Superb hospitality
The rooms and tents, the hospitality, the organisation for a sand dunes experience
This was a fabulous place tucked away near the relatively less tourist-ey Khuri village part of the Desert National park and its sand dunes near Jaisalmer. The hospitality, organisation, dispatch and efficiency were outstanding. The guest house is small and very well maintained and run by extraordinarily friendly people, who are local and whose efficiency extends to organising very nice sight-seeing on the sand dunes. They managed very good local food, too, without fuss and with a smile even for last-minute requests! Very highly recommended indeed.

The stay was very good, the desert safari organized by the hotel was worth the money. Folk dance was also good and we enjoyed the trip and the hotel.

A Good Getaway from the Bustle of Cities
Great Outlook - Village Atmosphere re-created very well. Perfect Setting with the Dunes as the backdrop.
The Stay was very comforting. The Bhatti family which runs the place was extremely courteous and took pains to make our stay very enjoyable. Right from being received at the entrance of the Village to being escorted to our room, made us feel relaxed from point 1. Pappu Singh Bhatti is a very knowledgeable person, very tech savvy and has ensured guests have wifi to be in touch with social networks. The evening cultural programme arranged also gave a good glimpse of Rajasthan culture of the 100's of years. The Desert Safari arranged was excellent and everything about it was a thumbs up.

lovely swiss tent and servide with smile
very accomodative and caring
Our stay at Registan guest house, swiss tent at Khuri was very good and meorable. Considering that my group were all senior citizens they orgainsed a camel cart to take us to the dunes and sunset view. Later we treated to a rajastani folk dance and music. The tent we wellkept and clean. Over experience was good, would like to come back at the next opportunity. Shankarram

Great location with very spacious tents
Right at the tip of the desert, great view of sand dunes, very spacious tents, customer friendly staff
We really loved this place. It is 45 kms away from the city, so perfect place to relax in the midst of nature -sand dunes, peacocks, camels... The camel ride to the sand dunes to watch the sunset is very memorable. Children will love this place. Having Dinner listening to/watching the Rajasthani music and dance in the evening bonnfire was enjoyable. The ease with which the Kartal instrument was used and the melody/rhythm coming out of it was amazing. Food was tasty though we didnt have much variety for Lunch. We had little challenge getting hot water but the staff attended to it immediately. The drive to the Desert national park was also worth our time. Kalyan and his team did everything to make our stay memorable.

Very active and involved service
Helpful staff , authentic rustic Rajasthan experience
when we first landed in the middle of the night were not sure where we were in the middle of the dessert but a person from the hotel guided us from the middle of the road and got us to the right place. a bunch of huts and tents in the middle of nowhere. the next morning on starting with a local home made breakfast, and a trip to the city with pappu one of the owners got us a feeling that this will turn out nice. came back to some fantastic local performers and a chance to meet fellow travelers from around the world. a ride to the dunes to watch the sunset upped the experience. the settings are very basic and raw but the involvement of the people made it a memorable stay

Good Location but poorly managed facility
Location is closest to the sand dunes,
Location where the property is build is closest to the sand dunes, but the way it is being managed, and the manager failed to deliver what was promissed. on 31st December night about 54 KM away from the nearest civilization when you are told to take your money back and go where ever you want to go or accept what you are being offered is highly non professional. The property is like a small home with a large varanda, and the kitchen is outside the property and we have to actully walk and step outside the property to go to another hut for food. As for the staff is concerned, there is no professional staff. Just a bunch of few boys, who will be the cleaners in the morning, camel guys in the evening cooks by late evening, and to my surprise dancers (men dressed in womens costume)in the late evening dance program. This was so unprofessionally managed, that a 31st night gala dinner for which they charged us separately about 1500 each person, because on 31st night it was a mandatory, and no option for just the dinner as per consumption. Anyhow we paid a good sum of money up and above the booking (which was not provided as per the booking) and all we got was some chips not more then 7-8 pcs each as snacks served in paper plates, in total 4 pcs of pakoda for a group of 6 people, and the dinner was Kadhi, Sangri, Chicken, very hard Bajra roti, aata chapati, and sticky rice. And the gala dinner was glamorized by some waiters/room cleaning boys dressed in women's clothes and rest took to the musical instruments and singing. Overall, the location and the scenic view is all that we enjoyed, as rest all was super sub standered.
