Overall, the service is wonderful. They speak fluent English, they were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an executive room with jacuzzi (though we didn't use the jacuzzi), the room was cozy, warm. The lights were too dim, it would be great if the lights were little more bright. We wanted to be somewhere close by the Old Quarter, this place isn't in the center of it, but it could be called nearby. We didn't have breakfast during our 2 days of staying, but I did pass by to see what's on the menu, and it was a average international breakfast. Maybe I passed by too late, 9:40, there was no one eating. I would recommend this place for those who likes a place that's near to the Dong Xuan Market, and likes to walk a lot. But stay during the autumn. Summer in Vietnam is TOO HOT to go anywhere... This hotel is great. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hanoi 3B lost the lease to their old location and moved slightly north to become the Hanoi Old Quarter Apartment And House. Even though the room did not look like those in the old website, we were nevertheless impressed at the cleanliness and newness of the room and bathroom. All the staff from front desk to the maids were really friendly and helpful. A special mention must be made of Phuong. She was fluent in English and went above duty to help us. The location is not a problem for going to attractions A few extra minutes of walking solved it. We recommend this hotel highly.

I and my girlfriend picked this hotel through agoda because it is near by Dong Xuan Market (weekend night market ) We sent email to get pick up service and it is easy to see driver at airport . We arrived hotel with friendly welcome . The room is large and clean , Bathroom is very mordern with rainning shower . We also booked halong bay and Ha Giang trip with them . The manager is great man when he help me with the advise and we had unforgotable trip in Vietnam .I will come back one day we will choose this hotel again .

Ms Moon the female staff is really good, friendly and attentive to the customer. Location is good, too near to Mosque An Nour, there is halal food nearby and near to Dong Xuan Market and Night market at old quarter. Since we were leaving early morning at 6am they packed our breakfast, very thoughtful of them. The staff also help us to carry our luggage and they work really hard.

Next time I visit Hanoi, I will definitely stay at the Anise Hotel again. Staff are friendly, Western food served, rooms very clean and modern, also good television, bathroom, and air conditioning. Very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, bath robes, and room safe. Close location to the Main market and night market street. Also close to old quarter shopping district.

This hostel is a great place to meet other young travelers and the staff can help you arrange basically anything - I was there during Tet (new year) craziness and they did their best to help me book bus tickets and train travel despite everything being a bit chaotic at the time. The free city walking tour they provide every day was awesome and the Ha Long Bay trip I booked through them was super fun as well!

Rooms are clean, beds are OK, Wi-Fi, hot water and AC worked very well. Airport pick-up and drop off were on time and had no problems (driver even helped with bags). Location is very convenient. Everything is within walking distance in the Old Quarter. We also walked from the hotel to usual places for sightseeing (like Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Hoan Kiem Lake, etc). There's no elevator though so ask for a room on the 1st or 2nd floor, though they will help you with your bags if you ask. There are only 2 rooms per floor and there are 5 floors in all in a rather narrow building (which seems to be typical in Hanoi, as even shops and cafes are laid out like this, with the first two floors used for business and the upper floors for family use). They have free tea, coffee and fruits (pineapple, bananas and dragon fruit during our stay in December) all day, which is a nice thing to come home to specially when you've been out walking in the cold all day. What really made are stay are the very friendly and helpful staff (Moon and Anh). Moon and Anh always welcomes guests with a smile, asks about your day, trades stories and jokes, and you can ask them for recommendations about anything (tours, spas, food places to try, how much things usually cost and where are the best places to find them -- just tell them what you're looking for or show them a picture), or questions about Vietnam and Hanoi. They give guests a map of the Old Quarter and they'll mark places of interest for you and tell you how to get there. Moon's shift usually starts at 7 in the morning, and Anh takes over around 3PM or so. Another guy (who doesn't communicate very well) starts at around 9PM (so it's best to relay any requests to Moon and Anh as the guy doesn't seem to be able to make decisions on his own). I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

i've got a private triple room. It's run by a family (I guess?), cheap, centrally located in the heart of Hanoi city. Dong Xuan market is just behind the street. We requested airport transfer through agoda.com but the hostel was not notified about this. So we had to take cab to the hostel. However the staffs are very friendly and helpful. They will try their best to serve us the best. A very pleasant stay.

We had a pleasant stay in Viet hotel in Hanoi. The staff was very friendly. They arranged our taxis after we found out that a lot of metered taxis have very fast counting meters! We've booked a nice trip to Halong via the booking desk in the hotel lobby at a very reasonable price. We had a room at the centre of the building with a 'window' which opened into an air-funnel. After all this was a big advantage, as we were away from all the street noise. The rooms at the 6th floor can be a bit noisy as the staff starts early in the morning with the preparations for breakfast, laughing and shouting. The hotel restaurant is a bit dull, as is there menu, although I had the best fresh springrolls I had for a long time. I would recommend this hotel. Beware of copy cats.

good English service,you can ask the staff the way and change money in the hostel； nice address which ls really neat to the cho dong xuan market；a good place to know about the old quarter; degree of cleanliness is just so so； terrible breakfast compared with that of guesthouses I lived in combodia. it's very noisy on the top floor during the evening because of the party，you can choose this hostel if you like it or don't care about this.

I booked and paid for Deluxe double room with Agoda, upon my arrival I was told by Reception staff that my room was not available, because it was FULL. I got a feeling they prefer reservations from B**king.com. Be prepared to listen to their story about " My manager did not tell me ..." or "..we did not see your reservation with Agoda".. I was offered to move to another partner-hotel, which I declined. In the end first night i stayed in triple room, next day I was given my room which I reserved with Agoda. Except that problem with check in, hotel is okay and staff is helpful. But they really need to improve their booking system and be more responsible.

Room is small, clean and gets tidy up every day. Unfortuneately its possible you get a room wothout any window, except a little one in the bathroom. However they offered other rooms with windows the next day by their own. The staffs also always offering help. could be annyoing sometimes but actually is lovely anyway. breakfast was perfect with warm dishes freshly cooked, toast and Jam or fruits. there is also tea, coffe and juice. price was value for that hotel about 21€, so worth it. Henry aided us with any requests by using buses or anything else.

Jack, the host, is a very caring person and always willing to help. If we had questions he was always there for us, on the other side he gave us as much as privacy we needed. The room was very spacious and had a really beautiful balcony. Even during the day it was not so hot inside the room without any use of AC (but there is one). The location for us was perfect, because you can stay and sleep in a quiet atmosphere but you are quickly (about 10min walking) in the old town. We would definetely come again.
