Value for Money”
We enjoyed our overnight stay here. Cute Little Hotel with super beautiful pool and view. Food is a bit pricey. Not a sound proof room but it's okay. The only issue I had is the Kuya in the pool area in the morning, I asked towel and he's not helpful and just said "later pa po un towel e" then jut using his phone and ignore me. Sana lang po work muna before anything else but overall our stay is good. This hotel looks like Azumi 4star hotel in Alabang and price is very affordable.
Great service. Friendly staff. Nice place. Cozy and Clean. Convenient Low Rates. Luv itt!
A relaxing pod in the city!”
We arrived late in the pod. First, since the place is new, it's really clean and nice! Selah Pod is very accessible. It's few steps away from Gil Puyat cor. Harrison. The temperature in the room is good and the room is very minimalist. You have everything you need inside the pod. The shower room is just so nice too. Hope I could stay at Selah pods again.
Underrated Gem in the middle of Pasay City”
Pros: - Well Designed Interior - Facility and Room. Definitely Instagrammable. - Location is accessible. Walking distance from Gil Puyat LRT Station and 3-5 minutes walk from Buendia Ave. when you alight at FB Harrison Street. - Near Convinience Stores like Alfamart and 7eleven. - Appropriate Water Temprature of Swimming Pool for Day and Night. - Staffs are kind - Personal Ref, Cups and Teaspoon, Electric Kettle, Water and Toiletries are provided Cons: - Sound Proofing is not good. You can hear noises and loud stomp of feet on the stairs from neighboor units. - Foods are kind of pricey for a budgetarian traveller. Note that you will be asked to deposit 1,000 pesos upon checkin for damage deposit (if i remember it right) and will be refunded upon checkout.
Value for money”
Given the price, the place is pretty much decent. I loved the interior designs made of plastic / recyclable materials. Breakfast (300 php) is also good. The room is small but well thought of. Near world trade center. :)
Would recommend this especially if you have low budget, noise can be heard from outside and from the other room, shouting, conversation and pulling of chairs are very disturbing especially when late at night. You always have to request for housekeeping unlike to other hotels that it is automatic, and when you request, make sure to follow up as i leave in the morning to do some errands and came back at night at yet the room is still dirty. After 2 days, i requested again to clean up and when i came back still same old story. Staff especially at the dining were very accommodating and friendly. They should also add security.
This hotel’s strength is its very helpful staff”
So many employees at a given time, and they dont just serve when requested, they go out of their way and bring u their suggested food, pampering u as if u were in a 4-star hotel. Some food though needs improvement in the taste, and sometimes they say the serving is good for 2-3, in actuality its just good for 1. The only hotel without closets and hangers, u hang ur clothes on pegs or let it stay in your suitcase. 2 elevators but in the 3 days we stayed only 1 was working. Very convenient when shopping at The Mall of Asia. Wifi was bad when 400 young people occupied the hotel. Wish they had better nightly entertainers at d pool.
We will go back there to stay longer <3 plus I love the fooood!!! <3 super value for money. and literally good for sharing! I just don't like the construction thing going on. It woke me up in the middle of a vert nice sleep :(
Budget Rooms indeed.”
Well, I got there around 4PM and there were so many people waiting to check in. We ended up having to wait 49 minutes for that, once we got in to our room, the floor is still wet and there's some leftover foods in the fridge, we had to call the staff only to get the leftover foods, they don't provide relocation room. The hotel stated rules that none shall ever buy foods from the outside or they will charge you 50% of your total delivery BUT they provide a 24/7 restaurant with ONLY FEW staff and chef, at night I ordered food only to spend 2 hours waiting for that, I ONLY ORDERED SOUP AND DRINKS. However if you're on a tight budget, this could be your option but if you're out for luxury then no.
We booked the executive room last april 19, we were only given one (1) room key card which is a bit odd, since there were three (3) of us. The room was small but the beds were big enough for maybe 6 people, four (4) in that long stretched bed and the other good for two (2) so we were happy with the beds, the room was so hot when we entered but since there were 2 air con units in the room it became cooler and colder after awhile. The restroom and the shower room are separated with a wall but it was very small with small amount of space and you can't have both places occupied as some of the water from the shower room will pass through the restroom . The hotel have cabled TV but only have local channels, but they have strong WIFI connection. Breakfast was okay, not that many choices but enough for breakfast. overall it was a good place to stay for backpackers or a staycation with family or friends
Not that great experience”
Booked the deluxe twin Cons- very noisy even at late night. Staff with their walkie talkies all the time walking around, talking loudly at night. Unfortunately, we can hear everything outside, even the elevators, cleaning staff on another room and banging of doors when exiting. The hotel is not yet that finished making the ambiance not that appealing. Cleaning staff should clean the rooms better. Like the walls and the sides of the bed in the loft type rooms. Pros - great staff and the artistic design of the hotel and the room. Go for the room that has window is advised.
Overall I would rate it A++ I pretty much enjoyed every single part of the hotel especially their ameneties. I must say that the owner didnt waste any space and it was gorgeously designed. I would highly recommend this place for those who would like to unwind. Best part is night time and early in the morning.
Poor check in. Asked for early check in and was told to come back after an hour. Came back after an hour and was told the check in was 1pm which was four hour later. Came back at 1pm and was told after 2pm! The staff is very unorganized! The room was small and smelled of rotten eggs. The accommodations were ok for the price. Although I have found that there are better places to stay for the same cost.
