Their entertainment area on top gives a very nice view of the sea and other parts of Margate. I'm planning to go back there soon with my wife. We will spend few more days this time.

On the Plus - Great location, Beautiful Hotel with friendly staff, room was clean other then the single creepy crawly I was greeted by upon arrival, fresh linens on a comfy bed. On the Negative - Slightly cluttered room due to the bunk beds, poorly equipped gym, small television with poor reception and eventually no signal at all.

Hidden Gem”
Awesome hotel. Lovely location. The Sky Bar is amazing with live music on Fridays. Food and service at the bar was good. A pity we only stayed 1night. We didn't explore the other facilities like the Spa, Hair Salon , Pool etc...

Facilities good, staff not welcoming”
The cell number for the contact person was always on voicemail. I called and even sent a message in order to confirm other details, he/she never responded. that was disappointing. I tried calling the hotel, they told me they don't have information because room is not owned by hotel. we had no idea where to get information from. this is business, the contact person need not be out of reach.

All Ok but terrible water pressure, and horrible menu from restaurant. It is what you'd expect at a sports bar and not a 4 star hotel.

Very noisy at the weekend. Main restaurant played very loud music. Bedroom toilet had strong sewer smell. No telephone connection to reception from room. No bath towels provided on last night only one hand towel.

This hotel is closed and during bookings I was not told that it is closed. The rooms are fine and are privately owned but there’s no services in the hotel not even a reception. Everything is don’t in the lodge behind the hotel. It is even scary staying in a 4 storey hotel without even knowing if you’re safe or not. I was very disappointed because one of the reasons I chose the hotel was because it has very good facilities like a sky bar. But none of those things is operational. This needs to be changed because I heard another family that booked there and they were very disappointed.

You are misleading by saying thats a hotel. The main entrance was closed and we used yhe back entrance. There is no gate for safety of cars. The car parking area is easily accessible by anyone from the streets. The pool at the roof top was dirty, the water was green and the jacuzzi was filthy. I requested a sea facing room and availability was confirmed but when i got there i was given keys for a room that was not sea facing no space, with bunk beds that were occupying space that i didnt even ask for. The man responsible for upkeeping of the hotel was useless,. He asked me to call Agoda for enquiries about the non sea facing room. He told me that he couldnt get hold of the owner of that apartment and that owner only has apartment there. I called the owner and there was no response and i got a voicemail later in the evening that someone was bringing the keys to move to the sea facing room, bt they nwver arrived. I called the owner the following morning and suddenly

When I got there there was no hotel only apartments to sleep over the was told the hotel has been sold, not sure who to blame for this cause I booked early in the year, I should have my refund as I paid for something but was sold something else

Smelly hotel”
I would not recommend your hotel to anyone and the reason for this is that there is a smell of sewage which persists in the hotel, mainly in the bathrooms but also at the kitchen sink. I believe that the sewage system is faulty and can only get worse unless it is attended to. The first room we were given was unacceptable, the smell of sewage being very bad in the bathroom and the air conditioner not working. After complaining we were eventually allocated a second room which was marginally better but still the smell persisted.

Room was nice and spacious Good location There was a terrible Sewerage stink in the apartment all 3 nights No Porter service as apparently booking via ago day is a room owner booking and not a hotel booking Took forever to check in Parking upstairs is horrible....only suitable for a mini Pillows and linen were dirty

Hotel had a horrible smell, disgusting I do not recommend hotel to anyone until they sort out the smell. Especially the toilet n shower had a Horrible stink. We bought air freshener and kept spraying the bathroom so we could use it.

The reception was awful, staff did not know who we were and gave me the idea that we were also not very welcome. We requested towels, as only one face towel was available and had to go to reception twice to enquire ourselves as the phone was not working.

1. Cannot adjust aircon below 28 degC 2. TV remote non functional 3. Water ran out this morning whilst showering 4. No mini bar as advertised 5. No WiFi as advertised 6. Place was dirty on Arrival Expired Carrots in cupboard and yoghurt in fridge 7. No drinking water on arrival 8. No staff ?? Place is advertised as a going concern with 4 star rating ??? Really ??? It’s shocking and illegal to advertise as a 4 star hotel, to say the least, especially when the establishment is bankrupt and under administration
