"We thought this place was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and the place itself is set amongst the trees, which meant it was both scenic and peaceful. They have a beautiful coffee shop there and seating areas scattered around the location. They even have a pool! There is Wi-Fi setup in every area of the resort and it was in a good proximity to the 'downtown (bearing in mind that in Doi saket you would need to have a vehicle no matter where you stay). The room was all so wonderful. Comfortable bed, nice decor and some other great amenities like an umbrella, slippers, a hair dryer and a kettle. The only thing that I would suggest is a window or an extraction fan in the bathroom 😊. We would definitely stay again!"

"if you are looking for a quiet rural getaway in a lovely little hotel that is very good value then the monn phu phrai is great choice. the pool area, while not huge is excellent and the gardens lovely. the hosts and staff are helpful and extremely approachable which all adds to the charm of the hotel. there are bikes available (at a very cheap rate) to explore the countryside and visit the local hot springs which includes a good locally run "massage club". if you are expecting a lot to do this hotel may not be for you as, unless you have a hire car, the location is quite remote, but if you fancy a break from the faster pace of chiang mai then this could be ideal."
