Hotel with great staffs.”

A stay beyond amazing in terms of service, the warm hospitality showered upon my girlfriend and I throughout our stay made us feel at home and safe by Not to forget the decent and comfortable room. Going out of their way to assist us in our travels, from renting of motorbike to caring about our safety and giving the advice of a local when sharing with them about our itinerary, our stay here in Hua Hin would not be the same without the "family" at De Pastel Hotel :') There's no place we'd rather be. ขอขอบคุณ kub khun 🙏🏻🙇🏻🙇🏻‍♀️🙏🏻

Charming place with wonderful staff, a very short walk to the beach”

This charming little boutique hotel only has 11 rooms. We had one facing the ocean with a cute little balcony. The bed was comfortable (not always the case in Asia, the A/C was quiet, the shower had plenty of hot water, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We used their downstairs open space to entertain friends one afternoon and they were so accommodating and provided us plates to put our snacks on, and glasses for mixing drinks. It is not right in the heart of Hua Hin, but if you want a quiet place close to the beach, this is your place.

Surprisingly satisfied ”

Cleanliness, location, facilities

It was quite a pleasant stay. Very convenient to get around in hua-hin area as it is located right in the city just a few minutes away from night market and Cicada market and it is so close to the beach. The room was clean and new. Rooftop pool was a bit too small to play. You can't swim there but rooftop was great for sunbathing.

Location, Location, Location ”

Nice little hotel just a minute walk to the beach. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a small rooftop pool. This section of Hua Hin beach has plenty of beach restos where a quick meal, or a drink can be had. The breakfast is basic but adequate. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

brand new small design hotel”

location, cleanliness, confort

While the hotel is not near the night life area (need to take a tuk tuk or taxi for 100B approx to go there), it is well located as near good restaurants (thai, french, italian...), 100m from the beach with no road to cross and very close kite surf schools. Eventually, we prefer having stayed in this area rather than other busier city area which would have been oddly less convinient on a day to day basis. Hotel was brand new, very clean, with south-mediteranean disgn. They succedd to create a nice atmosphere. The hotel is as well very close from the bus station (bkk international airport to Huan hin) which make it hassle free if you are coming by bus from the airport. We would go back there in case we would come back to Hua Hin.

Boutique hotel near the beach”

The receptionist is the saving grace of this hotel. She is so lively, extremely polite and courteous. If I were to return, it would be for the ample hospitality she offered. She is the kind of staff every hotel would want. The hotel has a french-themed architecture which was not much to my liking but nevertheless nothing to complain about. I chose this hotel as it was near to the Hua Hin Bus Station, just stayed here one night and then moved to Dusit Thani. Breakfast is a limited set menu with no choices. There is only the security guard to check you in post 5 p.m. The aircon in Room 301 wasn't cooling enough and the bathroom drainage is not quite efficient. Overall, just an okay hotel but clean and good for a night's stay.

Unique, Near Beach, Rooftop Pool”

The hotel has a unique design to it. It has a french colonial style I was not accustomed to, but it quickly grew on me. I had booked a "Garden View" room but to my pleasant surprise must have been given a "Partial Sea View" room. The outdoor balcony had a nice partial view of the ocean, and despite the powerlines running adjacent to the balcony, it was quite pleasant to enjoy coffee on. When I first approached the property from the street, I was quite surprised, as the lot in front of the property is quite dilapidated, and the two driveways leading it were dirt driveways. But once I got settled in, I really came to like the property. The bed was extremely comfortable, the concrete flooring had a great feel, and the rain shower head was quite nice. The rooftop pool had a great 360 degree view of Hua Hin, the neighboring skyrise condos, and the ocean. A great place for a swim and hangout. The property itself was a very short & pleasant walk straight to the beach, making it a great spot for someone who highly enjoys an early AM walk on the beach to catch the sunrise while it is still dark. And the property is a short walk to the Bluport Mall and of course the main road, making it a short walk to wave down a green baht bus for a 10baht ride up or down the main drag. Also, a pleasant surprise was the elevator, which is always a plus.

