Average Motel ”
Totally different from what I think of towards this motel. 1. Nearby bowling alley 2. Nearby breakfast stall 3. Nearby post office 4. Nearby park 5. Nearby 7-11 All the above Nearby I mention is within walking distance of 5 minutes not more not less. Motel is hide and inside an alley, u need to find hard to locate it. Motel is not what u think like others motel that I stay have big bath tube or massage chair or high end facilities. Is a place that allow you to sleep and put your luggage. Average rating for this Motel will be 6.7 / 10.0 The male staff is friendly, as for the female staff is off track friendly. By the way I'm guy haha. Is a matter of your choice. I am just saying to my point of view

Comfortable Place For A Good Night Rest”
Despite its distance from night markets and railway station, and despite its nonchalant staff, I highly recommend this hotel for a quiet and peaceful rest. Taxis are abundant and cost no more than 160NT TO RETURN TO HOTEL. Hotel provide transport to station on request. Breakfast is simple Asian style. But it fills the tummy.

First time foreign travelers in Hualien”
Staff friendliness, helpfulness, and some conversational English
The stay was ok, but definitely not anything more than a clean budget hotel for our stay. The bed could have had more support/firmness.

Cozy and intimate”
Carpark downstairs, large room, clean
The room we got was very large and clean. The only complaints we have are that: (1) wifi can be rather erratic and (2) there is really no privacy for the person using the toilet (due to the glass door and the large gap above the door - you can see and hear whatever the person is doing. That can be a plus or a minus depending on your perspective.) Other than that, the staff is friendly. The room is clean and large and very modern. The garage is literally downstairs. The hotel is quite central.

Cheap price and good location”
Cheap price, good location and decent room quality
When I pick this hotel, what I care is not quality of room service. What I mind is the location is close to the train station and it helps a lot when traveling to other place. In fact, it's some sort of motel, allowing cars to come in. The price of the hotel is really satisfactorily low and this make me accept its just so so room quality. I have booked a triple room for me and my wife but I remember the price is not high. It gives more room for us. The room is generally clean and the washroom is of acceptable size as well. I have to say, the breakfast is really not good and therefore we did not eat much. But again I think with such a low price, the quality is understandable.

Good value in an OK city”
Fast wifi, good breakfast, proximity to the train station
The hotel is located a bit off the street, with a parking lot kiosk as a front desk. The clerk who checked us in helped with our bags and spoke decent English. The room was in the midst of remodeling, but spacious and comfortable. It included large beds and a fridge, and the wi-fi (as in all of Taiwan) was quite fast. The hotel provides daily breakfast coupons, and I found the hot breakfast buffet to be one of the highlights of the place. The hotel is located close to a few restaurants (I recommend the dumpling joint across from the pachinko parlor), but the main shopping/dining area is on the other side of town, accessible by cab. If you need to get out, there is a riverwalk just a block from the hotel. My main complaint is that the hotel made us surrender our key EVERY time we left; it felt a bit unsafe. Overall, I'd recommend skipping Hualien, but if you must go, this hotel is a good one.

Very basic hotel.”
Central location. Big room and big toilet. Big bed.
Centrally located to all the shops and convenience stores. Room had been sprayed with deodorant/freshener which was a bit strong. Although we didn't use it, the good news is that the hotel provides parking lots for people who want to drive (you could park just below your room, which is very convenient). Breakfast was very light.

Affordable Accommodation at a Good Location”
Closeness to Hualien TRA Station
It was the first experience in a motel for us. It was interesting that there were individual rooms with a garage space for cars. Rooms on the second floor had to be accessed via a staircase which was a little inconvenient with heavy luggage. Otherwise, the room was large and spacious with basic amenities provided. The breakfast was simple (bread and porrige) but sufficient. The staff were friendly. Recommended for a short stay, especially if you need a location close to the train station!

Large Room with Free Transfer”
Free Pickup from Hualien Train Station
Debonair Motel is near the Hualien train station. We reached after 12 midnight and upon arrival, called the motel staff who came promptly to pick us up! If you walk, it is around 3 traffic lights away. The room is sufficiently large and appears to be designed more for durability and practicality rather than attractiveness. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. A convenient place to stay in if your purpose (like ours was) is to stay overnight whilst planning a trip to Taroko Gorge.

Spacious hotel with good service”
Spacious room and hotel near to Hualien Train Station
we travelled in a group of 5 and booked a double and triple room. the double room is very spacious and kept very clean. it has a large corner with table for us to play board games and also pack our luggage. the hotel is also quite near to the hualien train (not recommendeded to walk if you are bringing heavy luggages as it is about 15 minutes walk). the "office" near the entrance appears to be the lobby/ reception desk but the staff allowed us to place our luggages there when we have to check out by 12 noon and our train ride was at 1905 hrs.

Clean rooms
THe rooms were clean however the toliet amenities were of low quality. No writing faclilities and the room assigned could not be locked from inside. But after highlighting, a new room was provided. Late in the night, noise from drilling/ repairs done to previous room. Breakfast was simple with more local dishes and replenished quickly.

Nice motel and location”
Big clean and comfy room
Not far from train stn, abt 15min walk. No lobby, no bellboys, so travel with light luggage. The room is really big, suitable for family of 4/5 adults. Clean and comfy, though the deco is more for couple on honeymoon. Big window, 180deg view but not much to see as the motel is only 4 storey high. Breakfast, typical Chinese style with bread and butter/jam included. Note: English communication is big problem.
