay.”
This was the best hotel for us and I'm glad we found it. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful. We check in but couldn't get our room as we were early but that was no problem. They offered us some beach towels and showed us to a lovely pool which was exactly what we need in the April heat of Railay. The room was large and clean and very comfortable. The beds are firm but on the second night I actually found I slept better then I had in most hotels. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast wasn't up to the standard of hotels in other parts of Thailand. But from what I have read online from visitors to Railay's other hotels this seems a common problem in the bay.