New Peaceful stay in Huahin ”

Location is on the beachside 2 min walk, Clean, stylish and comfortable!!! New and warm service

De Pastel location is very accessible to both town and beachfront. The hotel's size is small but very cozy in terms of nice decorations inside and outside as if we are away in European beach town. When we arrive, we were greeted with a very lovely staff who seriously has a service-mind indeed. We like the room size that has the extension of enclosed balcony that can be opened up to get the fresh air. Room was well cleaned and very new with nice ambience. TV size was just right. Bed was very comfortable just like home. I can lay down and watch my favorite series the whole day. Amenities given were reasonable with bath gel, shampoo, shower cap, toothbrush set, and soap bar. Towels are fluffy and new. We did use their roof-top salt-water pool to relax and overlooking the beach sky. Very nice afternoon to be reading my book on my peaceful holiday. Breakfast was simple American style with different kind of breads for you to toast it yourselves. They have juices and fruits as well. Then after breakfast, I took the walk down the alley to the beach which is like 2mins only. They are on the nice part of Huahin beach. I like the privacy that I do get here. It's like a nice escape on the weekend get-away. A re-visit will be made again soon.

Poorly managed Hotel”

I have been looking at this place for a couple of years because is located very near the beach I always go when I visit Hua Hin and I finally decided to check it out. Unfortunately I have to say that it was a big let down. The building and the locations are gorgeous. It feels like the owner had a great plan and then let the place going down without any maintenance. Rooms are not well maintained and cleaned. My sink had the drainer locked and blocked and had to report to reception. The big shower tap was not working and had to use the small one. There was mold on the shower curtains and walls + the bathroom rug had holes in it. Finally, breakfast is a joke. I would just take it out as an inclusive or make it as optional if you decide to go so cheap. This is the first time in my travelling life where I found instant Nescafe for breakfast in a $65 room. Sorry but no... you can't do that! Sad because the building is gorgeous and it is literally 2 min walk from a great beach. All it would

A Quiet and Cozy Place”

Its location, theme and cleanliness

Relatively new boutique style hotel. Total 11 rooms with 6 sea facing rooms. Very clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. Owner is always around should you need any advice or have any problems. They make breakfast to order not buffet. No in house restaurant or room service menu. Rooms are all equipped with modern amenities such as flat TV, air-conditioning, hair dryer etc. All rooms have a balcony. Location is excellent, not too far from city centre neither in the middle of all hustle bustle. For food you can always walk to the Market Village which has a wide choice of cuisines along with the usual McDonalds, Burger King, Sizzlers etc. The beach is clean and has beach chairs to rent, massage service, para gliding, horse riding etc. operated by private operators. City Centre - about 5 mins by tuk tuk Market Village Mall – about 10 mins walk Seven Eleven – about 5 mins walk Beach - 1 min walk Money changers are available at the Market Village Mall. Tuk Tuks charge about 100-150 from most places to the hotel. As the hotel is new, many drivers do not know of it, so it is advisable to take an address card from the hotel, or you can mention to the driver that it is just before the Intercontinental hotel.

This hotel is just right to my budget and worth the money. Room amenities is enough with refrigerator & hair dryer and clean. All staffs was nice as other review said. Mediterranean in Hua Hin”

Quiet, comfort, everything new

Really excellent little hotel. Staff very friendly and all the fittings are really classy in this brand new hotel (only 6 months old). We were on the top floor and it was very pleasant to go on the balcony and feel the sea breezes on one' s face. Bed comfortable, bedding clean and welcoming. Huge bathtub (which we did not use since it would waste so much water!) and efficient shower. Toilet "bum gun" was too heavy metal to use correctly. Only criticism might be the breakfast. The staff try very hard and will try to accommodate your particular wish. They need to learn the simple things, like don't bring cup of tea or coffee at the beginning of breakfast!! Bring toast and coffee/tea at the end. Bring orange juice at the beginning, not at the end. But really, this is a just wonderful boutique hotel and we will return whenever possible.

Unfortunately, they had water pump problems while I was there so the rooftop pool was closed. Breakfast is the bland thai style boiled ham and boiled sausages with white bread and eggs. But for the price, it's fantastic. Has a feel of small Provence Hotel to it.
