Exceptional”
Clean room upon arrival, given a 19L jug of water, kettle and other necessities at bar steps from the room. I was there during Tet and they didn't raise the price. Very communicative. Helped me get cars to and from train and bus stations. No ATM nearby though. Steps to mini marts and restaurants, tours pick you up at the door, was shown 200 m route to beach. Just one thing though, they didn't clean the room while I was there for 5 days but I didn't care because it was their holiday :) Very relaxing. Nice hammocks, cute puppy. Lovely family. Excellent place to unwind and enjoy Tet without the fear of everything being closed.

Absolutely beautiful”
We just stayed here for two nights but loved it. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are quite big and very clean. The garden is just gorgeous. We would book it again for sure. Also location is near the fairystream and sea, you’d need a scooter or smth to go to paradise beach and so on though.

Great homestay ”
A very nice stay in this guesthouse. We stayed for a week and it was lovely. The rooms are big, clean, bright and with all facilities: stable WiFi, drinking water, coffee... Staff is very friendly and can deliver very cheap breakfast every day (25.000 VND for pancake, sandwich, eggs... And 15.000 VND for fruit juice). Laundry, motorbike rental are also available. The outside area makes the stay in the place very lovely, with hammocks to chill and a bar to relax. Beach is 5 min walk but it is very dirty... For those who know mui ne it won't be a surprise but do not expect to see nice beach here. Actually, do not come to mui be for beach otherwise you will be disappointed. Nice atmosphere here, totally recommended to stay over.

Very nice location and very friendly staff”
I really enjoy the stay at Diem Lien Guesthouse. Its managed by a very friendly and helpful family and has really very nice rooms. My room had a terrace to sit outside with a great view to the beautiful garden. Rooms were very clean and really big. I really like the location, because its between Mui Ne and Phan Thiet, so its not too crowded there and you find a very nice and quit place on the beach (about only 200 metres from Diem Lien Guesthouse). I can recommend this place for 100 %

Excellent budget option in Mui Ne”
I've stayed in over 20 different hotels, guesthouses and hostels during my ongoing travels, and normally don't have the inclination to leave reviews for all of them. My stay at Diem Lien, however, warrants a review. The rooms are quiet, clean, spacious, with air con. Nearly everything on the food menu is priced at ~20,000 VND. They also sell drinks (water, soda, beer) and even wine bottles from Dalat, all reasonably priced. The guesthouse is located on the main road that runs through Mui Ne. The only drawback is it's a bit of a walk from town center, so it'd be a good idea to rent a bicycle or scooter during your stay. Plus, the beach seems to be cleaner as you get closer to town. I would recommend renting transport and entering the beach around Joe's Cafe area. What makes this place shine above the rest, though, is the warm, inviting staff. From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly and helpful. After learning that I was going to take a bus to Saigon at check-out and planning to call a taxi to the bus station, they suggested I ride the local bus, as it would be much cheaper and since I had plenty of time before departure. Unfamiliar with navigating the local bus, they stood outside in the heat to flag a bus down for me. Just an example of the little things they do that goes a long way to help their guests. So kind. If I came back to Mui Ne, I would not stay at any other place.

Beautiful hideaway ”
Mui Ne is spread along a busy road, and Diem Lien is a gorgeous guesthouse on one of the more quiet stretches of the road. There are a lot of restaurants in the area, even though most of them are pretty fancy serving fresh seafood for people on a short term holiday budget rather than a travelling budget like us. That being said, the My Hanh (something like that) restaurant across the road serves amazing fresh spring rolls and cheap noodles! Diem Lien has a beautiful garden with a restaurant that serves cheap breakfast (20 000 riel for everything on the menu) and great coffee. All rooms have a seating area overlooking the garden. The beach is simply across the road behind a row of buildings, and the fairy stream is no more than a five minute walk from the guesthouse. All members of staff are super friendly and truly go out of their way to help. We rented a scooter one day and drove to the sand dunes and to the fishing village - highly recommended! We also booked bus tickets to Nha Trang through Diem Lien, and had no problems getting to Nha Trang the following day. Stay here!

