pleasant stay”
the photos suggest more allure than is actually the case. The room is sober and on the small side, but everything is functional and quiet. WiFi is weak and mediocre. Could use the "house fridge". The staff is helpful and friendly. My stay was pleasant.

We had a nice stay. Good value for money. They even stored our bags for a few days when we went to Karimunjawa Island. Not far from the railway station and very safe.

Good value for price”
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice and spacious. Free hot and cold water outside. There are a few ants in the room, but this wasn't too bad. The staff can't speak any English but we managed to arrange a few things. The only downside is that there is not much food around. You have to walk to the shopping mall to get what ever you need. But I would definitely satay again!

Best value for money in Surabaya”
After researching a few different hotels/home stays in Surabaya I definitely recommend Soerabaja Place. We stayed 3 nights in total. Hotel is clean, comfy beds and shower works very well. There is also cold/hot water available for a coffee or tea. The only downside is that the staff can't speak a single word of english, however it is understandable since Surabaya is a city that doesn't seem to receive that many westerners but Indonesian businessman.

I stay for 9 days, the room was clean, have hot water. Hotel's staff very friendly and offer me to clean the room every day. I think this is the best hotel in Surabaya. I hope i can given more than 5 stars. Clean, cheap (booked by agoda), hot water, wifi, tv with sattelite channel, AC. No other hotel / home stay with price under $20 can beat this.

Very clean and situated right in the center. Unfortunately, no windows in the room. However, room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly but didn't speak/ understand any English.all in all of recommend staying there.

Beautiful place, nice and clean room. Solid wifi connection. The staff did not speak English much, but was able to help us with everything we needed. The only drawback was a slight smell coming out of the bathroom.

Nice place to stay in surabaya center”
nice place to stay in the center of surabaya (near the city mall) u will love its strategic location with peaceful atmosphere. It likes a house with 24 security guard locking and opening the house's door for hotel's guest. wifi speed is quite (strong signal on the first for however I can play it smoothly on the second floor)

reasonable and worthy to stay here”
I really like this guest house in case that the room is clean, new and compact with fully functional. ( no fridge inside the room but there is a pantry corner outside) Its location is a strategic point for staying in center Surabaya. You can walk to the Grand city mall, Surabaya plaza and Tunjungan plaza which are not too far to walk. Although, it's located in the center of city. It's quiet and safe. The guest house's atmosphere is like staying comfortably at home with warm and friendly staff. I thought it's so nice with reasonable price.

Pleasant and quiet stay”
I had a very nice five-night stay. You can get to quite a few things by walking from the hotel if you choose to do so. There are only a couple of places to eat nearby, and I didn't see anything open late, so finding decent food was a bit of a challenge. I didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food. If you go towards the train station and Grand City Mall there is more, but it's a bit of walk just to eat. I was the only guest there for the duration of my stay and the service was great. My room had high ceilings and was not hot at all. I turned the air-conditioning off at night. Everything was very clean and there's even hot water if you feel you need it. Each floor has drinking water available so you don't have to be so wasteful by buying plastic bottles over and over. The best thing for me was that it was quiet. I slept well and was undisturbed by noise at all. I'd stay again without hesitation.
