"We loved the Villa Saynam, the manager Ratanna was very helpful, in fact she couldn't do enough for us. We could ask to be run into Luang Prabang and picked up whenever we wanted. Or we could walk there and cross the bamboo bridge to the town. She arranged a wonderful trip for us to an elephant training village and a trip up the river to a waterfall. It was one of the best days of a two month holiday. We loved Luang Prabang, beautiful town and plenty of good places to eat at a reasonable price."

"This property is the far side of the port not in the centre of the town. The tuk tuk drivers couldn't find it and nobody knew where it was. When I eventually found it, the guy spoke no English and threw a key at me and pointed upstairs. The 1st floor is flooded. My room doesn't lock, it's filthy. There is no shower head and no water in the bathroom probably something to do with the flood on the landing. The whole experience put a dampener on my visit to Luang Prabang "
