Near Paddington Station”
Pros: walking distance from Paddington station. Nice staff. Room is clean (daily). Breakfast is okay. Room heater is working (we stayed in autumn which is a bit cold) Con: No lift. So if you are carrying heavy luggages it is best to request for a room at a lower floor. If you are a tourist on a budget and would just like to sleep comfortably i’d recommend this place.
great Sleep ”
No tea or coffee hot water or milk
GREAT LOCATION, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF”
THE HOTEL IS LOCATED IN A LOVELY NEIGHBOR, 20 METERS FROM A BUS STATION AND 50 METERS FROM THE PADDINGTON UNDERGROUND STATION. RESTAURANTS, PUBS, MINI MARKETS, FAST FOODS AND GENERALLY ANYTHING A TRAVELER MIGHT NEED IS ALL AROUND. FIVE MINUTES AWAY YOU FIND HYDE PARK. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND POLITE (RECEPTIONISTS, BREAKFAST STAFF). YOU CAN EXPLORE LONDON FROM THERE!
Central, 24hr reception, would use again”
A good budget option. For me flying in - at a very stressful time - to be able to book and pay in advance online was very helpful for peace of mind. Tea, coffee, a kettle and a minifridge were much appreciated perks I had not counted on but were very happy to find in my attic room. Good view - with a bay window that opened - even in a small room.
good and nice location near Padington train station, room is small, best thing is you can leave your heavy luggage at the reception for few days when you travel outside London and you do not want to carry them with you. Other hotels charge 5 pound per piece per day!
Very reasonable ”
This hotel is very reasonable. location is good. It is near Paddington Station so I could use heathrow express comfortably. The room was bigger than I expected, so I recommend this hotel.
Excellent location + good price”
Good enough if all you need is TV+shower+bed. You get what you want and price is good after all. Location is excellent.
Close to underground, bus stop, variety of restaurants and shop. Just would choose the 3 bedroom instead of twin room in future due to I got twin room in third floor (very high like 4th floor in reality) and it is very small.
Location is excellent. Multiple underground lines in the area. It's a busy place with lot's of stores, restaurants etc around. Room was clean enough. Properly renovated, spacious. My room was ensuite, no smoking (so it actually didn't smell like anything, thankfully), there was a closet, a desk , a window, a fridge and electric kettle. There are some amenities, but they're modest, so maybe bring your own showergel & shampoo. Shower is fine, I have no complaints, but keep in mind that it's a little on the small side (less than 70 cm^2-ish). The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Only things that weren't so great about the room: the bed was very small and wonky, about to fall apart. And wifi wasn't very strong. I asked the staff about it and he somehow got it fixed for the next morning. So that was good! (mind the caption on the wifi password) Wouldn't mind staying here again.
nice location nice staff”
very close to Padington train station, room small, no elevator. staff are very friendly. great value, hotel did not charge for luggages I left for few days that I traveled to another city but did not want to carry all luggages.
Horrible experience ”
The room is stinking, dirty, out dated furniture... the shower needs long time to warm up with hot water but I didn't get hot shower one of the day! And the worst thing is staying the basement, when the underground is passing, the whole room will be shaking with noise. You wouldn't get well sleep until the underground closed that means only quiet around mid-night to very early morning. However, the hotel is close to the station and the restaurants. The staff are friendly. However, other than these two things, the room is sooooo bad :( the hotel should improve the above problems!
Visited with kids 10 & 14. Clean & basic, but cheap & well located. Stayed at Inn 5 doors from hotel”
We looked late for somewhere cheap close to a transport hub at the last minute for a 2 day break. This fitted the bill and the 4 (bunk) bed room with shower & wc was ideal at less than £70 for the night. About 2 minutes walk from Paddington station and set overlooking a public square. Stairs to the room challenged the kids after a long day walking around London. Reception staff friendly enough and self service breakfast ok. Good if you want somewhere as a base to rest the head and a breakfast to start the day, maybe not your hotel to stay at if you are into loading about in room or lounge / bar, although plenty of eateries around Paddington station if you want to stay local. Good value especially for centralish London.
Good Location ”
Very small room but location is great
I booked a single room turned up and they said only room they had for me was a six bed so slept in a bunk bed the rooms were today staff friendly I would stay here again.
I booked a single en-suite, I was given an en-suite room with 5 bunk beds. Saying that, it was no real hardship, it was clean and for the money it was satisfactory. However, I got this as a late deal/reduced price, I would have been disappointed with the place if I had paid full price.
single bed 3room is not there. but reservation. be confused.
Hotel is good, staff is friendly, near to station.”
We book for double room but luckly the staff give us room with bed room and private bathroom. The best is suler comfy. The hotel has no lift but its ok. Breakfast so variety. The hotel near to halal restaurant and paddington station which is good. Hairdryer and kettle is also provided.
This is a good hotel for the price the hotel was in a good location for the Tude station ,ideal for if you spend most of the time out seeing the sights of London. The room was a bit small but it had its own shower/toilet and TV OK for one person , it had a bunk bed for two The breakfast was a continental style and was very good and what you expect. The only miner issue is if you end up the 4th floor there is a lot of stairs and no lift. Overall I would stay there again, the staff were good ,and around the £50 ish per night in London I thought it was OK .
Some confusion but easily resolved”
I booked a shared room as I was only staying one night. Check in was easy. Once I eventually found the room (in a different building) I was told that the room had 3 men already staying there. The man asked how I opened the door and was very rude to me, so I went back to reception. I told the lady that as a solo female, I didn't feel safe to stay in that room. She told me that the only other option was to pay an extra £25 to have a room to myself and that even she would feel unhappy staying in the original room. She did give me free breakfast and gave me details if I wanted to make a complaint. The room I stayed in was comfortable and had everything I needed, even a small fridge. The curtains didn't close properly but it didn't look as though anyone would be able to see through the window. Check out was easy with another lovely receptionist and breakfast was good. A strange selection of cereal, fruit, cakes and biscuits but also a good selection of juices, tea and coffee. I might stay here again if I had limited choice but I would ensure I booked a single room unless I was staying in a group.
Very cheap for London and good transport links”
If you expect something amazing for under £50 in London you will be disappointed but this place had everything a hotel should have and was perfectly clean and comfortable for a night or two. Just round the corner from Paddington station, the canals, and a short walk to oxford street and Hyde park.