Fantastic but a bit crowded at the lobby and public area. ”
It would be great if the lobby would be a lot bigger to accomodate the waiting guest. Given that the check out time is 12nn and check in time is 2pm, there should be atleast few guest waiting at the lobby for their room by 3pm. Rooms Controller and HSKP should be able to address this since most of the bookings are confirmed. Amenities are fantastic except that the pool is overcrowed and a stinky smell is coming out from the showet area. In addiiton, you should have cut the artificial grass in the shower area so it would not absorb water and proper drainage would be great if ever We stayed in RM808 and we seem to noticed there was no trash bin which is standard in all types of accommodation. TV handle will soon fall so please check the thing that connects the TV and wall. Wifi Access should also he informed to guest upon check in. Corkage is ridiculous given the star rating of this establishment. Staff are very courteous especially the lady at the reception around 5am of May 12.
Cool vision, but fell apart”
I feel that this hotel is full of great ideas but for some reason it has been left to deteriorate and stay dirty. Wrong management hiring the wrong staff maybe. There were plenty of people so it shouldn't be the budget to keep it from deteriorating that is missing. Too bad. It's not horrible and I don't regret my visit, but clearly it is the least clean hotel in that price category that I have seen in Manila out of the 5-6 I have stayed at and I did have to call the staff to come up and clean the room and then the room smelled like chlorine for the whole stay but was still a bit dirty.
Indeed a nice place for a quick staycation. The place has a unique interior design which is really instagrammable. However, rooms are not sound proof. You can still the people chitchatting outside. It'll be better if they can improve this matter in their future improvement. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay. :)
sad to say IM SUPER DISSAPPOINTED”
The hotel receptionist were very courteous and accommodating. Check-in is super quick and has no hassle. But the saddest part , we really had a bad experience in the pool area. My son a 5 yr old kid, really wants to swim, the pool area looks good and modern. but we had a bad timing simce at that time there was a movie shoot and we are being instructed by the production crew to be quiet. my son has autism and sometime because of he is enjoying his swim he squeal with delight and happiness, Imagine having no freedom at all and need to be careful of not making a noise felt really bad. the movie production should have made the pool side exclusive so no guests will come in, and it felt like we are being controlled. the second day was the worst, the pool attendant was super rude, we had just entered the pool area, and we are being told in a rude manner that "once you are wet from the poo, you can never go at the 8th floor, kids are not allowed to swim without any adult supervision, dont do this and that kind" as if we are not a paying guests. Kindly note that we have no intention of leaving the kid by himself since im wearing a swimsuit, did I told him that I desire on entering the 8th floor. Common, we still havent started dipping in the pool. then we its about time to leave the swimming area, we dried ourselves with towel he told us never to use the elevator imagine we have a kid with us we have to use the stairs. when we checked we confirmed that we can use elevator as long as we are not dripping wet. the manager apologized for his behavior and asked me to send him a written complaint. but I think it is better to put it on agoda review for the people to know how rude your staff are. btw, the room sink is defective super bara without being used. i cried after that incident and I will never go back to your nightmarish hotel. your pool attendant for day shift should be trained how to approach guests with manners.
We had a nice stay, except for some small issues. Maybe it's because it's not fully finished yet.”
Staffs are friendly, except for this extra bed that we requested, too long before we got it. There's cockroach that went inside our room when i opened the door. The aircon was leaking. Like i said, maybe it's because the hotel is not fully finished yet. But hopefully they improve afterwards..
Selah Pods Staycay”
Pros: ✔️Good Location ✔️Good Value for money Cons: ✖️Checking in is not that smooth, arrived at 1pm 1 hour earlier than the check in time which is 2pm. And they told me to go back by 2pm. And then I went back at that time. However, they still process the whole thing and ended up checking in by 2:30pm ✖️When I entered the room I just realized that I forgot to take the wifi username and password so I call the reception. I was able to talked to the reception via phone and asked politely for the details of wifi and he just tell me to check it in the corkboard if there is any details in a high tone.
The worst experience. If you are looking for a good place for sleeping, don’t come.”
1. Bad location. The place is very poor on network service or internet. I couldn’t make a phone call inside the hotel. So I went out for phone call but there were many jeepneys running on the street, couldn’t hear anything from phone call either. 2. Staffs are not helpful. The receptionists made me really speechless. I arrived at 9 pm for checking in. Then one of the receptionists let me fill a form and show her my booking confirmation. After a few minutes she told me she couldn’t find my booking on their computer system. So that she asked me to sit waiting for the confirmation that Agoda sent to them for 30mins. Okay I could wait. After 30mins I asked them again if they got my booking confirmation. They said not yet and let me wait for 1 hour more. OMG!!!!!! Okay I cooperated. After 40mins more,I realized that they were not really checking the confirmation. I contacted AGODA to work it out. More than 4 receptionists but nobody could help checking in. So weird. Wasted my time. 3. The room was good designed. But I could super clearly hear what outside people said. And the toilets drainage from upstairs were really noisy. The noise made me too difficult to fall sleep. 4. In the early morning, I was still sleeping. Suddenly I was woken up by the noise that people having breakfast on the restaurant. And NO!!! I couldn’t fall sleep again. The bloody super worst hotel I’ve ever stayed. I won’t ever come back absolutely.