Lovely guesthouse but not very central”
We stayed 6 nights at Diem Lien Guesthouse and had a wonderful stay. The garden is very nice and you can relax in one of the many hammocks. The staff is lovely and the breakfast very good. Mui Ne itself is very unspectacular. We actually planned to go to the beach nearby but it is very dirty. To have a clean beach you need to drive 30 minutes by motorbike in Phan Thiet direction past all the resorts. You can rent a motorbike at the guesthouse very easily. But take care of all the police checks. We wouldn't recommend the restaurants nearby but you could eat at the Dong Vui Food Court nearby (20 minutes walk). If the Guesthouse wouldn't have been this good, we would have left Mui Ne earlier. We definitely recommend this guesthouse.

The only autentic experience you will probably have in Mui Ne”
Hi this guesthoise is run by a mative family originary from there. The guesthouse is spotless and the rooms the best I had in Vietnam. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, do not exitate to ask them advices because for me Mui Ne was the "scam city" almost nothing autentic left and very difficult to get have a local experience. They know all the real places because they were born there before humans from other places came to destroy this paradise. If you buy the tour to the white dunes (that is not related with them) the price is good to get there but once there walk to the dunes is just 5 min (they will tell you 50) or if you want a buggy you can rent one yourself for 200000 per 2 people on 2 bars there, they will convince you to pay them 150000 per person to drive you only on the top of the dunes. If you come with the bus dont go out until it doesn't reach the guesthouse, they stopped me 5km away even though I had my google maps and I knew was not the place because the bus driver has an agreement with the local taxies that they will try to rip you off, but the bus will stop in front of the guesthouse. If you want to find a good restaurant ask to the guesthouse, 90%of things are run by russians or foreigners and they dont have local and good food... Finally ask where you can enter the beach because once you are in is almost impossible to exit because they built villages along the cost and they will not let you go anywhere if you are not their guest, neither if you eat at their restaurant. The guesthouse is just 5 min from the Fairy spring so you can go there alone anytime. The breakfast at the guesthouse looks better than the local bars unfortunately I saw the menu only when I was living.

Large clean comfortable rooms ”
I had a great exprience at Diem Lien, the staff were extremely helpful with all aspects of my needs. They organised a very cheap sightseeing tour ( $5 ) G8 value for money . My room was extremely clean & large , with A/C & fan lots of hot water all for $10 app p/n . The kitchen provide a small but adequate well priced menu . The morning I was heading to Dalat ( 0630 ) the staff kindly cut up beautiful fresh pineapple & watermelon to eat along the way ( best way to travel) . There's a couple of well priced local restaurants within easy walking distance, can't go wrong if u stick to fresh local Vietnamese food .

Best Place in Value for Money”
Everything was perfect about Diem Liem! For the price you pay you have more than expected. The room is so big and it was extremely clean. Don't expect a nice TV for this price, but I felt really good in there. The terrace was awesome. Staff are so friendly and help you a lot. Anything bad? Just Mui Ne, that was a not so nice beach area, I'd recommend any other area in South East Asia. But, if you plan to go there, Diem Liem is an outstanding option if you want value for money.

Beautiful guesthouse!”
We loved this guesthouse, probably our favourite in Vietnam! Amazing value for money, including a great breakfast menu (just 20,000 vnd each). The guesthouse rents out bikes and motorbikes for low prices also. Room was large and very clean, we spent most of our time outside on our private outdoor table and chairs! All rooms surround a beautiful little garden. Agoda pictures of this guesthouse don't do it justice as you will see when you arrive! You must stay here on your trip to Mui Ne!

great little place”
Really nice place, best we had in Vietnam, shame the beach along this road is covered with resorts.. on the flip side you can pay 100,000 in any of them and use their beautiful pools and loungers for the day! Nice breakfast at Diem Lien and very cheap, the staff are lovely and each room has its own table and chairs outside by their beautiful gardens. Plenty of restaurants around.
