Great experience”

Dead sea spa hotel proved to me that going for low budget booking can give much more than expected compared to more expensive hotels/resorts. Service was uncompromised with customer satisfaction being put at top priority for the staff in general, and front desk in particular, thanks to Mr. Samer, front desk officer and Mr. Ali, bellman, who went a mile a head to guarantee our atmost satisfaction. Clean rooms and bathrooms, very good comfy bed, two types of pillows more comfortable than most of other hotels i had been to. Good bathroom's amenities. coffee/tea making facilities in the room, supplied once daily. AC was quite good in some of the rooms, but needed a much better attention and maintainance in others. The view was magnificent, although a little more attention should be paid to remove the dust from the outside of the windows. Four Swimming pools, fit for all ages, basic water games. Breakfast was fine with cozy environment. Spa hotel was outstanding, will be my choice every time

Everything we wanted”

I would certainly recommend the Dead Sea Spa hotel. The beach area was very accesible with benches to put your items on, mud to apply and then showers to remove all that salt! The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Buffet dinner was good, with entertainment in the outside seating area. The hotel was clean as well as the room and pool areas were well maintained.

Loved it!”

If you are looking for a good stay at Jordanian Dead Sea for decent price, you can stop searching. Seriously, it was one of if not the cheapest hotels at this location that I found and I cannot see why. The hotel is huge, with 2 restaurants, few pools, garden and a private beach. We got a small upgrade from mountain to sea view room, thak you for that! So the staff was great and very helpful. The hotel has private beach with mud to enjoy, you do not pay extra price to go there. Our room was pretty clean, nothing to complain. Breakfast was also alright. We also had a meal at the pub, which was extra expensive (50 JOD for 2 people) and it tasted just ok. But apart from that I am sooo satisfied with this stay.

Good choice for a day at the Dead Sea”

We spent 1 night at Dead Sea Spa Hotel during our roundtrip through Jordan. Before entering the hotel a security check is done. Check in went smoothly & we got a free upgrade of the room. Our room was huge. The bathroom looked brandnew and clean. We had no balcony, but from the window we were looking onto the restaurant terrace & swimming pools (the hotel has 5 pools). We were very satisfied with the facilities the rooms offered. The hotel has a small private beach area, with showers to rinse the salt from one's body after floating in the Dead Sea. Dead Sea mud is collected in buckets, so one can easily take a nice mud bath. Free towels are provided by the hotel. We didn't make use of the pools; most of them were overcrowded with children. If one is looking for peace & quiet, the pool area is a no go. Though this hotel, especially compared to the overpriced neighbours, offers a lot, we do have a small point of criticism concerning the food offered by the restaurant. Since we weren't very hungry we decided not to go for the dinner buffet, but to chose from the a la carte menu. The restaurant however didn't offer any vegetarian items (except for the salad). Unlike in other hotels there was also no willingness to even think about how to create a vegetarian dish ("No, we don't have".) In short: do you want to spend 1 or 2 days at a Dead Sea resort in a comfortable room with direct access to the beach for a reasonable price (and don't you mind about the possible presence of many families with kids)? Go for it!

The view its great & value for money! The problem only the wifi connection was so poor inside the room!

Worth the price i paid, if you book room with mountain there will be sea view also in other way around if you book sea view they will give you sea + mountain. You can view both Sea and Mountain from your balcony. 🤑🤓😮 Love it, the oldest 4 Star Hotel in Dead Sea but perfectly functioning still.

Very pleasant hotel, perfect for a visit to the Dead Sea - the hotel is right next to the beach, and has a lot of pools too. The rooms a great - spacious, clean and very comfy. The breakfast is good, there is a terrace with a great view during breakfast time. There is a free parking in the resort. The views from the room was very nice. Great Hotel. Expensive Extras. Weak WiFi.”

Very pleasant place with easy access to the Dead Sea. Restaurant and bar are pretty good. WiFi varies pretty dramatically depending on where you are in the hotel. Good enough in lobby. Weak in some rooms. Great in the breakfast area. The restaurant, room service, and laundry are very expensive as they have a captive audience and there are few services in the area.

My friend and I stayed here one night. We had an excellent time and truly enjoyed the facilities. We had excellent service at the pub and restaurant from a very kind Philippina. The hotel room was clean and had a great view. One of our favourite parts was floating in the Dead Sea at the hotel beach and the magnificent breakfast that was included!

Good hotel for the price”

Dead Sea Spa is a good value for the money but is definitely not the same standard as most of the other Dead Sea hotels. The confirmation email said check in was at 2pm. We arrived and were told that check in is 3pm. After waiting until 3pm, we went to our room and there were no linens on the beds and no towels in the bathroom. This was quickly resolved by the staff. We ordered dinner at the pub and it took almost an hour for our food to come. It was no longer hot and the steak and mashed potatoes we ordered was actually steak and french fries. The massages are wonderful. The pools are great for kids. Two of the pools were very cloudy, but I noticed that people were coming up from the Dead Sea and using the pool to rinse the salt off, rather than the showers. By the next morning, the pool water was clear again.

Pleasant Surprise!”

Good location, less pricier compared to its ritzy neighbours, good service

I booked a room with garden view but when I checked in, I was really pleased that our room was upgraded for free to a room with sea view. Having stayed in this hotel before, we were given one of the better rooms and had a direct view of the Dead Sea. It was amazing! Although this hotel may have seen better days, I'd still choose to stay here anytime; I still get the same access to the Dead Sea but paying less compared to its ritzy neighbours. The hotel staff members were polite and professional and greeted us with warm smiles, be it the cleaners, receptionist, restaurant staff. It was a wonderful stay and I'll be back again soon!

First Dead Sea resort”

Location, location location

The Dead Sea spa hotel was the first resort to open at the Dead Sea, but it is starting to show its age. It is fine if you only want to have a short stay in order to experience the floating around and cover yourself in mud thing. Otherwise there are much newer, although more expensive options available. Dead Sea spa hotel does have the best beach access, but anyone can take a day trip into the resort grounds, for a fee of course.

Standard resort hotel”

The hotel itself is a typical resort hotel. Not my first choice for lodging, but with no real other options in the area we chose this hotel as one of the cheapest in the area. The staff was nice, the room also nice and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the neighboring resort. The breakfast was also very good, and the food choices on the menu also quite good. The beach itself however is a different topic. Although having direct access to the dead sea, the beach was dirty and not maintained. Also the beach front between the resorts was divided by RAZOR WIRE!!!! I get it that the dead sea is not the place where you just let your kids roam freely, but dividing a natural beachfront between resorts in this manner I find a slight exaggeration.
