Wir hatten eine schönen Aufenthalt ”
Die Villa Boran ist ein kleines freundliches Boutiquehotel. Da wir während den Parlamentswahlen dort waren, war nur sehr wenig Personal im Hotel und ausser fürs Frühstück war das Restaurant geschlossen. Das Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich und hat sich sehr viel Mühe für die Gäste genommen.

Terrible. JUST TERRIBLE. ”
Not an OK at all place. Noisy as hell at night, unsafe room doors, rooms are in need of an urgent refresh, broken safety box, wardrobe doors not closing, water leaking from sink and shower tap, aircon not working properly in several rooms. Some staff at the reception has a "take it or leave it" attitude. Avoid. There are much better hotels in Phnom Penh for the same amount of money.

cute small boutique hotel in some side alley, friendly and helpful staff. Upper floor has very narrow stairs, so might be not comfortable for elderly or handicapped people. Rooms quite spacious and nicely decorated, only setback is lack of privacy, as all rooms face the walkways with the entrance window side, so passing guests and stuff can see inside the whole room,if curtains are not fully closed,. As only black curtains available, sitting in the dark, once closed. Blinds or a light 2nd curtain would easily solve that problem. Apart of that highly recommended .....

nice location but hard bed”
checked-in for 2 nights, had to carry luggage up to third floor as there was no elevator. No staff to help. nice location but bed is hard, you can feel the spring of the bed poking your back. asked for extra pillow but staff flatly said no extra pillow. room not as nice as in the picture.

Villa Borann is not a good Boutique Hotel. My friend and I who are in our 60's were put into a mediocre room on the top floor -4 1/2 flights of steep stairs(without an elevator ) with a foul-smelling toilet. When I asked for a room change the front desk didn't want to change it for us for the reason that the hotel was full. This was not true. As for the foul-smelling toilet which had a vent hole from their septic tank somewhere...it was nauseatingly bad at night. The front desk had housekeeping taped plastic bag over the hole. This was not satisfactory. They charged us U$ 15x3 nightr=U$45 cash was paid by me. I asked a receipt the front desk was reluctant but I insisted which they reproduced but with no specific reason of charge but only U$45 was written in under miscellaneous. A very disappointing hotel and staff lack of professionalism inspite of their front superficial pleasantness and smile. I would not recommend this hotel as we are two educated and well travelled women.

Bed smell in the room”
The room had big bugs. We were transfered to another room that smelled so bad, like sewer. Will be asking for partial refund.

Great place with convenient location”
Small hotel, nice small pool, walking distance to many sites in town (within 20 minutes walk), good breakfast and staff that can help book tours or tuk tuks. I came to Phnom Penh with some regularity and have tried many different hotels. For this price range, Villa Borann tops the list for me and I will stay here again. Recommended.

The young staff are exceptional and the location, cleanliness and facilities are great. The balcony provides a lovely alternative to the air/con room.

Wonderful Villa Borann”
I had a wonderful stay at Villa Borann. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from 240 street with all the beautiful artisan shops and great cafes. A 15 min walk from Museum and FCC!! Great pool and area and great breakfasts!! Thank you!

Small hotel just very close to key sites such as the Royal Palace and the national museum, very friendly staff, comfortable rooms with a good bed, tasty breakfast and a pool to cool down in the afternoon after having toured the city. Very good value for money.

Difficult to find but a real gem in the city. Great location, helpful staff and nice breakfast. Pool is a bonus and the staff speak several languages.
