Value for money, clean, accomodating staff, beachfront hotel with breath taking view”
Affordable room comes with free breakfast. They offer filipino and american style breakfast. Room is clean and spacious, has aircon, water heater, free bottled water and toiletries. Room has also electric fan that can circulate the cold air from aircon. This beachfront hotel has very relaxing ambiance perfect for those who want to chill in a secluded part of puerto galera. I'd also like to commend their staff for being such accomodating. Highly recommended.

Dissapointed”
When I arrived at De Luna, the receptionist was accomodating yet she doesnt know what room should I be in when I presented my agoda voucher. She placed me in Room 16 where it is the budget room 2 where it should be in the budget room 1. I asked regarding this and they easily rectified it. They switch me to Room 9 and alas that was the same room that is in the picture. The problem now is what was written in Agoda like with TV is not true. Yes there's internet but it wont reach Room 9 compared to Room 16 where the wifi signal is good. What I hated is room 16 is way cheaper than room 9 and yet I dont get what I paid for. The loo is not that height friendly. I'm 5'4 and I need to do a tip toe just to open the shower knob. To my dismay I asked for a pail and a bucket. Room 16 has a bidet and room 9 doesnt. Fan doesnt work properly in both rooms. Need to call maintenance to have it fixed. I think deluna is best credited for its diving activities.

It was a nice short stay in Deluna though we encountered a problem at first because of technical or system error. I would still recommend Deluna for the service they offer. The staffs are accomodating, friendly and very hospitable.

Enjoyable quiet location, relaxing space for our little traveling dog too! Its a dive specific hotel but its not environmentally or marine friendly. Use of plastic straws (can replaced with re-usables), plastic toiletries in each room can also be replaced with re-fillable soap dispensers. Guests can bring their own tooth brushes.

Mindoro is not exactly a luxurious place to go and swim, but I find DeLuna satisfactory because the room was comfortable and cold, the food tasty, there's unlimited cold and hot water available in the lobby, and it's a relatively quiet resort. At times you would have to tell the staff to to clean up your room, remind them to wipe the tables after someone finished eating, pick up bits of trash on the floor, fan off flies in the dining area such that it seems they're under staffed. Co-owned by Russians (see menu and the language used by the diving instructors), the foreigners there don't smile, must be cultural? Generally a good resort.

5 nights stay at De Luna Hotel”
We stayed here from 12-17 January and we had a nice time. Te weather was slightly disappointing, but this has nothing to do with the hotel of course. The room was simple, but just enough for what you need if you want to enjoy the beach and spend most of the time outdoors. The lobby of the hotel is quite pleasant and they have a nice comfy sofa. The beach outside the hotel is very small, but they had a couple of loungers just outside the lobby, which was nice. Good place is you want a quiet holiday, ideal for couples or divers. Not so good for a family with children as there is not much to do. We enjoyed going around to eat and drink at other places nearby, as this one was quite expensive for the area, so you can get cheaper and better food elsewhere. We enjoyed spending time at Amami Beach Resort, they have a lovely filipino style restaurant and serve European type of food and drinks. We tried also Luca Italian Restaurant nearby, it was good and portions were huge! One pizza to share between two people is enough! For traditional filipino food we would definitely recommend the Bamboo House Restaurant - food was affordable and cooked with love!

Family Room stay”
It was a great stay. They dont provide tootbrush and toothpaste so be prepared to bring those things. Food also takes a while to order but staff was very friendly. Its a small hotel and so also only few staff to accommodate too may guests. Location is a bit far and the local commuter transportations do not go to this area . You'll need to get dropped off about 500 meters away from the location and walk. Don't walk at night at the back entrance because the of so many stray dogs that are scary. Use the beach side at night.

Booked a budget room (Room 18) and got what I paid for. Pros: - with cool aircon - with fan to circulate the cool air - with hot shower - queen/full-sized bed - working wifi - shampoo, soap, towel, and clothes hangers provided Cons: - If I hadn't made an advance call to confirm my reservation, there's a big probability I won't be able to have a room. - Bathroom is too small. Shower area is the small space from toilet bowl to the door. - Window of the bathroom is right across the hallway of the hotel next door. Unsure if window was heavily tinted, so was paranoid during baths. - Water is intermittent Suggestion: - Front desk should have ask all guests before checking in if they have two-way tickets and if it had already been confirmed by the shipping line

Place is nice and clean but very far from everything. Beachfront is very small, and you have to travel 20 mins by tryke going to the center or White Beach. Would recommend for people who wants to relax in a quiet property but not recommended for family who wants to have some activities on the beach.

Not the best value for money!”
Pro: Family room: decent size, you can listen to the sound of the sea. The hotel in fact is located right on the sea. Beach towels available free of charge. Staff is ok. Cons: The access of the hotel is very difficult and should be definitely mentioned if you have young kids or elderly/unfit people. The road to access it needs to be resurfaced and there is a good 700m in a very bad conditions. Not even the tricycles go down to pick you up at De luna as they cannot make the steep road. At breakfast, although it cost 250 pesos per head it does not include a refill of your coffee (american style coloured hot water, not talking of a cappuccino) or even extra slice of bread get counted and charged at the end of your stay= very annoying!!!!!! Kids are offered either tea or coffee or nothing: no juice available??? After three days without having anyone cleaning the room I had to request it as we had run out of toilet paper. Out of six night that was the only time the room was cleaned.

Such a quiet peaceful spot on the beach, the staff was helpful and the owner was so kind to me when I needed his help. Good value for the money and I enjoyed my time there.I would recommend it if you are looking for a place away from the crowd.

Located right on the beach, small double room, extremely small shower room with hand held hose situated over the toilet. Very inattentive staff who didn't acknowledge you when entering or leaving premises as they all had their attention on their mobile phones.

The road to De Luna is very steep, very narrow and not concrete”
Need to fix the road. De Luna shares the compound with other resort, they don't have separate gate. There is a also what looks like a residential house within the compound. No parking. This is not how they presented it on their ads. Travelers need to know this, had I known about this, I would not book with this resort. Food is good, staff are ok though, it very obvious that they lack with staff.

Was not worth a penny, the room was so tiny and so hot, the AC (without remote) would go off every couple of hour, no windows, staff was missing, shower was cold, they tried to charged me 2700pesos instead of the already expensive 1200 seen online... In a nutshell terrible. The only good thing was the beach but more resorts next to it were way better! Keep looking ;)
