The staff was ok. They tried to give me a windowless room on arrival. Said no and they gave me a smaller room with window and promised a change the next day. Weather cool for this time of year, did not even need fan on. Wifi is good and breakfast is extra but very well priced at 45 bht for eggs sausage toast marmalade and coffee. Nearly 4 km from the border but can catch Songtell or motorbike taxi for 50 bht. Nice buffet style dinner available ajacent to hotel.

If you cross the border from Thailand in Tachileik, this is the place to stay for a chill. Wi-Fi works okay (not so fast but acceptable) and shower is fine with towels. Rooms do not have A/C, so in daytime, it’s pretty hot.

The staff were extremely helpful, and always made an effort to find a staff member with some English to help out.
