Lovely Stay in Madrid”
My mom and I stayed at Dear Hotel and were happy with the hotel staff, rooms and especially the breakfast on the top floor! The food was very fresh and they had many different healthy options. Location of the hotel was excellent as well. Parking in Madrid is a nightmare in general (not to mention expensive), but the hotel is helpful with their valet service.
A great boutique hotel”
We loved the Dear Hotel Madrid. It had clean, comfortable rooms, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. It offered great value for money, and was centrally situated within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions.
Lovely, quiet and great central location ”
its the only hotel I've ever wanted to go back to! It was reasonably priced, with great customer service (especially by the reception team and concierge). The sky bar has some nice views of Madrid (for what is a central city location) and the private area for guests only was lovely. and although small always had room. Despite being on a major road (with road works) and central location the room was incredibly acoustically insolated, you could believe you were on the edge of town boardering the country. The air con was also very effient and almost silent, something very few hotels can boast about.
Great location hotel, very friendly and happy to help staff”
Recently stayed for 4 nights at the Dear Hotel, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The hotel is in a prime location, with great metro and bus links and walking distance of many other things such as shops restaurants and bars. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and were very happy to advise and help with us in terms of getting around and places to see. The rooms were very clean with lots of amenities and the cleaners seem to come round at a decent time so we never felt we need to vacate the room too early. The hotel also has an amazing roof top terrace with a restaurant and bar, that also has a small pool if you just want a lazy day relaxing. However be sure to get up there before the bar is open to the public, as it can get very busy.
Excellent location and hotel was absolutions stunning”
Staff were amazing from the beginning of our stay right to the end. So helpful and super friendly. The hotel itself is location is one of the most amazing part of Madrid so central to everything within the city and a view that is breathtaking in during the day and evening. Would recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a stay in Madrid.
Location Location Location ”
This hotel is very nicely kept, it's in a great location for walking to the Palace, shopping is right up the street and very helpful staff. The only downfall is the restaurant there, they have some work to do, may need a new chef. Seating is similarly run as Mexico with A' la Cartes. Madrid is a very busy city, tons of tourists, very authentic.
Located at the best spot”
Dear Hotel located steps away from Plaza De Espana Metro station. Pls dont get cofused with the address at Grand Via, because if you google Grand Via, you'll be led to 17 minutes walk to the hotel. Pls google Plaza De Espana station & very important. Furthermore Mario is one of the very friendly staffs and wil help you.
Perfect location, great breakfast with wonderful view”
Pros 1) perfect location, subway entrance just next to hotel front door; major scenic spots, restaurants and shops are nearby 2) Great, fresh breakfast with 360 wonderful view of Madrid on roof top 3) Fancy designed room with all you needs and comfortable to take rest Cons 1) my room faces construction and redecoration building so I can't open window while the heat is too much for autumn in Spain
BEAUTIFUL!”
Dear Hotel was excellent. Everything from the location (literally on the Grand Via and right in front of a metro stop) to the views from the roof was perfect for our trip. We loved our room and the staff. definitely will recommend.
Disappointing”
I had great expectations of this hotel after reading various good reviews about it. I booked a night at Dear Hotel Madrid due to its good location (very near to the Granvia). Before check-in, I received an online form (similar to an online pre-check-in concierge system) to fill up what kind of facilities I could choose (Shower/Bathtub) and other amenities/facilities for my room - I was impressed by how they have enabled technology to anticipate clients' needs but when I reached, I was solemnly disappointed. I had a long flight and only arrived at 2200 on the hotel, so I was looking forward to soaking in the bathtub that I requested for. Upon checking in, I found that it was a shower set-up instead. It was not as clean as I have hoped for it to be, there were some water/soap stains on the floor, I did not have a good first impression. I then requested to switch my room if possible but they refused. The service felt very superficial too. I did not feel very welcome. Will not return.
Perfect!”
For Honeymoon, this hotel gave us the fantastic location, viewpoint, and service. Except for the slow elevator, everything was perfect. If I have one more chance to visit Madrid, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
Great location, stunning rooftop”
Great choice in Madrid. The location makes for a great starting point whether you want to go for a walk in the trendy Malasaña or Chueca barrios or whether you need to take the metro which is literally right outside the door. The rooms are clean, quiet and stylish. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking.
Loved the rooftop terrace!”
My stay was very good, and front desk staff was very helpful. Bed was very comfortable, the rooftop terrace is beautiful, and subway entrance (Plaza Espana station) is just outside the front door. Excellent location on Gran Via -- a very busy popular street in central Madrid. I wish the restaurant had a larger menu for dinner.
Chic hotel in a great location with a fabulous top roof bar”
We were 5 girls and booked 2 rooms. The rooms were ready at noon as we arrived, and they even upgraded the 3 girls room and took care of every wish we had. The hotel is located perfectly in the end of Gran-Via right on the metro station on plaza de espana. The bar on the 14th floor has a great view of the city and a delicious meals. The only unfortunate thing was the taxi's rate we booked in advance for 68€ (twice the price we paid on our way back) 30€
Excellent service”
Staff were excellent! Hotel is modern and nice. Price is on the “steep” side, but considering the convenient location, you pay what you get. Metro is right outside the front door. Overall, excellent hotel for your stay in Madrid!
I love this hotel!”
Very good location in the cenral. All amenities are very cute and lovely. I was really enjoyed staying here for 3nights in Madrid. Just only one thing!: the rooftop pool is quite small but the view is awesome ! :) I love it!
Exceptional”
Great spot with a very friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect for enjoying the Gran Via and the Royal District of Madrid. Great views and food in the top floor restaurant.
Great boutique hotel”
This is a very centrally located hotel. The staff were very welcoming and allowed me to check in an hour early. Room was exactly in the photos and thanks to double glazing, it was also very quiet. They provide nice Spanish-made toiletries... bit on the feminine side in smell, but I can live with that. View from the rooftop restaurant and plunge pool is gorgeous.
Quirky and modern hotel”
We loved this quirky hotel in a really central location close to many key sights. All the little added touches really make the difference. The rooftop is amazing to watch the sunsets, pool isnt really for use other than photos but still nice extra. The restaurant has the best breakfast, really great value but most of all the best views. Bar area lacks atmosphere in the evening but likely in the summer the rooftop bar would be the place to be!. Would definitely return!
Very nice hotel, big and clean rooms at great location ”
This is a great hotel with great rooftop overlooking the city. The hotel is very well located on the Gran Via street, and you can walk pretty much everywhere. The first room we got was OK but not so great (they put two twin bids together). We asked to be moved to a double bed room and it was much better. Overall a great stay.
