No Breakfast ”
Decent room
Not to sure why in a town like Siem Reap , one of the biggest tourist draws in Asia, they don't start breakfast until 8. Most other hotels in town the tourists are finishing breakfast at 6:30 and on their way to the Angkor Wat ruins for the day . I didn't get breakfast because I had to get to the airport. 20/25 minute walk to any restaurants or food . Decent rooms.

a true haven in Siem Reap”
Atmosphere, staff performance, room
We had a lovely 6-nights long stay in Angkor Dream Villa. The room was spacious, clean and equiped with everything you might need. The hotel is located a bit away from the center (15-20 min by foot), but therefore really quiet and they provided pushbikes for free. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was extremely helpful with all of our questions and requests. They have a lovely garden and restaurant area in front of the house which is great for relaxing after a day of temple adventures in Angkor Wat. If we come back to Siem Reap we definitely will stay there again.

Fantastic stay”
Location, staff/owners, and the rooms/beds
We booked Angkor dream villa over New Years and had an amazing time! Johnny and Light who own the building were fantastic hosts. They provided us with lots of local information and set us up with tours. They celebrated New Years in style with us and surpassed any expectations. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. Only 2$ tuktuk to pub street, but you can still sleep at night without the hustle and bustle of pub street. About a 10 minute walk into town. Or they also provide free bikes for their guests. We would recommend this villa over and over again! To top everything off Light (one of the owners) speaks at least 5 languages, she was very helpful for all of the gests who came in. She literally can speak your language!! Enjoy, we know you will!

Needs upgrades”
Location and staff
To put it mildly, I've stayed at better 1 star hotels than this one. The room was not clean with several dead roaches in the bathroom, closet and bedroom; the shower trickled instead of working like it's suppose to. It is located fairly close to Pub Street/Night Market/Old Market which are all adjoining, so getting a tuk-tuk is fairly easy and cheap. They also offer you a complementary bicycle, if that's your thing. Overall, they need to make upgrades to their facilities, shower and make the rooms cleaner and more inviting.

No generator for a power outage”
I cannot comment on this because the power outage and lack of a generator overshadowed everything else.
Unfortunately, I have a difficult time rating this place positively after my experience. I booked online for 4 days and the morning after I arrived the power went out in that part of the city and I was told it would take 3-4 days to restore. Siem Reap is very hot and humid. I stayed my second night there without air conditioning and no air flow through the windows. It was horrible. It was no fault of the guest house that the power went out but it wasn't my fault either. I decided to find accommodation elsewhere for the my 3rd night with a promise from the staff that I would be contacted the following day about the power situation, which I was not. But be assured that they did remember to charge me $3.50 for stir fried vegetables and rice that I had ordered my first night - they couldn't even comp me for that! The only compensation I was given my second night there was 3 tealight candles to find my way to my room. I had booked and paid for 4 nights and stayed only 2 because of the circumstances. Maybe others would not have found it so unbearable but I am extremely disappointed that the staff said they would call me and let me know when the power returned but didn't. Nor did they offer to compensate me in any other way and I lost the money I paid for the last two nights. Regardless of whether the power outage was not in their control, they should have done everything possible to satisfy the 2 nights I paid for and could not stay because of the unbearable heat and humidity. When I pay for certain amenities like air conditioning then I expect to have it or else be compensated in some other way. Therefore, I cannot recommend Angkor Dream Villa. Any response from the staff or management in defense of my review will only confirm everything I have stated.

Very nice quiet guesthouse”
Very helpful staff
Clean and comfortable, very helpful staff and only 2min from the centre of Siem reap by taxi. The manger organised for us to go on trips to Angkor wat, floating village etc... With a friendly and helpful tuk tuk driver. I would recommend staying in this hotel, as its great value for money.

customer service, peaceful location
yes, it's not in the middle of the city. but after being constantly accosted by hawker (both within the confines of angkor archaeological park and siem reap) i found it quite nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trap that is siem reap.

Fine Hotel with Excellent Customer Service”
So cheap!!
clean, and amazing value for the money. less than five minutes by tuk-tuk from the market, about a 20 minute walk. they were very sweet and personally drove us to angkor wat at sunrise when no others were available. we didn't haggle the price, and they charged us fairly. forgot to tell us to leave our key when we were out of the room, so when we came home at 3am one night we were locked out!! had to throw rocks at the window to wake the guy up in the lobby to let us in, lol.

Cheap and clean budget hotel”
Clean room and nice staff
The room was clean and basic but the beds are just too hard to sleep on. We like firm beds but these were like concrete! Breakfast adequate. Staff are friendly but dis organised. Would not stay again because of the beds but it is good value. They do provide free bikes and free tuk tuk to town in the evening which is useful.

Bit out of the way - but great service”
staff very helpful, clean basic rooms great value for money
we were concerned on our arrival as it was a wee bit out of town (20 min walk) but soon decided that it was a quieter option and the hotel provides free tuk tuk pick up and drop offs in the evening - and its only 2 dollars otherwise!> Really lovely and cheap little place to stay - if you like a hard bed!

Lovely, homely hotel!”
Walking distance from the town centre.
its more like staying in your own house than a hotel. the owner, is an excellent host. that also includes his wife and two children and of the in-house tuk-tuk driver, who's always there for you to take you wherever you want, with a smile. truly a reat experience.

Beautiful outdoor landscaping”
Comfortable, cost room and high speed Internet.
had a comfortable stay at dream villa. good size room with good amenities. room rate incl breakfast. choice of local or western breakfast. one minus was the hotel restaurant needs to inform guest that it's opened. on few occasion i had to ask if they are serving any meals or not. otherwise, for the budget, it was a great stat for me. one more plus, the hotel offers a free shuttle to town. the driver would also wait for you to send you back. although free, do tip the driver for his time n service.. it would go a long way.

Propreté et situation
Excellente adresse.
