Set along the beaches of charming Bophut Bay, Deva Beach Resort & Spa is all about fun, family and romance on Thailand’s glittering island gem. The resort is 3 kilometers from the airport and around a 15 minute drive from the main Chaweng Beach. The resort is close to the Koh-Pangan pier as well as attractions such as Big Buddha and the Fishermen Village. Samui is known for the excellent dive spots nearby, and a dive or snorkeling trip, which can be arranged at the resort, is an absolute must. Other activities include kayaking, bungee jumping, trekking, and golf. After a day out in the sun, you will welcome the spa facilities providing a wide range of treatments. The low-rise, resort-style main building offers stylish yet cozy rooms and suites, with many featuring direct pool access and a Jacuzzi. For added luxury, private pool villas are scattered throughout the resort’s gardens and beachfront, combining spacious, open design with all the comforts to ensure the ultimate island escape. The very tropical and super stylish property will undoubtedly be the highlight of your trip to the island of Koh Samui.

Great hideaway resort with beautiful sunset on private beach for a short stay.”
We stayed here for 2 nights during backpacking and island hopping. Was a great little spot with good facilities if you are planning not to do much for a couple of nights rest. We did have to ask for robes as they werent provided when listed, but staff were accomodating when asked. Beautiful sunset on a private little beach. May be a little lacking if staying here for longer than a few nights but overall a lovely little hideaway resort.
Very good value, great rooms but not perfect”
My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights and we were instantly impressed with Deva. It is a beautiful resort, they were able to early check us in and the room was really very nice. We were attempted an upsell on by the front desk but it wasn't very clearly done. At first the "upgrade" was for THB 500, then (as I went and retrieved said amount) was told it was THB500 per night. I didn't think that was worth it if the rooms are already very nice. And I was correct! The upgrade was unnecessary. However, I think I understand what the upgrade was for having now stayed there a few nights: sound protection. There is a street level bar attached to the building we stayed in and there are live singers each weekday night and it carries on til around 11-12 each night. The windows are not sound proof and as such disrupted our sleep. I couldn't believe it was happening on Monday and Tuesday nights??? Worst: our plates from room service remained in the hallway for 3 days...
Great facilities n great value”
Booked two nights here and stay Grand Delux Room for our first night. We were amazed by how spacious it is. its got a view facing towards the pool and a tacuzzi. The linen given was so smooth n pillows were so soft. I strongly suggest anyone book at least the Delux room if you have the budget. The standard room is bit crude and filmsy. Not so much of decoration and uses concrete slab instead wooden floor. Bathroom is much smaller and there no balcony and no view. its just not worth getting a 2300 baht standard where you can. stay in Grand delux for few hundred bahts per night.

Very remote place. It is impossible to see the sea from the rooms are far from the beach. Good service. The room is large and comfortable with a very large bed and comfortable pillows. But there is a smell of mold and dampness. The place does not feel like a big hotel. I recommend to those who like this type of vacation.
Perfect for us”
This is a beautiful property, from the moment you walk along the boardwalk through the lush gardens to the beach front restaurant you will not be disappointed. The resorts location does mean that you will need to catch taxi’s to nearby areas but this is not a problem. This is my fifth stay at Deva Samui and I will be back
Nice hotel on quiet beach, ok breakfast terrible internet ”
Its a nice hotel on quiet beach, the breakfast was ok, nothing special but the hotel has terrible internet , i could barely access it with my laptop or phone most of the time from my room which was frustrating
Good hotel with necessary facilities provided”
This hotel is values for money. All necessary facilities provided. Close to convenient shop or you can buy gloceries from reception with only slightly marked up price. PROS: - friendly staff. Every request during booking process os - done promptly - spacious and clean room with bath tub - close to restaurants, shops and some attractions - car park is provided CONS: - no confirmation of booking during check in process - Limited selections of breakfast - no dental kit - most of the staff are very attentive only some that needs to understand more on guest anticipation. -
This stunning, quite new resort is 15 min walk to the Big Buddha and 10 mins drive to the airport. It has its own pristine beach (with great coral and snorkelling just off-shore) and free use of canoes. Beside the beach is a beautiful restaurant, including tables on the sand. Romantic dinners are a must - though it's not the cheapest eat and the menu isn't huge. The place seemed full of honey-mooning couples. Rooms are gorgeous and huge, with every facility. There are 3 pools and ground-floor rooms can enter the water from their balcony. Our room was upstairs with its own jacuzzi on the balcony. There is also a great gym with modern cardio equipment, a wide range of hand-weights and constantly air-conditioned. A fantastic treat - but you won't want to leave the resort as there aren't many shops or restaurants really close by, so you may wish to have your own transport. Highly recommended and worth the price.
We stayed three nights at the Deva at the end of our trip round Thailand. We decided to treat ourselves and booked the Grand Pool Villa for just over £100 a night. We got there and the room was just awesome. Better than I expected. We had breakfast and dinner there the whole time and both were excellent. Really nice cocktail menu on too, and you can order lunch at the poolside and in the swim up bar. The beach outside the hotel is lovely to sit on, but bad for swimming in, there is a daily shuttle bus to the big beach though. Staff was lovely throughout. Felt they missed touches that we had seen at the other hotels we stayed at like welcome drink and cold towels, or flower petals in the bath, or towel origami. But on the whole, didn't want to leave!
Quiet place. Great swimmingpools.”
Fast check in/out. Rent bikes at cheap price. Fantastic swimming pools. Great breakfat. Quiet and relaxing place. The only "cons" is the beach which is not the best in Samui but you´ve got free transfer every day to Choeng mon beach and Chaweng beach.
nice & clean resort with friendly staff ”
This is a nice resort, large room, helpful staff, nearby airport and shopping centre. Everything is good except WiFi not strong enough in room and not much choice in breakfast. I will stay in this resort again next time.
Great resort will stay again on my next trip”
I had a great time at this hotel the staff were very welcoming and the food quality was great I would recommend this for anyone, the location is not great from chasing beach but for 150 baht per data motorbike will get you anywhere you need to go
This hotel was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. It's quiet, with its own private beach. Our room was huge. We also had a jacuzzi on the balcony which was a really nice treat. This is a really nice resort hotel. The only negative is that it is not walking distance to any town center so be prepared to get a taxi if you want to leave the resort.
Unexpected from what i expected - This is great!”
This is out of my expectation, it is great and very nice resort i ever stay before. The staffs are friendly, the environment and landscape is very beautiful. The room is perfect, it can consider 5 stars rates. It's lovely and i will back if i got chance to visit Samui Island again.
Lovely grounds and well appointed rooms”
We found the staff very obliging and we thoroughly enjoyed having the pool area outside our room to ourselves most days. The restaurant has a good view over the beach. It was nice to be close to shoppiing and eating facilites, but at the same time have a quiet area away from the key tourist spots.
This place is beautiful! The pictures do not match to how amazing this place is. Definitely recommend this place to relax and get sun. Perfect oasis to show how beautiful Thailand is. Most of the staff spoke English so that was so helpful. It was a great experience.
Too far away”
Staff not helpful, answer she dont know for everything
Really enjoyed my stay! Great staff, very clean.
good value of money”
spacious room, nice staff, good value of money, beautiful swimming pool
Excellent stay at Deva”
We had booked the pool access room, wasn't disappointed even a bit. The location is perfect, just 10 minutes from airport, near to fisherman's Village, nice property with sea facing pool and restaurant. Sunsets are beautiful with Big Buddha view. Breakfast is a nice spread with ample options. Only con that I could think of is it isn't near any happening party places.
Free Wi-Fi in all rooms!
