Kleines feines Ryokan in Asakusa!”
Wir kommen immer gerne wieder ins Kamogawa! Das Ryokan liegt zentral in Asakusa& Nahe Asakusametrostation. Es ist ruhig. Die Zimmer schön eingerichtet & das Personal sehr freundlich. Das japanische Frühstück ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Happy choice”
This was our first visit to Tokyo, so we cannot compare this hotel to others here. What I can say is that we were satisfied in every way. Staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. When we left one staff members brought our luggage to the terminal for us, with a smile, and NO expectation of , or acceptance of a tip. For Asakusa, location was perfect. The private bath was incredible and a delight!

Staff was great - very accommodating and understanding with our minimal Japanese. Our room was immaculate. Futon were comfortable and they even had child sized yukata for the kids! We reserved the shared bath twice and it was lovely - there were ice pops provided for after bath cool down. Tea was provided in the room but they also had complimentary coffee downstairs. The ryokan was itself was quiet as was the street the ryokan was on. In the daytime, the area attracts a lot of tourists so there is a lot of restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend this ryokan and would love to return there!

The location is perfect. The staff was super nice and helpful. The room is also very nice and breakfast was amazing. I really liked the special breakfast for New Years. I'll definitely stay here again.

We went to japan to celebrate my girlfriend birthday and I asked for a surprise birthday cake and they delivered it as requested. Staffs were really friendly and helpful. One night the onsen was fully booked and closed at 11.00pm but the staff was willing to open for us to use until 11.30 it was really kind of him. Will come back and refer to friends!

Amazing ryokan in a brilliant location”
After reading the reviews, we simply had to book it. The owner was there when we arrived and we were greeted very warmly. The reception staff speaks good English and was very helpful. We were able to book the hot bath for private use (or you can write your name down at the ryokan) which was a lovely experience. Great futons. Just the odd noises during the night from the streets. We also had the Japanese breakfast which was Y1800 pp but really nice. Lots of side dishes, amazing grilled salmon, 2 types of soup, and the best rice we’ve had in Japan. The location was so good, we were right next to Sensoji temple shops. Also about 10-12min walk to Asakusa station. This place is a bit pricey compared to your average hotels but worth it for the experience!

Helpful and very kind staff, great breakfast and a unique Japanese atmosphere all-over the hotel. We really enjoyed combination of the lively neighborhood and relaxing private hot bath in the evening. Highly recommended!

friendly staff, very helpfull toward foreigner, usually hotel in japan will charge if we ask late check out, but kamogawa ryokan is not charging us. overall we are very satisfied

everything is cool. Yet the traditional bath need reservation which we notice it only when we arrived the hotel, and the bathtub is already fully booked. Some room booked 3 timeslots in a day when we cannot catch even one. It is disappointing and unfair.
