Not again!”
It was difficult to find the premises. No attendant. Three different locations found on Google Map because it keep on changing properties without informing guests and take their stuff to new place without permission. The contact mentioned was not replying to messages.

Don't recomend at all”
When we arrived we were told that there were only three beds available. We were a group of four. We were asked to share beds and when we refused the owner/manager got angry with us. We got our beds and I noticed my sheets were wet. When I went to get new ones the lady was missing and couldn't be found. One of the guests had to ring her for me. When I asked for new sheets she said they didn't have any then walked off. She returned with new sheets and blamed the a/c for the sheets being wet. The a/c was on the other side of the room. The hostel doesn't offer any information about the area or things to do. There is a map on the wall of the trams and an aerial photo of the walk to the tram stop but that's it. We were very disappointed with the attitude of the management and also the male cleaner who kept coming into our room unannounced. Thank god we were all dressed at the time. Never again.

Reservation not honored at hotel”
Even though I had a fully pre-paid reservation, when I arrived at the hostel, I was told the hostel was full, and that I would be accommodated at a different hostel in a different part of town. As I had chosen this hostel specifically because of its location, this was not acceptable to me, but there was nothing that could be done.

An affordable jewel ”
It's the only true affordable place in town although to be a hostel it is expensive up to par with Europe and Australia prices but lower standard overall. That being said, the place is very clean, the staff very nice, the location fantastic and the overall atmosphere great.

Difficult to find the location”
I have spent at least 45 minutes to find the location of this hostel. In fact, the building was newly built and there was no name of that building. I need to find the guy from real property to ask. Please provide the guide for going to the hostel next time.

Don't go to this hostel!”
To start, this is no hostel but a 2 camber apartment with bunkbeds. It stinks, not clean and they offer facilities they don't have. Unfortunately we pre booked 4 nights via Agoda and only stayed 1, because we had to search for another option to stay our time in Dubai. The second day we leaved the hostel and we asked a refund for 3 nights. The lady told us we will received our refund via Agoda. After having contact with Agoda we discovered this was a scam and we received no refund at all. I have no good word for this place, don't go there! For a little bit more money you are staying in a hotel.

Men in the female dorm”
It's so expensive for what you get, but then again, it's Dubai. As everyone already said, it's not really a dorm, just a 2-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, a big bathroom and a smaller one. The location in Dubai is okay, not too far from the metro and bus station, but yes, the building is hard to find. I only found it because someone else had mentioned in the reviews that the entrance is opposite 12b street. The rooms are clean enough, you have to make your own bed (I don't understand why, it looks like the host has enough time to do this). Oh, and the host sleeps in the female dorm and changes her bed almost every day, which is so weird. The bath in the bigger bathroom leaks or something so the entire bathroom floor is always wet. All the doors are almost always open, so you don't really have privacy. All in all, it's okay if you're on a budget. My low score is mainly due to the fact that when the male dorm is full, she lets men stay in the female dorm! For this reason alone, I would never stay here again, because for me this is totally unacceptable.

Hard to find, no cold water.”
No taxi driver in Dubai knows where Al Zanoori Tower is. Instead, you'll have to get to Al Fahidi station, enter Rolla Street and walk all the way down to the other end of the street. The building is unmarked, and there is no signage for the dorm other than on the door of the premise itself on the 3rd floor. Dubai is hot as hell. If you expect some relief in the shower, you'll be disappointed because there is no cold water. Ever. You won't find cold water in the shower even at 3-4am. The only solution is to go there in winter (Nov - March).

Cleanest Hostel l ever stayed at!”
Lovely big male dorm, welcoming staff and Free Locker is gr8. More of an apt. than your typical European style hostels, though then again this is Dubai. Location is good if you like Bur Dubai and want to plank near airport when you first arrive.

Such a nice place and such a nice host! :-) ”
There are not a lot of places for backpackers with low budget like me in Dubai, so I was really glad to find this hostel. It was a while ago that I stayed there, so I can't remember her name, but your host will be so nice. She also booked a Desert Safari Tour for me which was one of the best days during my whole travels! DO IT! The bedrooms and the bathrooms are very clean and tidy and the beds are really comfortable. There is a room with 8 beds for men and a room with 8 beds for women. You also get free and fast wifi. The location is okay. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the next metro station. There you can buy a day pass and visit all the nice places Dubai has to offer. I really recommend this hostel to you! Love from Germany.

Not an hostel but a big flat with many bunkbeds”
Teena from the Domme Hostel staff was very nice and helpful. However, there is nothing like a hostel in here. It is barely a regular large flat with bunkbeds (7*2=14 beds in the male dormitory + maybe 12 beds in the female one) and only 1 shower, 2 WC, and 3 chairs and a small table in the kitchen as "the common area" for all these people. Better not being in hurry to take your shower... Besides, there is no 24/7 reception as mentionned. I arrived on a Saturday night and luckily the door was open (where usually this door is mean to be locked) because no staff was there, a guy staying there show me which bed was free. I met Teena only the following morning.

Decent budget option”
This hostel was kind of strange and not like a normal hostel, more like a couple of big rooms in an apartment building. I wasn't really given any information about the area, how to get around, what to do, etc. You're basically left to yourself to work everything out. There was no common area and not really anywhere to sit if you're a female, as only the male room had chairs. Location was great and walking distance to the Dubai Creek and old part of Dubai but it wasn't so close to metro stations and very difficult to find. A tip - it is directly opposite 12b Street, which forms a T junction with Al Rolla Road.
