Guests praised the hotel's location on the peaceful east side of Railay, which is within easy walking distance to West Railay and viewpoints. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, according to many reviewers. Trip Advisor had a lot of negative views, so I have to share that we had a great time here. We stayed in a bungalow which was very clean and had great AC. The pool is beautiful and beside a big mountain, getting shade for half of the day. There are comfortable pool chairs with a pool bar for smoothies and other drinks. We paid for breakfast on the first day and it was okay — bread, eggs, pancakes, and fruit. We tried other breakfast spots in the small town and preferred that for more options. Make sure you take a boat taxi to the East side pier (floating pier) to avoid taking your bags through the water and beach on the West side. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the pier and it’s up a hill — not too bad because there’s lots of lizards and tree frogs to look for on the walk. It’s a peaceful, quiet escape from the busy small town area which we loved. You stroll along the water each time you leave and return. The staff offered to bring our bags back to the pier when we left and you can just pay 100 baht at the pier (cash) to get the boat back to the pier in Krabi. Negatives: - The bathroom had a bit of a sewer smell after it rained which didn’t bother us too much, it’s island-like plumbing anyway - The shower drained very slowly
Great value for money, we were traveling in the off season so the room rate was very affordable. We started off in a bungalow but we're upgraded to a largermainbuilding room by the lovely reception staff when there was a maintenance issue with he room. Super friendly resort staff, comfortable beds and atthe quieter end of Railay. Enjoyed the pool with its impressive views towards the limestone cliffs that for the backdrop of Railay. Only slight negative I'd mention is that it's a wee walk to the beaches.
I stayed here 2 nights during low season (August) and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with a separated shower! It’s located very close to the caves providing amazing scenery and is a 10 minute walk from the “walking street”. Note: August 12th there is construction on site, they are expanding more bungalows. Construction is from 8am-5pm.
We booked the day of, so price was a bit higher than normal, our fault. Rooms were fairly clean but a bit outdated for the price. Air Conditioning was nice and cold. Balcony area is nice for chilling and looking out over the pool area. Speaking of the pool, it was. I’ve if not a bit warm and over chlorinated. It’s in the shade most of the day so that was awesome. The poolside bar was fun and our bartender “Bill” was super nice and cracked jokes all day. Omelette thank youShower pressure was less than ideal but serviceble, we are in a more remote area so it is what it is sometimes. There was mold in the showers and the room, but nothing crazy just thought I’d mention it for people who are more sensitive. Location is a bit of a walk from the main railay beach and Main Street but otherwise accessible to everything. The staff was friendly and spoke English just fine. I would definitely stay here again as it was great for what we needed, a place to shower, sleep and charge devices.

I’ve just spent 4 days here and it was brilliant. I relaxed by their immaculate blue pool, had stunning views the rooms were more than comfortable in size, cleanliness and modern. The staff were really kind and the food was brilliant. Their Penang Curry in particular was great. The internet in the room wasn’t great but it was 100% in the pool and bar area where I worked comfortably served pineapple shakes, beers and Thai food. Magic! If you want to be on your phone all the time and wanna Karen over ridiculous things, then maybe don’t consider Thailand. If you want peace, calm and beautiful views and 5 min walk to a beach with an incredible sunset, Diamond Cave resort is fantastic. I saw someone complain cos their partner had heatstroke and blamed the resort. Ridiculous. 5 stars for this place. Also the amenities in the room were modern and well maintained. Some else posted photos but I genuinely think they posted them on the wrong resort. Anyway, for a budget resort, it was great. I enjoyed all aspects of the place.
