I am glad I found this place. Very helpful and friendly staff. These people make an effort to give you whatever you need. And they are very polite. The facilities are great! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is in a very convenient part of town too. I am glad I found this place. I can highly recommend it. I will stay at Samurais Hostel whenever I am in Tokyo.

Not Nearly as good as Last Time”
So I stayed at this hostel 3 years ago. It was a fresh, clean hostel. The owners were very nice, accomadating, they even gave the guests food they cooked. However, now the hostel has been bought by the Hiromas chain of hostels. Like almost all chain hostels, they provide next to no kind of genuine hospitality. The worst thing is that one of my pairs of trousers, a very nice (normally) expensive pair went missing here. Maybe someone stole it, maybe I left it in the shower just before the cleaners arrived. In any case the hostel couldn't help. Worst of all, I noticed in the notebook they leave by your bed (but don't tell you about when you check-in) that if you are late to check-out they charge you ¥1,000 per hour. For this reason alone I cannot recommend this hostel. Worst of all, it is located in a backstreet area of Ikebukuro so it can be really hard to find. Stay elsewhere.

a bit far from Ikebukuro station, but it's ok for finding the hostel with the clear guide from the hostel. the staff is helpful and nice. the hostel is clean but a bit stuffy in room.

Very cool. Fit for the bag-packer but not for someone like me with a big luggage. The space is too small. And it is a little far from Ikebukuro station.

The hostel is clean and the staff is very kind, although the position of the hostel is a bit far from Ikebukuro station, but there are many convenience stores and restaurants around the hostel.

Hi, we are very happy to get your nice review. we agree to such a bit far location but Ikebukuro is huge jamming up place. streching your legs, You can find a lot of Japanese style restaurants called "Izakaya" easily . Everything was perfect, from the welcoming host to the comfortable rooms. There is also a kitchen with shared space, konbini and restaurants around and the samurai mood of the place make it stand out from the others.

很不错的居住体验，前台staff很友好，整体气氛很静很好睡。 这次是单层床铺，正好在窗户底下。下次想体验下单人间礼物。 旁边有个小公园，闲的没事可以在那坐坐。

역에서 거리가 10분정도라 거리감이 있을 수 있지만 생각보다 가까웠고, 직원분들은 다들 좋았다. 숙소 청결상태도 굿굿 가격대비 짱!!!!! 추천입니당~~

위치,시설,청결,스탭들의 친절도 모두 굿 특히 중요시하는 공용공간도 아주 아늑하고 주방기구가 많아서 좋았다 그러나 체크아웃 시간인 10시 전부터 스탭들이 방 청소를 할 때가 꽤 있었는데, 아마 그 날 채크아웃 하는 사람들이 좀 빨리 채크아웃을 해서 그런 것 같긴 했지만 장기 여행자로서 여행 뒤로 갈 수록 피곤해서 늦잠을 자고 싶을 때마다 조금 눈치보이고 신경쓰였다.. 만약 아침잠이 없다면 괜찮겠지만 그렇지않다면 눈치보일수도있다

근처 역에서 찾아갔는데 약간 찾기 힘들었습니다. 지하 1층에 샤워실이 하나 있고 공용 거실이 있습니다. 전형적인 도미토리 게스트하우스인데, 칸 하나가 침대로 꽉 찬게 아니라 약간의 여분 공간이 있어 트렁크 수납이 용이했습니다.

가성비 좋은 숙소에요”
숙소에는 총 4개의 층이 잇어요.(B1-라운지,1-지, 1층-입구및 카운터, 2층-개인방, 3층-게스트하우스방) 1층은 그냥 입구고 엘리베이터로 이동하는데 숙박할수 있는 층은 2층하고 3층이에요. 저와 친구는 2층 방을 사용했어요. 화장실과 샤워실은 공용으로 있어요 B1, 2층, 3층에 하나씩 있어요. 방의 크기는 넓진 않아요. 짐이 많으시다면 좀 힘드실거에요. 이불은 바닥에서 꺼내서 쓰는 형식인데 저희도 첫날깔고 그대로 살았어요. 그리고 수건을 무료로 계속 빌려주기때문에 이게 큰 이점인것같아요. 또 이용하지는 않았지만 숙소에서 하루에 500엔에 자전거도 렌탈해줍니다. 편의점이나 슈퍼같은 경우는 숙소 북쪽에 걸어서 3~4분 거리로 페밀리마트가 하나 있어서 그거 이용했어요.
