Devere Hotel experience”
I was very impressed by this hotel. Cost-wise, you can't beat it. The location is also safe and nearby Kings Cross rail station and bus #311 for trips into town or to visit Bondi Beach. The staff were kind enough to check me in before noon after I had flown 24 hours. I greatly appreciated it that! I would stay there again.

Close to King Cross Station and a big supermarket. The price is nice and the room is good. Only problem is the sound insulation. I can hear the man next door snore. But in all it is a nice experience in this hotel

The communication from the hotel was fast and very helpful. I arrived before check in time. There was an issue with the type of room but they fixed it straight away. I stayed in the standard room with a double bed. The room is pretty small but if you only need it for sleeping its fine. very clean. Didn't have a microwave but you could request one. You have to pay for wifi though. Ensuite was very clean and new looking and it had a bath! Lots of steps so not suitable for elderly or disabled. 6 steps going down into the reception. Bit of a maze but once you knew where to go it was easy. They had a fantastic offer on a full buffet breaky for $10!! It was very good, as was the lady who greeted you and cleaned your table. Only criticism the reception staff on both days don't talk to you much. She gave me the room card and I had to ask where to go. Just a few words like where are you from or how was your trip would be nice. other than that will certainly stay there again..

Nice old school hotel”
Clean and comfortable old style hotel room, reasonably priced in a good location. Only issue would probably be the age of the wall mounted air conditioner. Parking at King Cross garage on the weekend is expensive, but the hotel provided a 50% discount. Excellent place to stay if you're travelling without a car. Staff at front desk were very nice

Nothing in Sydney is cheap, at least not if you want single, en suite, quiet at night, safe and central....but this is ok price...ac was very noisy in my first room, so they appoligized and gave me another room...young staff at the reception, but bery kind and obliging.... Walking distance to "everything" depending of course of you fitness, but within 3-4 kms you get everything....

Excellent service from every staff member. Location is really good. Opposite Wooworths, quick walk to the train and a bus to the city right there.. My room was upgraded, for which I was very grateful, as I became quite ill during my stay. Lift is great with heavy bags. Excellent value for money. There were no negatives.

Stayed only one night here, but I would definitely come back. It is in a great location in Potts Point and the staff are excellent. Older hotel, however the facilities, rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Only downside is no free Wi-Fi, you need to pay. But otherwise, excellent stay.

Room clean and spacious, nice view of the harbour, inexpensive airport transfer from the door, although the decor is tired and you can hear sounds through the walls.
