Lovely quiet stay in central Ubud”
I loved our week stay in Desak Putu Putera Cottages. We actually were supposed to be at another hotel that turned out to be terrible and luckily Desak had one room left for us! The breakfast is delicious, the room is clean and beautiful, the staff are so sweet, and the pool is lovely. The hotel is set back from the main road so it’s very quiet and kind of feels like you’re in the jungle except it’s very easy to get onto the road or walk into town. It’s probably a 15-20 min walk to the Ubud Palace/Art Market. It’s about 10 min walk to the Yoga Barn. And probably 15-20 to the Monkey Forest. Loved it! Thank you so much!

Staff: Ramah dan sigap menolong. Kami dikirimi email menawarkan jasa penjemputan dari airport. Pada saat dibutuhkan staff bersedia dan sigap mengantakan dengan motor ke Puri (karena menggunakan mobil sudah sangat macet dengan ) Lokasi: Mudah ditemukan dengan transportasi public. Di sekitar cottage terdapat banyak rumah makan, tempat ngopi, bar. Jam 10 pagi toko dan kios daerah sekitar Ubud baru mulai di buka. Sedangkan jam 9 malam sudah mulai tutup. Makanan di Cottage: Sarapannya enak dan mengenyangkan. Bisa memilih roti atau pastry + nasi goreng atau bubur ayam + freshjuice jeruk atau semangka + slice buah segar + teh Bali, teh jasmine atau kopi. Suasana di Cottage: Sangat asri, membuka teras belakang disambut pepohonan hijau, terdengar suara burung, hewan2. Udaranya segar. Kamar: Luas, bersih, nyaman. Sangat betah untuk berlama-lama :)

Amazing place in a secret heaven”
I’d highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Ubud, staff is amazing and they are cottages, which was a different experience for me. However, staff was trustworthy even when booking activities! If I had to say anything bad it was WiFi strength, but never a huge problem.

Pros: really gorgeous setting anongst the forest. The pool area was particularly pretty ( weather wasn't great though so didn't really get to utilize it). Lovely restaurant in the middle of the hotel with a good selection of food and brekky options. Staff helpful. Shuttle bus to Ubud markets hourly. Quiet, peaceful setting back off the street. Cons: no interconnecting rooms for families (however the staff quickly changed room infiguartion to allow our grp to be sleeping next to their children). Overall a clean, cheap (expect a basic room and you won't be disappointed) and quaint boutique style hotel in a gorgeous setting. Would happily stayvtheir again.

Having travelled to Ubud a few times I did not feel that this place was value for money. The property is quiet beautiful but so are many in Ubud. There are many stairs so I would not recommend this place for those who have difficulties with stairs. If you put an empty chip packet in the bin the ants will come. The staff at breakfast did not understand any of my requests but smiled and acted as if they did. This was frustrating as it took at least 3-5 requests each time. I am well travelled internationally and am use to non-native English speaking staff but found it to be quite frustrating at this resort. We ran out of toilet paper too and after being told some would be brought to the room none came so after around 30minutes to an hour I asked my son to go up the stairs to remind them. There are many places in Ubud in a better location for most tourists for cheaper. The location suited me for what I was doing but I would choose elsewhere next time without question.

Worth the price!”
We arrived around 10pm. We have late check in but still gave us welcome drinks and assists our needs. The room is big, the shower room, bath tub and toilet area is big. The environment is very good for thos who want to relax. Also! They have free yoga class every Wednesday and Saturday. How I wish I could stay more days here. 10/10

Wonderful hidden oasis in Ubud”
This is our third stay at this beautiful hotel. Our first stay was in 2016 after it had just opened. Today, in 2023, the garden and pool is still ever so beautiful! This is really what makes this hotel. It’s a beautiful hidden oasis only a short 15 minute walk to downtown Ubud. The staff is friendly today, but was even next level charming when the hotel just opened. If you can book a few nights here, we would definitely recommend it!

An Oasis”
Loved our stay here. The staff was very accommodating to put us on the ground floor as requested (because of many stairs otherwise). The rooms, balconies, grounds, and pool are all heavenly. So relaxing. Only minor complaint would be the breakfast wasn't our favorite. Not bad, just not as good as others we had on our trip. Friendly petit waitress though!

A good hotel with some space for improvements”
The services was amazing just like everywhere else in bali but our room was in the top floor (same level as reception) and it's plagued with bat poop in the balcony each night, the breakfast option is a little bit limited and the fried rice/noodle are too salty. The good things about this hotel : good value , nice view and quiet
