Overall it was a pleasant 3D2N stay. Kids really enjoyed the house to say the least. The rooms were neat and tidy, toilets clean, working WiFi, TV, Aircon, had a air hockey table which we enjoyed, dart board, Jenga blocks, etc. We didn't really utilize the pool as water was murky but potentially a good amenity to have especially with kids. Facilities were a little dated but worked well. Eric was also very responsive throughout the stay which we appreciated very much. Location was great as travelling to food places and tourists attraction spots were just a few minutes away. The only issue we encountered was the claim on 24hour check in. We picked this homestay as we were under the impression that 24hour check in meant being able to check in anytime on the day of check in. We figured it ticked a huge checkbox being able to check in early as travelling during the June holidays across the causeway with small children, making early travel plans across the boarder would be a good idea to avoid the jam. It was probably my bad as well not to check with the homeowners prior to making my travel plans. Anyway the same morning the details were sent that check in was at 3pm, similar to all other hotels. We had to scramble to make alternative plans before being able to check in. Thankfully Eric was kind enough to allow us to drop off our luggages at the house. On the final day of our stay, there was a problem with our transport where it got delayed several hours. Eric was so nice to let us extend our stay until the transport pick up arrived. So, despite the misunderstandings, the hospitality was fantastic. Thank you Eric for the assist throughout.
