Great stay on Miami beach”
Had a great stay at the Delano with my wife. The location is great; right on the beach and a short walk to Lincoln Road mall and restaurants. The pool is beautiful with plenty of sun or shade if you prefer. The staff was great. If you get tired of the pool you can move to the beach with great beach chairs provided by the hotel. The hotel essentially becomes one of the most popular hotel night clubs in the evenings so be aware of this. The crowd is primarily 30s,40s and 50s who enjoy the Miami scene but you are able to do as much or as little as you want without ever having to leave the hotel. Great people watching with guests from all over the world. Will definately go back.
Simply White”
this is one of the best boutique hotel i have stayed in 2009. the interior is really chic and services are great too. the private beach and pool are really nice and chill. i expected a better mojito at the pool bar.always enjoy beautiful ambience and people around. will definitely go back again in the future. the best hotel on south beach miami!
The best!!!”
The original and still the best! The Delano is South Beach! If you stay anywhere else your crazy!
'Still the happening place to be'”
first time in miami so we thought we should do it the right way. after having sampled a lot of the it places on south beach and beyond we really had to conclude that the delano is still the place to be. fun and good staff, great poolside and great beachside. big recommendation!!!
charged twice!!”
Last week I went to Miami with friends and we had already pre-paid the rooms. When we did the check ou I gave my credit card to pay the extra bills (an amount of 585 U$, that was in the bill). Today, for my surprising I saw in credit card that I was charged again for the rooms!!!! I am totally disappointed and angry. They even didn't give the receipt and neither ask to digit my pin or sign my name, the just charged!!! How it happen in a supposed 5 star hotel??
Tired hotel. Great location.”
The hotel is tired and the lobby areas stink of an overwhelming perfume scent. The Miami Music Festival was on. We had been warned about the noise. However we were not permitted to use the pool after noon which we were not told even when we checked in. We were charged a “resort fee” for nothing.
Upon checkin I was informed by management that I would not have access to the pool or beach walkway”
Upon check-in I was informed by management that I would not have access to the pool or or pool area or to walkway by the pool that grants access to the beach due to a private event that was happening during the 4 out of 5 nights of my stay. As a paying hotel guest this is unacceptable. I was never advised of this in advance. I never would have booked at this hotel had I known this. I paid in full and was not granted access to the main amenities. I am requesting a refund. Furthermore, there was hotel staff in the room right next to mine (mine was 812), that was constantly chatting, talking loudly, going in and out of the room next door and leaving their door open. They also stood outside my door talking early in the morning, etc. The bathroom sink did not shut off ever and dripped the entire time making a dripping noise. This caused me to have trouble sleeping and was also unpleasant while you are getting ready each day in the bathroom.
Nice hotel, but not exceptional for the price”
Room smelled like fresh paint, lobby had a musty smell, food/drink very expensive & nothing special. Weak drinks. Staff was pretty nice, no complaints. Elevator took forever, beach is closest to public access, so had a few homeless peeps camping out right next to us. Was hoping for luxury, got "eh".
Very good”
Be careful with the prices of all you eat or drink into the hotel. That's really really too expensive! Also i can t believe that in an hotel of that price we have in the shower a really small soap ( like a soap for hands) and no shower gel. So cheap... even the shower is beautiful.
Double charged for room n double charge for fees. Don’t come here!”
They over charge me for the room n also double charged me for fees. Receptionist stated I would get refunded once the next day, that was not the case at all, had to go through a whole 4 hour process the next day. Wasn’t even able to go in the pool because the workers also state there’s a waiting list for chairs. Ask if I can at least put my bag somewhere so I can relax a little in the pool was given a attitude and straight no! Don’t waste your money coming here! Only good thing is it’s close to south beach if they had the option of giving a zero instead I would’ve given that.
Very good”
The bathroom for a 5 star hotel is too small, you cannot move. The windows are very old and do not really close, so it is so loud from the street, that it is impossible to sleep. The hotel came in the years and would need a renovation. This was the second time, and my last.
Horrible Stay Away”
Overcharged for everything- room service bill was charged twice. Security went through our luggage and removed medical marijuana in a medically sealed bag. Room was not cleaned, yet security did walk through a of our room. Door keys never worked and I constantly had to go back to the front, stand in line, and get new key cards. Worst hotel, I would never go back.
got charged twice the resort fee and taxes and nobody picks up the phone”
have been trying to talk to somebody but nobody is responsive
Couples break for my wife’s 30th. ”
Lovely hotel, really clean. Brilliant location, great views of the beach and close to some really good bars and restaurants. Really nice pool.
Exceptional”
Just a delightful place to be when visiting Miami, Fl. Was here the day it opened 25 years ago!!
Winter escape ”
Great hotel for a February weekend in Miami. Unique place with great staff.
Cool south beach resort”
Great pool & outdoor bar. Elevator a little slow. Wifi needs a major upgrade perfect location
Not worth the price”
In general an ok hotel. Clean, comfortable bed. But small bathroom, outdated, could have use for some upgrade. Nice staff and good facilities, but for the price, I would choose another hotel. They overcharged me
Very good”
Inadmissible |||
Pas d eau offerte dans la chambre ”
