“great for budget trips”
the staff were great. resort has its own jetty. location was a 15min walk to long beach, which is the life of redang. however, the walkway smells horrible from the garbage, not sure if it was from the resort or some other building. the room was below average. the door was too tight to push, struggled to lock. comfy beds, u would be dead asleep after a long day of snorkelling. AC was super cold, which was okay. the bathroom could do some upgrading work. we couldn’t use the shower/heater bc of the water leak and a risk for electrocution. sink was leaking too. facilities were okay, very clean but there were lots of those millipedes especially after hours of rain. not really a big problem if u dont have a crippling fear of those thousand-legged things. staff were excellent, they did their best to assist us in any way. the snorkelling equipment they have are clean too. the price & location were okay for a quick budget trip.
