Amazing View, Location and Apartment”

We enjoyed our stay at docklands private collection - New Quey!!. we got an amazing apartment on the 3rd floor, right in front of the water. the view was amazing. just walking distance from docklands district shopping mall, Melbourne star, tram stops shops and marvel stadium. would definitely stay again when travelling to Melbourne.

AC issue was addressed”

Harbour view is great. A shopping mall, some nice restaurants and tram station at New Quay are plus points to stay in DockLands. But unfortunately, we checked into an apt with faulty AC. Booked a 7 days stay and on the 2nd day when the temperature went up to 32c the AC was not working. And with the hot breeze it was not tolerable to stay in door with the fans provided. We were glad that the office managed to move us to another apartment but its definitely troublesome for a group of seven to packed and moved after we settled in for 2 days already. It was nice that the office responded to our need even on Christmas Day. (thumbs up)

Great place to stay”

Docklands is a great place to stay in Melbourne. It is close to the city and still very quiet. Free trams into the city and an amazing apartment. Some equipment not working in the gym and bedrooms not air conditioned but this didn't overshadow the wonderful apartment, facilities and position.

Perfection”

Amazing view, spacious, fully cattered

The floor to ceiling glass windows and balcony from the lounge and main bedroom provide an amazing view of the harbour. The rooms are spacious and very modern. The second bedroom has its own study area and ensuite. The kitchen has a dishwasher and everything else you need for cooking and eating. There is a lounge area as well as dining table. The hotel is located right across from Harbour town shopping centre, the ice skating rink and many different restaurants and bars while not being too far from town. The hotel phoned me to confirm my arrival time, emailed me a map and other information and sent me a text on the day. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I will look no further for accommodation options during my future stays in Melbourne.

Value for money, friendliness of the staff and it was in a very attractive position on Docklands

We had a wonderful time in Melbourne, and it was certainly helped by having such a top quality apartment, the views were great from the balcony. The beds were clean and comfortable and the en suites spotless,the TV had full satellite programming not like other hotels wher they advertise satellite TV and you get four channels. The position of the hotel was excellent with the free city circle tram running by no more than 300 meters walk away. The member of staff on check in walked us right to the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know about It. There are resteraunt a all around it and convenience stores and bottle shops close by. I will return for sure

The Apartment is located in Docklands. Very close to the city, and nearby attractions. Public Transport (Tram) is in front of the apartment. Great view from the balcony. Although the apartment needs to be cleaner.

location

When we arrived at reception the staff were lovely. The young lady showed us to the apartment. It was very clean and modern, everything that we needed was there. Its a shame that you cant see the view of the docklands from the apartment, but we did have a little balcony. The tram stop is just outside the apartment block and it is the perfect place to stay for Etihad stadium. Its just across the road from a variety of great restaurants and bars too.

easy to find -great location-close to restaurants ”

location of hotel was easy to drive to, public transport at the front door, lots of restaurants close by

I found New Quay apartments easy to drive to (no hooky right turns). The free city circle tram stopped out the front so thats a bonus for interstate travellers. I stayed on the 18th floor and the city view was stunning. I was a little dissapointed that i had to pay for car parking ($15/night) after paying for my 2 bed apartment (it would.ve been nice to be included). The apartment was spacious although, the bathroom could.ve done with a really good scrub to get rid of some of the mould. There were several light bulbs that needed replacing and the wall clock needed a new battery. So other than these few little things it was a great place to stay. The DFO's are directly across the street and its only a 20 minute tram ride to down towm Melbourne shops. Etihad stadium is a short walk away so the location is great and the tram to Rod Laver Arena stops out the front too. There is a kitchenette with microwave, stove, full size fridge and dishwasher so if you wanted to eat in you have that option as well (there is a small supermarket in the next block).

Wonderful apartments to stay in whilst visiting Melbourne!!! Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The apartments are an excellent size. There were 3 of us staying and there was more than enough room. Definitely recommend these apartments!

Perfect and Awesome to stay with this properties”

Absolutely fantastic apartment with amazing views. Close with Free Tram Zone station (Central Pier) and The Melbourne Star. Is perfect spot and the car park was so close to our apartment. We was enjoy to stay, lovely and clean with modern amenities and furniture. Will definitely be back on our next visit!!!

Amazing location, loved the fact it had two bathrooms. ”

Location was absolutely brilliant. For us who are not familiar with Melbourne at all it had everything at our door step and was easy to find our way back to when we went out. It was a very quiet building and we didn’t get much noise from restaurants down stairs.

Good Location”

Pros : Property's location is excellent. Diagonally opposite Etihad Stadium. There is free Tram service. Our unit is facing the Marina, very beautiful scenery. Private parking is cheap at $15 per night. All facilities are provided = Hair Dryer, Washing Machine, Dryer, Kitchen Utensils. Size of unit is big and there is a balcony. Cons : Only 1 toilet for 5 pax is a bit inconvenient. The toilet door that's connected to the master bed room does not have a lock. It will be good if there are mirrors in the room or living hall instead of just in the toilet.

Nice apartment”

The apartment need 5 minutes walk from the office where you need to collect the key and return the key from. Nice view to the dock and water Apartment is clean with good amenities, water heater good, aircon and heater good, the balcony window need cleaning cause dust all over it. Vaccum cleaner had bad smell when use it,but the staff really quick sending another vaccum (not replaced but got another one). Fuse have problem too, can’t use all item all in once, the staff attendant very well too, one of the staff visit us to explained about it and apologies about the issue (forget the staff name) Drying machine need fixed and cleaned, really need a long time to dry clothes and got full of dust when using it, we ending cleaning it before using it again. One of the bedroom really dark in the shower, need more brighter light, and the sink is very small. Need more space to place things for bath like shampoo,soap,etc. Close to tram station Overall is nice place.

Wonderful unit to stay in as spacious, lovely view, good kitchen , nice patio, Comfortable beds. Teams and transport close by. Shopping good (Harbour Tiwn) A few maintenance issues but quickly addressed. Pool freezing. Staff lovely and very helpful. Office a bit of a walk with suitcases but not a deal breaker. A really good place to stay and unwind.
