Great hostel in a great neighbourhood!”
Before you arrive, make sure you have the map or watch the video of getting to this hostel. It was tricky with all our luggage from Shibuya station and it's a busy walking street. The pro of this location is the walking distance to the Shibuya area (approx 30 minutes). This hostel was very clean and I've stayed at many hostels throughout Europe. The staff were also very accommodating whenever there was an issue or if we wanted to extend out stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 12 nights in the ladies dormitory. Clean, comfy, and amenities provided. The only thing that I would complain of is the soundproof. Wasn't really good unfortunately. You can hear sounds from other rooms regardless whether you're out in the hallway or inside your room. Even inside the room you can hear sounds from other guests as if they are right beside you such as stuffs rummaging, open and closing of the wooden locker, curtains etc. Not the hotel fault , but one particular japanese guest who sleeps on the bed beside me was really noisy. She did all of the above in a really, REALLY loud way. I have to tell her off during one of the nights (it was past midnight). On top of that, she set up sound alarm, which is a no-no if you stay in a dormitory. She didn't wake up, just left it ringing until 10 minutes or so. Everyone should ought to know the rules before sharing rooms with other guests. Other than that I recommend this hostel.

Good Place”
Wise Owl was placed in an excellent location being only 15min to the main are of Shibuya but far enough away in an area that was nice and quiet. Rooms were small but it is a Hostel so it didn't bother me even though I am a pretty big guy. Long as the A/C unit is running at all times it made for a very comfortable sleep Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Shibuya Japan

I ended up arriving in Japan 3 days early and had trouble finding accommodation last minute. Luckily I stumbled upon this gem. A great stay! would definitely stay here again in the future.

very nice hostel in a central location in Tokyo. need to walk a bit from the station it is true but they clearly explain the way and it is not too bad in my opinion. the rooms could have had a bit more storage space but apart from that no complains

A place to stay in Shibuya”
If you are looking for a place near Shibuya, then you might want to consider Wise Owl Hostel Shibuya. What I Love About the Place * the staff is friendly and can speak English * there are convenience store just a few meters away * the place is clean * the view from the room is amazing * there is a 24-hour bar * they have a balcony, an eating area, washing area * though the shower and toilet are common, but still fine * the room has sink * they provide towels, shampoo, body soap * you can use their hair dryer for free What I Hope Could Be Improved * the room is small. It is enough to fit the bunk bed * the noisy guests. There were two guests talking so loud like they are fighting at around 10pm. Then later, there are other guests (I think friends) that were talking so loud and playing music. It was like 11pm or 12mn. * The train station is kinda far. A kilometer or 2 of walk. But overall, we had a great stay and definitely can and will recommend this to our family or friends. 👌

Good facilities”
I liked that they have private bunk bed rooms for two and a common kitchen with utensils on the same floor of the room so we don't have to go too far for breakfast or for a midnight snack. The bed is also comfortable and the foam has a good thickness in it but the best feature for me is that they have a washroom with hair dryer but the only difference from the other hostels we have stayed is that each lavatory has its own room with a door so the hair dryer won't disturb the adjacent rooms and it's also nice cause you have privacy when doing your skin care, toothbrush etc. cause they also have a mini lavatory per room. The only thing that we weren't too excited about was that there's little space for our luggage so we have to rearrange the trash bin and change the position of the ladder to make everything fit but it's definitely a challenge if you wanna open a big one when it's time to change clothes. Also the location is a bit far. I recommend this for travellers with light luggage.

The staff were super friendly and the facilities were very clean. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Hostel organizes some social events but overall people tend to keep to themselves. Distance was a little far from Shibuya Station (10-15 minute walk) but the walk was enjoyable and felt very safe. I would definitely recommend staying here for someone looking to get great value from their stay.

very nice building and chill staff. the bed was nice but not much space in the room to put your stuff! the bathrooms/washrooms/showers were always very clean. about a 15 minute walk from shibuya station that goes by fairly quickly. the big dorm room i stayed in had almost 30 beds so it’s guaranteed you’ll have a snorer every night ... overall i enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for a couple of nights. didn’t meet too many people in the common area on the ground floor but i didn’t spend too much time there!

Great location, works well for young travellers and couples ”
Very small room, but has everything you could need in a hostel. 5 mins to Shibuya Crossing and close to all the best clubs. If you just need somewhere to crash after a day of sightseeing or get ready for going out, can’t beat it.

The location was a bit far, 20 minutes from Shibuya station. We stayed in the bunk bed room which was tiny- barely enough room to close the door so it was very hard to store and access your bags. The beds however were pretty big- enough to sleep 2 people comfortably even though they were single beds. There was also air conditioning, the facilities were good and clean, the staff were friendly, and the room was quiet (we couldn't hear people beside us, only when people were talking in the hallway).

Hip hostel near the center of Shibuya”
It was a good 15 to 20 minute walk to the Shibuya shopping and entertainment district. Particularly love the bar with craft beer! It is near 7Eleven, too. We got the twin bunk bed, and the space is really just enough for two. Had to squeeze in our trolleys! :) But it is pretty clean and comfy for a short stay.

Good value for money”
Location is okay (20 minutes walk to shibuya center), rooms are small but clean, beds very comfortable. Unfortunately you cannot check in before 3 or 4 pm and have to check out before 11 am, so if you stay one night you actually pay for less than 24h... not practical. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall would recommend.
