Staff were not friendly
We arrived after a long drive and was expecting a greeting and smile. But instead the receptionist just glanced a us, not even smiling, and then left. He returned a few minutes later but was not smiling and not friendly. Did not explain about check out time or the facilities of the hotel. He just gave us the room key and told us there was a ball dinner that night for 70 dollar per person. The hotel itself is nice and reasonably priced for the dates (easter long weekend) and the location (middle of nowhere).

Unique Experience
Location, Novelty, Staff were very good.
Pleasant stay for once night. Had stayed in an underground room before so decided the above ground one would be fine this time to save a few $. Big comfortable room. Huge bathroom. Everything was good. décor a lttle dated but that was fine for where we were in the middle of nowhere.

Overpriced and overrated!
Location; Room Size; Checking Out
Room not as advertised, no free movies, no view and difficult access via barely legal, steep and shallow stone staircase. Reception was less than welcoming and meals were extrorindarily over-priced including an $8 room service fee for every order. Albeit that the room was huge by today's standards, we couldn't help but wonder if we were checked into an 'Agoda' special in a dark back corner with a rock solid bed. Long story short, will not return.

Passing through on our way to Alice Springs, very
Underground, decor, shower
It was fine for the 1 night we stayed on our way travelling north. If anything, the hotel was overpriced for what it offered.
