The grounds are fabulous, featuring 26 acres of manicured tropical landscaping only accessible by boat, nestled between 3 beaches and is the only resort which offers direct access. A very courteous and helpful check-in and orientation was provided all the way to our pavilion. The pavilion accommodation offers privacy, peace and tranquility. Accommodation quality is excellent, offering quality classic Thai decor. The bed/pillows were very comfortable while linens were of high quality. Central air conditioning and a ceiling fan upstairs kept our deluxe pavilion cool. Room service is twice daily. Room service ensured our pavilion remained spotless throughout our stay. Breakfast offered good choices, both with buffet on offer and menu options. Walking around Rayavadee is an event, rich with flora and fauna, offering close encounters with spectacled langur monkeys, small water monitor lizards, squirrels and birds. Overall, staff were very professional and welcoming. Recommended

Everything was great. That hotel gives you the whole experience from the first arriving moment till the last stayin moments. We celebrated 5 yrs unnecessary and they gave us champagne at night and cleaned the room for the night and also left many flowers (amazing flowers) at our bath. The room is quite big and the hotel is huge. It has 3 different shores and the most beautiful is the one with the cave restaurant which was also great place to celebrate our times.. GO was our person who took care for everything, he was kindly, knew the job and been there for everything. This hotel really treats you like you deserve it after paying the high amount of money (compared to diff Thai hotels). In total one of the best hotels we have ever been.

We loved everything about this place: the breakfast, the architecture, infinity pool, beautiful beaches with comfortable sunbeds, kayaks for free, swimming to happy island, the beautifully appointed rooms, the amazing garden. Even the welcome is tastefully done. There is no "reception". Instead, you sit in a beautiful, airy atrium and a host plies you with cold towels and welcome drink, while your passport is being processed. A special shoutout to our host, Suzy, who looked after us with great care. She is an asset to Rayavadee.

Superb site with truly beautiful grounds. The room was a treat and cleaned very well very comfortable bed. Loved the daily Chocs! Choice of dining was suitably varied with the Grotto bro g exceptional. Staff friendly and discrete. The use of What’s App to communicate with your own liaison should be done in more hotels. Activity choice good although we were quite lazy. Interesting walks slo g public beaches. Totally recommend this hotel and I’m sure we will return.

If you love nature, trees, mountain, ocean, beach, villa house, Rayavadee is the heaven. Enjoy every moment here, the villa is large and full with all facility, clean, new, large bed, large bathroom, full with drink and snack. Water beach sports are great, can stay and play whole day. Swimming pool is large, clean and very new. There are 3 beaches around cover with sunrise and sunset. Love this place, and recommend for 2-3 nights at least.

Amazing Resort”
My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. We left Rayavadee to spend a few days at the Rosewood in Phuket. I enjoyed my time at Rayavadee much more so than the Rosewood. Rayavadee exceeded the Rosewood by far and was half the price!The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is amazing and extremely helpful. The location could not be better and is really what makes this hotel so special. And they left us a champagne bottle to celebrate our anniversary! Very nice touch. Hope to return one day. Also, you will see monkeys running around the property. I thought it was pretty cool but may be scary for some lol.

This is the best resort on the island! You can easily access three different beaches within the resort. Otherwise you’d need to take the trails around the resort. We took a longboat (a fun adventure but nothing like the resort’s speedboat) from Krabi town and were lucky to catch the resort’s tractor pulling in guests from the resorts speedboat. We took the resort transportation back to the airport and it was extremely nice. The bungalows were perfect and we had one with a private pool that we really enjoyed. The staff are wonderful.

You can’t beat the location and the jungle atmosphere ”
Excellent staff, we had a person named Lek who was looking after us - he was amazing. Food choices were great, breakfasts were the best I have had included in a hotel stay. I have travelled all over and this property and it’s location is one of the most unique settings. The only thing I would say is the rooms are not as updated as some of the newer hotels, but still top notch never the less. I would not trade the atmosphere and location - perfect beach vacation.

Words can't describe our experience here . Everything was just fabulous, from the airport pickup, to the boat ride to the hotel and not forgetting the amazing view the infinity pool, the villas, and the extremely professional service. We had a person named Nok who was looking out and took extra good care for us during our stay where I planned to propose to my girlfriend. The breakfast and food at the Thai restaurant and Grotto were amazing. Do remember to order the Thai Ice tea - it tastes very authentic!

We have been there from Dec 22 to 24, 2021 Excellent services from all staff. Great view great nature. Nice food especially The Grotto. The only comment I would suggest is that the airport transfer should be included in the offered price.

A little bit of Heaven”
Such a magic place where it’s isolation and the 1 hour car and boat transfers are worth while. There’s much more tourism there now than when we visited more than 2 decades ago, but the property managed to keep intruders out so it feels very secure and private. It’s so wonderful not having cars to spoil the environment although air pollution wasn’t good due to the Indonesian fires on a couple of days and there was thumping music on the weekend from an adjacent property. But overall it is still a magic place.

It happens not often that a hotel offers anything that you dream of. So, there is not much we can write, since everything was just perfect: Service. transportation, room, room service, Pool, Food, Wellness, etc. What we want to additionally mention is that there was always many bottles of water in our room what is not usual, also not for luxury hotels. You realize that the hotel is now perfectionated its services for many years. The hotel is situated in a huge tropical garden, beachfront with all three beaches in Railay and the only one at Phra Nang Beach what is one of the most beautiful beaches on world. We come since many years to Railay for climbing and kayaking. This was the first time in Rayavadee. Before we were in Princess Resort, Avatar, Sand & Sea Resort and Railay Village. Yes, Rayavadee is expensive for Thailand and there are also other really good hotels that are much cheaper. However, if you go to Railay and can afford the rooms in Rayavadee, go there; this is a must do. We had a Pool Pavillion.

It’s a really beautiful resort and I can’t say more. The location is breathlessly beautiful. However if you go and the winds are strong, there goes the plans for kayaking and island hopping ! I really like being in the wing where the pool is and exactly where this poster image of the cliffs and pool and sea!

This hotel is the best that I have ever been to. Everything is awesome and outstanding. The location, the room, the food, the restaurant, the environment, the activity, and the service are the best. If you have enough budget, you must stay here for a few days. I will suggest two days at least.

I thought I was just booking a base room, but it turned out to be a two story bungalow. The grounds and staff are amazing. I had to leave and get refunded for another resort on the trip, so paid for a room and within 10 minutes the bellman came over to the prior resort and even took our luggage over. I highly recommend this place. By far best on Railay.
